00:01:47 --> 00:01:55 Dave you know this was the first time in three years oh lord I tell you.
00:01:57 --> 00:02:02 I'm still batting 100% though okay alright whatever you say Whatever you say.
00:02:02 --> 00:02:07 I had to bragging last week. I don't mess up. I'd say the same thing all the time. I know.
00:02:08 --> 00:02:10 Yeah. But anyway. Thanks to myself.
00:02:11 --> 00:02:14 Well, here we are. We're in the spot again.
00:02:15 --> 00:02:19 It's raining, folks, here in Delaware.
00:02:19 --> 00:02:22 I don't know where everybody is, but for those of you in Delaware,
00:02:22 --> 00:02:26 you probably have experienced the same thing that we're experiencing right now.
00:02:27 --> 00:02:31 It came down last night. Did you guys get the storms down there last night?
00:02:32 --> 00:02:36 Well, so I was up where you were, but yes Oh,
00:02:36 --> 00:02:40 okay You wasn't at the campground last night Nope,
00:02:41 --> 00:02:45 You know, the weather's been kind of crazy the last couple days,
00:02:46 --> 00:02:52 But Still hot here though, folks We still had some hot weather I'm just glad
00:02:52 --> 00:03:00 that The weekend wasn't too bad What Sunday was It was hot on Sunday Oh yeah, it was Yeah.
00:03:01 --> 00:03:08 It was hot and humid I was fortunate enough to be able to host my family reunion.
00:03:08 --> 00:03:10 Shout out to my family that listened.
00:03:11 --> 00:03:16 My cousin, Tron, who is a younger cousin of mine, we and him decided to get
00:03:16 --> 00:03:21 together a few months back and decided we were going to do our family reunion.
00:03:21 --> 00:03:25 We haven't done one in a while, and we wanted to make it nice.
00:03:25 --> 00:03:29 We wanted to get as many people to come out as possible, which we were able to do.
00:03:29 --> 00:03:36 And it really turned out to be a very nice affair at the Bellevue State Park
00:03:36 --> 00:03:42 where we had well over 200 people to show up and even had people that we had
00:03:42 --> 00:03:48 never met before from down state and everything coming from out of town.
00:03:48 --> 00:03:53 The furthest somebody came was Kentucky. They drove 13 hours to come. Oh, wow.
00:03:54 --> 00:04:01 So, yeah. So it was really good. It was a lot of A lot of fun.
00:04:02 --> 00:04:08 Shout out to my girl, Lindsay, of Lindsay's Catering. She did her thing that day.
00:04:08 --> 00:04:12 Matter of fact, man, everybody was trying to get her number, man. You know?
00:04:14 --> 00:04:17 Because she did her thing that day. Her and her group.
00:04:18 --> 00:04:22 And I also want to give a shout out to a friend of mine named Deron Green,
00:04:22 --> 00:04:25 who works with Delaware State Rentals.
00:04:25 --> 00:04:28 He supplied some extra chairs and tables for us.
00:04:29 --> 00:04:36 So, I mean, it was a good day, man. It really was. I mean, and my family is a very close family.
00:04:36 --> 00:04:39 We really care about each other. And even though we just met some people for
00:04:39 --> 00:04:43 the first time that we haven't been around, some people I hadn't seen since
00:04:43 --> 00:04:49 I was probably 11 or 12 years old, you know, you could tell there's, you know,
00:04:50 --> 00:04:55 even with that, you know, everybody just started loving on each other and everything.
00:04:55 --> 00:04:59 So it was a great day. It really was. So I was glad that we were able to get that done.
00:05:01 --> 00:05:04 So, and it was a great day weather-wise.
00:05:04 --> 00:05:08 I mean, it wasn't too hot. It wasn't, you know, it wasn't one of those humid
00:05:08 --> 00:05:12 days. It was a perfect, perfect, perfect day.
00:05:13 --> 00:05:17 So, that was the highlight of my weekend. What about yours? Man,
00:05:17 --> 00:05:19 mine was, to be honest, mine was just work.
00:05:20 --> 00:05:26 It was just work, work, work. So, Dave, how many people would you say came out to your family reunion?
00:05:27 --> 00:05:30 We probably had about 240 altogether. Oh, wow. Okay.
00:05:31 --> 00:05:36 Yeah, and that wasn't all of us. That was a support thing. Was there any food left over?
00:05:37 --> 00:05:41 Yeah, believe it or not, we had food left over. Yeah, we had food left over.
00:05:42 --> 00:05:47 It's funny because initially when we planned this, started planning this,
00:05:47 --> 00:05:49 we were only planning for 100 to 125.
00:05:51 --> 00:05:57 So when we started getting the responses, you know, thanks to my partner who
00:05:57 --> 00:06:04 built our website for us, we know you had to go on to the website to register and everything.
00:06:04 --> 00:06:08 We started noticing and all of a sudden we'd be getting all these registrations
00:06:08 --> 00:06:12 and everything. I was like, oh man, this is going to be more than a hundred and something people.
00:06:12 --> 00:06:16 Then we started, we did a spreadsheet and started putting everything on a spreadsheet.
00:06:17 --> 00:06:18 And then we started seeing the numbers.
00:06:19 --> 00:06:24 And before we knew it, there was over 250 people that registered.
00:06:24 --> 00:06:30 So not everybody came, but we had, you know, just from, you know,
00:06:30 --> 00:06:34 the accounting that we did and, you know, then we had people,
00:06:35 --> 00:06:36 you know, some people would leave.
00:06:36 --> 00:06:39 Then we have a whole new crew to come in because we were there from 12 to 8.
00:06:40 --> 00:06:42 Matter of fact, we started packing up around 7.
00:06:43 --> 00:06:46 So, and there was food still there at 7 o'clock.
00:06:47 --> 00:06:52 So, yeah, so it turned, you know, it was a good crowd.
00:06:52 --> 00:06:59 It was a good crowd. And we have my family that's from downstate has a reunion coming up on the 23rd.
00:07:00 --> 00:07:03 They've always done this reunion every year at Killing's Pond.
00:07:04 --> 00:07:10 Some of them came up to this one, but still, and they still have another large
00:07:10 --> 00:07:14 group to come out to that one that I didn't come up to this one.
00:07:14 --> 00:07:18 And even though some of them did. So I'm telling you, it's a big family,
00:07:18 --> 00:07:19 man. It's a real big family.
00:07:20 --> 00:07:24 All right. So, uh, the, the Cokers and what was it?
00:07:25 --> 00:07:28 It's funny. It has nothing to do with the Cokers. Yeah. I mean,
00:07:28 --> 00:07:30 this is my, this is my mother's side of the family.
00:07:30 --> 00:07:36 So, ironically, on my father's side of the family, we're the exact opposite.
00:07:36 --> 00:07:38 We're very small on my father's side of the family.
00:07:39 --> 00:07:43 There's only a few of us that are still left. I don't think it's,
00:07:43 --> 00:07:53 we probably have less than 50 people on this side compared to 200 or something
00:07:53 --> 00:07:55 that showed up on Saturday and that wasn't even all of us.
00:07:56 --> 00:08:01 So, yeah. Yeah. So, but it was a good day.
00:08:01 --> 00:08:05 So should I come today or tomorrow to pick up my plate?
00:08:06 --> 00:08:11 Your plate is in the freezer at the park. It's sitting right there. Oh, okay.
00:08:12 --> 00:08:15 At the Bellevue Park is what you're saying? At Bellevue State Park.
00:08:15 --> 00:08:21 Let's go down to Pavilion No. 1. There's a freezer there, and there's a plate with your name on it.
00:08:21 --> 00:08:26 Okay. All right, Dave. You know, I appreciate it because you always look out. Yeah, I know.
00:08:27 --> 00:08:33 I definitely looked out for you that day. Yeah. Okay. All right. Yeah.
00:08:35 --> 00:08:38 You said you just worked. You didn't do anything exciting.
00:08:41 --> 00:08:49 It was a working weekend. That's all I can say. I was tired. I bet you were.
00:08:52 --> 00:08:59 I guess we can go ahead and talk about some other things.
00:08:59 --> 00:09:05 I'm sorry. I want to give a super quick shout out. Uh-oh, please give a shout out to people.
00:09:06 --> 00:09:09 Yep, so this weekend, and it just made me think about it because I was so impressed.
00:09:10 --> 00:09:17 So this weekend, there was a black sorority that came down from Philadelphia, Alpha Kappa Omegas.
00:09:18 --> 00:09:22 I believe if I'm reading the letters right. So they're not a Greek,
00:09:23 --> 00:09:25 you know, not like a black Greek. That's what you're saying.
00:09:25 --> 00:09:28 I didn't think so because I didn't know that. But yeah, but when I was talking
00:09:28 --> 00:09:31 to them, so they were a spinoff of like Kappa Sweethearts.
00:09:31 --> 00:09:36 Okay. And it turned into a sorority and they brought a group of girls.
00:09:36 --> 00:09:40 So, of course, you know, they're black. Of course, they brought a group of girls
00:09:40 --> 00:09:46 are probably about 30, maybe ages eight to like 16.
00:09:47 --> 00:09:52 And, you know, they came down, they came to our bingo night and they did a movie night.
00:09:52 --> 00:09:57 They did a bonfire night. They went to the pool and then they did some kind
00:09:57 --> 00:10:01 of like some, I don't even know what you call it, some motivational stuff.
00:10:01 --> 00:10:04 But, you know, I just want to give them a shout out. The girls,
00:10:04 --> 00:10:08 they were all well behaved, very nice, very intelligent.
00:10:09 --> 00:10:12 And it was just one of the things where, you know, even though I wasn't as familiar
00:10:12 --> 00:10:17 with that sorority from Philadelphia, very impressive. They're doing a great job.
00:10:17 --> 00:10:20 The girls look like they had fun, you know, here at the campground.
00:10:20 --> 00:10:22 So I just want to give them a shout out.
00:10:23 --> 00:10:25 And, you know, it was just a good sight to see because, you know,
00:10:25 --> 00:10:28 a lot of time and I'm going out on a limb.
00:10:29 --> 00:10:33 But, you know, a lot of kids in the city don't get to go to campgrounds and
00:10:33 --> 00:10:37 may not be as experienced with nature. And I just give a quick example.
00:10:38 --> 00:10:41 When these girls saw a frog, guess what they all did?
00:10:42 --> 00:10:47 They screamed and ran for about 10 minutes.
00:10:47 --> 00:10:51 10 minutes, they were screaming and running. How old?
00:10:52 --> 00:10:55 So the youngest ones were probably maybe eight. I mean, like,
00:10:55 --> 00:11:01 they, you know, Dave, when you get older, you have no idea how old little kids are. Yeah, yeah.
00:11:02 --> 00:11:07 They could have been four. I don't know. But I'm just going to say between eight and about 16.
00:11:07 --> 00:11:09 But just very respectful.
00:11:10 --> 00:11:13 You know, they had a great program, and I just want to shout them out.
00:11:14 --> 00:11:19 Malika in Philadelphia, Chanel, and some other people, you know, just did a great job.
00:11:19 --> 00:11:24 So, you know, it was just a good thing to see for our young Black ladies.
00:11:24 --> 00:11:30 Okay. Now, is this something they do annually? Is this the first one they've come down there?
00:11:30 --> 00:11:34 So this is the first time that they came to GNR Campground. Now,
00:11:34 --> 00:11:38 I'm sure with their organization and how organized they were,
00:11:38 --> 00:11:42 they probably go somewhere every year or, you know, they probably do something every year.
00:11:43 --> 00:11:47 OK. All right. I wonder if they're like the Jack and Jill group.
00:11:48 --> 00:11:51 Mm hmm. You familiar with Jack and Jill? Yeah.
00:11:52 --> 00:11:56 Yeah. Are they sort of like that a little bit? I mean, I think similar in the
00:11:56 --> 00:11:59 fact that they're kind of mentoring, you know, young ladies.
00:12:00 --> 00:12:05 And yes, you know, maybe with a different overall mission, but for the most part, yeah.
00:12:06 --> 00:12:11 Okay. All right. Cool. All right. Oh, man. Since we're giving a shout out,
00:12:11 --> 00:12:13 so let's give a shout out to another young lady.
00:12:14 --> 00:12:16 I guess this is the women's segment here. Yeah.
00:12:19 --> 00:12:28 To Ms. Vita Woolley, who just was sworn in as the Deputy Attorney General, right?
00:12:29 --> 00:12:36 I'm Lisa. I mean, yeah, yeah. And, you know, she is the daughter of our friend, Mr. Dave Woolley.
00:12:37 --> 00:12:40 And, you know, that's a big step. She just passed the Delaware Bar.
00:12:40 --> 00:12:44 This is her second bar that she just passed, that she has passed.
00:12:44 --> 00:12:49 She also has passed the Nevada Bar as well. and currently studying for the PA bar.
00:12:50 --> 00:12:56 So, you know, she's nothing to sneeze at, people.
00:12:57 --> 00:13:00 This girl ain't no joke, man. She really isn't.
00:13:01 --> 00:13:07 And she is definitely going to make some changes. I can see her name being all over the place.
00:13:07 --> 00:13:10 Did you see the news piece that they did on TV about them?
00:13:10 --> 00:13:14 About Farida? Yeah, it was her and Dave.
00:13:15 --> 00:13:20 Oh, no, I didn't. Yeah, it was on, what was it, CBS or ABC News or something?
00:13:20 --> 00:13:24 Yeah, I thought it was on. If you go to Dave's page, I think it's on there as well.
00:13:26 --> 00:13:29 But one of the Philadelphia news stations did a piece on them.
00:13:31 --> 00:13:34 So congratulations, Vita, from News & Trends.
00:13:34 --> 00:13:40 You know, your buddy's here at News & Trends. So we really, we're proud of you.
00:13:40 --> 00:13:44 You know, you're really doing your thing right now. Okay?
00:13:45 --> 00:13:49 So I just wanted to get that shout out since we were giving our shout outs there
00:13:49 --> 00:13:55 so alright okay let's get to the show we got a few things to talk about today.
00:13:57 --> 00:14:04 I saw this story. This is a simple story, but then it's so about life today.
00:14:05 --> 00:14:10 And it's currently raining, so you probably hear rain in the background, people. So I don't know.
00:14:10 --> 00:14:13 So just letting you know if you hear the rain.
00:14:14 --> 00:14:16 God wants to be on the show today too.
00:14:18 --> 00:14:26 So I don't know if everybody saw this story. It said Nelly criticized for telling Ashanti.
00:14:27 --> 00:14:29 He won't help change baby diapers.
00:14:30 --> 00:14:36 So I thought this was pretty interesting because how many times have you heard
00:14:36 --> 00:14:40 about fathers saying, hey, that's not a man's job. That's a woman's job.
00:14:40 --> 00:14:43 You know, did you do that, Leonard? Did you tell your wife that?
00:14:44 --> 00:14:51 No. I was up there changing diapers with the bottle, all that terrible stuff.
00:14:51 --> 00:14:55 Yeah, yeah. Been there, done that myself. So I understand, you know.
00:14:55 --> 00:15:01 So listen to this. It says, Nelly is under fire after telling Ashanti on their
00:15:01 --> 00:15:04 reality show that he doesn't plan on helping her with their baby.
00:15:04 --> 00:15:11 He openly said he won't change diapers, barking backlash from fans who say he's
00:15:11 --> 00:15:13 leaving the parenting all to Ashanti.
00:15:13 --> 00:15:19 In Nelly and Ashanti, we belong together. The rapper reveals she's heading out on a two-month tour.
00:15:19 --> 00:15:26 Ashanti now caring for their 11-month-old son, KK, shares that while she's proud
00:15:26 --> 00:15:31 of Nelly's success, she's anxious about managing things alone.
00:15:33 --> 00:15:40 During a restaurant scene, Ashanti mentions how hard it is with the baby when Nellie is away.
00:15:40 --> 00:15:43 Nellie responds bluntly, it's all you.
00:15:46 --> 00:15:52 I ain't going to even lie. You know I ain't got nothing for him.
00:15:53 --> 00:15:58 That's interesting. He recalls telling Ashanti that he expected her to handle
00:15:58 --> 00:16:02 most of the early childcare until their son could walk and talk.
00:16:03 --> 00:16:05 He can already get divorced. That's what he can already get.
00:16:06 --> 00:16:12 Ashanti also called him out for never waking up when the baby cries at night.
00:16:12 --> 00:16:17 Nellie claims he doesn't hear it and calls that his gift.
00:16:17 --> 00:16:22 When Ashanti tells him it's time to change the baby's diaper,
00:16:22 --> 00:16:28 Nellie jokes, baby, I'll give you the world. I just ain't changing no diapers.
00:16:29 --> 00:16:33 He said the scene didn't sit too well with viewers. many took to social media
00:16:33 --> 00:16:35 to criticize Nelly's attitude.
00:16:36 --> 00:16:40 Some called him out for being selfish, while others sympathized with Ashanti.
00:16:41 --> 00:16:44 Comments like, Ashanti is a married single mom.
00:16:46 --> 00:16:52 I know that's pretty cool. And real men change diapers, flooded online threads.
00:16:52 --> 00:16:56 So we've all, at some point or other,
00:16:57 --> 00:17:03 have probably heard some male, or friends, even friends of ours or,
00:17:03 --> 00:17:11 you know I know, I know with my first child, I didn't change diapers at, you know our,
00:17:11 --> 00:17:15 And it wasn't that I didn't want to or whatever. It's just that I never had
00:17:15 --> 00:17:19 to. You know what I mean? You never had to? Come on now.
00:17:19 --> 00:17:23 I'm serious. I didn't. You never had to. So she's like, no, Dave,
00:17:23 --> 00:17:25 don't change that diaper. I got it.
00:17:26 --> 00:17:30 No, she never. It just seemed like it just happened. I don't know why.
00:17:30 --> 00:17:31 You know, a lot of stuttering over there.
00:17:32 --> 00:17:35 I'm telling you, it does. I mean, I'm being very transparent.
00:17:35 --> 00:17:39 It seemed like she just always took care of it. but now
00:17:39 --> 00:17:42 I'm with my last you know I'm with my boys my last two
00:17:42 --> 00:17:45 children now I was very involved in changing diapers with
00:17:45 --> 00:17:49 them you know with them and so forth but especially my
00:17:49 --> 00:17:55 last my last son you know because he he was always with me all the time and
00:17:55 --> 00:18:02 so I you know I ended up changing his diaper a lot but uh but yeah but I know
00:18:02 --> 00:18:08 guys I said no I ain't changed no diapers and never has changed a diaper. We didn't know how to.
00:18:08 --> 00:18:13 You know? So, that's what I'm saying.
00:18:14 --> 00:18:20 How do you feel about this whole thing? Do you feel that he's been chauvinistic?
00:18:21 --> 00:18:26 Or should he have a whole different attitude about this whole thing?
00:18:27 --> 00:18:35 And with her saying what she said about you know, what was the comment?
00:18:35 --> 00:18:42 The comment was how hard it was when she, when Nellie's away to deal with the child.
00:18:43 --> 00:18:47 That sounds like some mental stuff going on there.
00:18:48 --> 00:18:53 You know, she could have postpartum. She's not a younger mom.
00:18:53 --> 00:18:55 She's an older mother. You know what I mean?
00:18:56 --> 00:19:01 So what's your thoughts on all of that? So Dave, I happened to see the clip.
00:19:02 --> 00:19:08 And I can't lie, it just made Nelly look bad. You know, I think I understand
00:19:08 --> 00:19:10 not wanting to and maybe not.
00:19:10 --> 00:19:14 But, you know, it's like, you know, something you just don't share because you
00:19:14 --> 00:19:18 know how public reactions are big now. I mean, granted, it drew views,
00:19:18 --> 00:19:20 probably had a lot of people watching the show.
00:19:21 --> 00:19:26 But when I was listening to him talk, I felt like it made him sound very immature.
00:19:26 --> 00:19:33 You know, I don't know. It was weird. It's almost like Ashanti was a parent. He was a child.
00:19:33 --> 00:19:37 Like, you know, just how that conversation went, you know, and then on the flip side.
00:19:37 --> 00:19:41 So, like, you know, with my kids, you know, I did whatever I had to do.
00:19:41 --> 00:19:48 You know, I do know some people who do not like to or refuse to,
00:19:48 --> 00:19:52 but, you know, I mean, I really, you know, I think every relationship is different,
00:19:52 --> 00:19:59 but from the Nellie and Ashanti, she looked like she was frustrated and hearing him talk.
00:20:00 --> 00:20:06 So I would say for him, he probably does not have the right lady that he can
00:20:06 --> 00:20:10 refuse, you know, refuse that to, if that makes sense.
00:20:11 --> 00:20:13 Yeah, it makes a lot of sense. Yeah.
00:20:14 --> 00:20:20 Yeah. Well, uh, I know, I know a whole bunch of other men that will do whatever she says to do, you know?
00:20:21 --> 00:20:26 So, I mean, you know, he can fool around if he want to, uh, you know,
00:20:26 --> 00:20:28 you know, especially with their history and everything.
00:20:29 --> 00:20:34 I, I, you know, they, they've been, you know, kind of connected to each other
00:20:34 --> 00:20:37 for many years, you know, whether they were together or not,
00:20:37 --> 00:20:38 they were still connected.
00:20:39 --> 00:20:45 And here it is. They end up together. They have this baby. And now is this baby
00:20:45 --> 00:20:46 going to be the wedge between them?
00:20:47 --> 00:20:54 Or is it, you know, and I shouldn't say, is this baby going to be the wedge between them?
00:20:54 --> 00:20:59 But is Nellie going to use that baby as being the wedge between them?
00:20:59 --> 00:21:05 You know, because he's not ready to own up to the responsibility of being a
00:21:05 --> 00:21:10 father, fully own up to the responsibility of being a father. Right.
00:21:10 --> 00:21:19 Now, we have too many people out here that have the title but know nothing about the work.
00:21:20 --> 00:21:25 If you feel... Sounds about right. Yeah. There's a lot of people out here that
00:21:25 --> 00:21:29 have the title but don't know anything about the work or how to do the work.
00:21:30 --> 00:21:33 So, and that's unfortunate. And, you know,
00:21:34 --> 00:21:42 sounding like he might be one of those guys too you know but I guess you know
00:21:42 --> 00:21:49 unless it's scripted and maybe you know it is reality TV you know so you know
00:21:49 --> 00:21:52 there's always a reason there's always a reason for,
00:21:53 --> 00:21:58 you know the way these shows are written up and so forth and so forth because
00:21:58 --> 00:22:06 you know it's for views it's for clicks it's for comments so maybe.
00:22:07 --> 00:22:15 Things are not as they seem possibly but if they are not a good look not a good look.
00:22:17 --> 00:22:22 Alright we're going to move on to the next story talk about babysitting and
00:22:22 --> 00:22:30 changing diapers we need to change some diapers from this next story so we're going to,
00:22:31 --> 00:22:34 Our president, well, let me start over.
00:22:35 --> 00:22:43 The president of the United States is feuding with Elon Musk, and it has escalated.
00:22:44 --> 00:22:50 And now, because he's bad at him, he wants to deport Elon back to South Africa.
00:22:51 --> 00:22:55 Have you been following this by any chance? Unfortunately, I have.
00:22:55 --> 00:23:00 And Dave, I just want to say real quick, what I always say, eventually Donald
00:23:00 --> 00:23:04 Trump It's going to fall out with everybody. And I knew this was coming.
00:23:05 --> 00:23:09 Oh, yeah. Well, yeah. Yeah, well, too many egos, first of all.
00:23:10 --> 00:23:13 I mean, and it's too much money.
00:23:13 --> 00:23:17 I mean, you know, when money's involved and egos are involved,
00:23:17 --> 00:23:19 this is the kind of stuff that happens.
00:23:19 --> 00:23:26 So it says, President Donald Trump reignited his feud with Elon Musk on July
00:23:26 --> 00:23:33 1st, threatening to consider deporting the billionaire entrepreneur to his native South Africa.
00:23:33 --> 00:23:43 The clash escalated after Musk publicly criticized Trump's massive tax and budget bill,
00:23:43 --> 00:23:49 calling for Republicans who support it to face primary challenges.
00:23:49 --> 00:23:55 Trump responded by suggesting Musk might face scrutiny from the Department of
00:23:55 --> 00:24:00 Government Efficiency, which is the old department that he used to be the head of, Doge.
00:24:00 --> 00:24:02 A federal agency must...
00:24:03 --> 00:24:08 Like I said, just once led, and even floated the idea of cutting the billions
00:24:08 --> 00:24:13 into subsidies and contracts Musk's companies receive.
00:24:13 --> 00:24:20 According to the USA Today, Trump's comments made both on Truth Social and during
00:24:20 --> 00:24:22 an impromptu press briefing,
00:24:22 --> 00:24:28 aimed just hours after Musk warned that the bill could balloon the national
00:24:28 --> 00:24:36 debt by $3.3 trillion over the next decade.
00:24:36 --> 00:24:39 $3.3 trillion, Leonard.
00:24:39 --> 00:24:44 That's a lot of money, man. No, it is. That's a lot of money.
00:24:45 --> 00:24:52 Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, accused the Trump-backed bill of reckless spending
00:24:52 --> 00:24:59 and said he would support efforts to unseat GOP lawmakers who vote for it.
00:25:00 --> 00:25:07 In a rapid-fire reply on X, Musk wrote, it must be nice to have your own social
00:25:07 --> 00:25:14 media page so you can just comment on things and react the way.
00:25:14 --> 00:25:15 Whenever time you feel like it.
00:25:16 --> 00:25:20 Musk wrote, I am literally saying cut it all.
00:25:21 --> 00:25:28 Now, Trump, now, he said, Trump didn't hold back, suggesting Musk owes much
00:25:28 --> 00:25:32 of his success to government subsidies and tax breaks.
00:25:32 --> 00:25:38 Without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa.
00:25:38 --> 00:25:46 Trump wrote in 1234 AM Truth Social Post, He mocked Musk with a Veal threat.
00:25:48 --> 00:25:54 Perhaps we should have those take a good, hard look at this. Big money to be saved.
00:25:54 --> 00:26:04 Musk, a naturalized U.S. citizen since 2002, became increasingly critical of
00:26:04 --> 00:26:09 Trump's policies in recent months, particularly the rollback of the climate-related initiatives.
00:26:09 --> 00:26:14 He blasts Trump's decision to terminate what the former president refers to
00:26:14 --> 00:26:22 as the electric vehicle mandate and EPA regulation that aim to reduce emissions
00:26:22 --> 00:26:27 from light and medium-duty vehicles starting in 2027.
00:26:27 --> 00:26:30 So there's a lot going on between these two.
00:26:31 --> 00:26:40 And ironically, Musk actually sounds like he is on a positive.
00:26:42 --> 00:26:45 Good side of what trump is
00:26:45 --> 00:26:51 doing with this bill trump is signing you know it seems that he's you know calls
00:26:51 --> 00:27:00 himself doing good but when we talk about 3.3 trillion in a 10-year period that's
00:27:00 --> 00:27:04 that's a lot of money and a lot of damage that could be done pretty quickly,
00:27:05 --> 00:27:10 I mean, if you think about it, there's a lot there to that.
00:27:10 --> 00:27:18 Even the fact that they actually have been able to figure out to the dollar amount just about,
00:27:19 --> 00:27:29 what effect that this bill could have on, you know, on the economy over the next 10 years.
00:27:29 --> 00:27:33 And it may not even take 10 years because everything has escalated right now.
00:27:33 --> 00:27:35 Everything is moving quickly.
00:27:36 --> 00:27:43 Our timelines have been imploded in most cases because what we think is we got
00:27:43 --> 00:27:47 time on has happened pretty quickly in a lot of other situations.
00:27:48 --> 00:27:53 So what do you think about all this? Do you think that that Eli's stance on
00:27:53 --> 00:27:56 this whole thing is the right stance on it?
00:27:56 --> 00:28:02 And do you think Trump is making a big mistake and going to put us in a bad
00:28:02 --> 00:28:06 situation in the next few years? Both.
00:28:07 --> 00:28:13 Okay. All right. But, you know, I only say because. So my take on it is and
00:28:13 --> 00:28:16 I haven't really followed the big, beautiful bill too much.
00:28:17 --> 00:28:25 But it looks like Trump is basically pressuring Republican members of Congress
00:28:25 --> 00:28:27 and the Senate to pass the bill.
00:28:27 --> 00:28:30 And I'm sure a lot of them don't believe in it either.
00:28:31 --> 00:28:35 And, you know, I think you really can't pressure, like how, how do you pressure
00:28:35 --> 00:28:37 the richest man in the world?
00:28:38 --> 00:28:42 You know, so, and, you know, Musk has always been outspoken.
00:28:42 --> 00:28:46 I still don't like him, you know, But it's kind of like, Dave,
00:28:46 --> 00:28:48 like I said, give it time.
00:28:48 --> 00:28:56 Anyone who is associated with Trump will get turned on or will turn on him, one or the other.
00:28:56 --> 00:29:01 Yeah, I agree. I'm waiting for Jeff Bezos to wake up.
00:29:02 --> 00:29:04 Well, you know, Dave, he didn't worry about it.
00:29:05 --> 00:29:09 He's on his honeymoon, man. Yeah, $10 million on a wedding, man.
00:29:09 --> 00:29:13 And Dave, if he's on his honeymoon and he think about Trump and Eli,
00:29:14 --> 00:29:16 you know, he's not who we thought he was.
00:29:18 --> 00:29:26 Yeah, well, well, I just think that, you know, we're in real big trouble.
00:29:26 --> 00:29:30 We really are. And we need to.
00:29:33 --> 00:29:34 I just feel that.
00:29:36 --> 00:29:41 There's so much strong arming going on right now in, in our government.
00:29:41 --> 00:29:45 And it's being like, it's almost like you, you go into these,
00:29:45 --> 00:29:50 these Senate hearings and these, or you go into Congress where,
00:29:50 --> 00:29:54 and you know, you were to build, you know, where they're presenting bills and so forth.
00:29:54 --> 00:29:58 And it seemed like it's somebody standing there with a gun telling people the,
00:29:58 --> 00:30:00 you better like this bill.
00:30:00 --> 00:30:04 You better sign it, you know, so we can go in and get it out there.
00:30:04 --> 00:30:07 Cause I just can't, I just find it hard to believe that people,
00:30:08 --> 00:30:11 some of the stuff that's going through is going through.
00:30:12 --> 00:30:15 I mean, what other explanation is it?
00:30:15 --> 00:30:23 I mean, why hasn't the House or the Senate been able to stop a lot of this stuff?
00:30:25 --> 00:30:32 Because Trump is pressuring them. You know, I feel like Trump is pressuring
00:30:32 --> 00:30:36 everyone in the Senate and in the Congress to do what he wants to do.
00:30:37 --> 00:30:42 And we've seen from the past that there are Republicans who are against him.
00:30:42 --> 00:30:46 You know, we've seen what was the Republican who passed away?
00:30:47 --> 00:30:51 I can't remember. How long ago? Like three, four years ago.
00:30:52 --> 00:30:56 Are you talking about Cheney or?
00:30:56 --> 00:30:58 Yes yes because i remember he used to stand up
00:30:58 --> 00:31:02 to trump and trump he did uh you know criticized him
00:31:02 --> 00:31:05 and yeah talked about his war experience
00:31:05 --> 00:31:12 and everything so yeah yeah yeah that's right he didn't he you know matter of
00:31:12 --> 00:31:16 fact you know his daughter is and you know you know in politics and you know
00:31:16 --> 00:31:23 she was gone back and forth with trump too you know so yeah but i i don't know i i.
00:31:24 --> 00:31:28 It's just scary, you know, when you see these kind of numbers being thrown around
00:31:28 --> 00:31:34 and, you know, and people still don't know where their next meal is going to
00:31:34 --> 00:31:37 come from, you know, and it's all about the rich people.
00:31:37 --> 00:31:40 All this stuff is only stuff that the rich people can see.
00:31:40 --> 00:31:46 You know what I mean? We can't even fan them, you know, trillions of dollars,
00:31:46 --> 00:31:48 you know, we can't or billions of dollars.
00:31:49 --> 00:31:54 You know, these people are talking about trillion doesn't even seem like it's a real number.
00:31:54 --> 00:31:59 To us because there's no way look, we can never see a trillion dollars in our lifetime.
00:32:00 --> 00:32:07 I mean, think about it think about it, yeah I mean, you know but they are predicting,
00:32:08 --> 00:32:15 that before Trump leaves office that they probably will probably see our first
00:32:15 --> 00:32:21 trillionaire that's crazy yeah, it is crazy you know.
00:32:23 --> 00:32:27 Well well what would they kind of like your boy
00:32:27 --> 00:32:30 kanye said no one man should
00:32:30 --> 00:32:34 have all that power that's crazy like what what they why does somebody need
00:32:34 --> 00:32:39 a trillion dollars well they said that in the movie malcolm x too remember when
00:32:39 --> 00:32:45 malcolm x had them people standing outside that police station and he never
00:32:45 --> 00:32:49 opened his mouth and all he did was pointed his finger and they turned around and marched away.
00:32:50 --> 00:32:55 And the cop said, no one man should have all that power then.
00:32:55 --> 00:33:03 So, yeah, we should never have one person with that kind of power. Never.
00:33:03 --> 00:33:06 You know, I mean, I call it...
00:33:07 --> 00:33:14 Drinking the kool-aid the jim jones kool-aid you know what jim jones yeah okay
00:33:14 --> 00:33:20 saying because that's that's basically what they would have us doing is drinking
00:33:20 --> 00:33:25 the kool-aid again you know and i'm not drinking no kool-aid i haven't drank
00:33:25 --> 00:33:27 i don't want to drink kool-aid just for that reason,
00:33:28 --> 00:33:34 well understood yeah you know so but anyway enough enough of that enough of
00:33:34 --> 00:33:37 that what you got for us All right.
00:33:37 --> 00:33:40 So Dave, this was something I came across and I've been thinking this.
00:33:41 --> 00:33:45 I feel like I may have mentioned it on prior episode, possibly, but maybe not.
00:33:46 --> 00:33:52 So the founder of Blavity, who is also the founder of Afro Tech,
00:33:53 --> 00:34:00 Morgan DeBond, was she had she did a video the other day.
00:34:00 --> 00:34:06 And she was talking about some of these new AI videos that are popping up have
00:34:06 --> 00:34:13 you been seeing a bunch of AI videos lately on let's say TikTok or Instagram.
00:34:15 --> 00:34:22 What's the subject of the videos basically videos that depict black people doing
00:34:22 --> 00:34:28 what doing the stereotypical things that people would think that black people would do,
00:34:30 --> 00:34:32 Okay. Are they obviously AI or is it?
00:34:33 --> 00:34:38 Well, you know, so I think at the beginning, you know, you're not sure.
00:34:38 --> 00:34:41 And then something will happen to where you're like, hey, okay.
00:34:42 --> 00:34:47 All right. So anyway, so what she was saying was that there are a lot of these
00:34:47 --> 00:34:55 AI videos that are depicting AI videos that are depicting black women and being single mothers,
00:34:55 --> 00:34:58 wearing bonnets,
00:34:58 --> 00:35:00 talking any bonnets.
00:35:00 --> 00:35:05 Monics, men who are thinking they're rappers, you know, kind of putting those
00:35:05 --> 00:35:07 typical stereotypes out there.
00:35:08 --> 00:35:13 And her question was, who is behind these AI videos?
00:35:14 --> 00:35:18 And I only say that because, you know, there's more of them creating AI right
00:35:18 --> 00:35:22 now than we are. So who is creating these videos?
00:35:23 --> 00:35:27 Who's training them and, and what's their agenda with it.
00:35:28 --> 00:35:32 So, you know, I started searching because I saw a lot of, you know,
00:35:32 --> 00:35:35 I've seen a lot of these videos. I know exactly what she's talking about.
00:35:35 --> 00:35:41 So Dave, real quick, I'm going to run through 13 slides and I'm just going to
00:35:41 --> 00:35:44 briefly tell you what these videos are.
00:35:44 --> 00:35:47 And I just want you to tell me, you can
00:35:47 --> 00:35:50 give me a verbal thumbs up if you think it's
00:35:50 --> 00:35:53 okay or thumbs down if you
00:35:53 --> 00:35:57 think it's a little much stereotypical racist something
00:35:57 --> 00:35:59 like that okay okay all right
00:35:59 --> 00:36:03 the first one there's a lady at a car dealership
00:36:03 --> 00:36:06 she's saying she used her ebt card and
00:36:06 --> 00:36:09 her food stamps to pay for a vehicle she's a
00:36:09 --> 00:36:16 black lady thumbs up or thumbs down that's that's thumbs down okay the next
00:36:16 --> 00:36:24 one there's a black lady with a bonnet in a car dealership and the salesman
00:36:24 --> 00:36:28 is telling her he cannot sell her a car because she has a negative credit score.
00:36:29 --> 00:36:34 And her response is, oh, so you're telling me I can't get that Dodge Charger?
00:36:35 --> 00:36:39 That's thumbs down. All right. The next one, there's a guy on a cruise ship,
00:36:39 --> 00:36:42 and he says, the usual suspects on a carnival cruise.
00:36:42 --> 00:36:49 And it shows a lot of black people running with suitcases, with beer bottles, do rags.
00:36:51 --> 00:36:55 Thumbs down. The next one is a black lady driving an Altima,
00:36:56 --> 00:36:57 and she's just crashing into stuff.
00:36:58 --> 00:37:00 This one I kind of thought was funny because, you know, back in the day,
00:37:00 --> 00:37:06 there was a stereotype about black women who drive Altimas. So they drove him crazy.
00:37:06 --> 00:37:09 But regardless, thumbs down.
00:37:09 --> 00:37:14 The next one, this guy, they're trying to put him in jail because he had not
00:37:14 --> 00:37:17 paid his planet fitness bill in 22 years.
00:37:18 --> 00:37:24 Right. The next one, right. The next one, it shows a ghetto looking black girl
00:37:24 --> 00:37:29 hanging out of an airplane called Ghetto Airlines.
00:37:30 --> 00:37:34 And she said, watch out. We're going to bounce this thing down on the ground.
00:37:35 --> 00:37:37 Wow. Thumbs down.
00:37:37 --> 00:37:41 The next one is two old ladies talking about men.
00:37:41 --> 00:37:47 And the one says, can't no light-skinned man do nothing for me except be one of my girlfriends?
00:37:49 --> 00:37:55 Wow. Thumbs down. Yeah. The next one shows a black lady with a hairnet trying
00:37:55 --> 00:37:59 to start up a Nissan Altima with a fork. And she said, look, I did it.
00:37:59 --> 00:38:05 Stainless steel, baby. And then she crashes into a some type of doctor's office.
00:38:07 --> 00:38:12 Thumbs down. The next one, we got four more. The next one, there's three black
00:38:12 --> 00:38:15 girls with bonnets and skimpy clothes dancing.
00:38:15 --> 00:38:21 And a monkey with a do-rag comes up and pulls one of the weaves off of one of
00:38:21 --> 00:38:23 the black girls dancing.
00:38:23 --> 00:38:26 Oh, and I'm sorry, he's holding up, the monkey is holding up auto-pennessey.
00:38:27 --> 00:38:32 The fact that there's a monkey in this video, definitely two thumbs down on that.
00:38:33 --> 00:38:40 The next one, this guy, a black guy on stage in a suit He is saying he has found
00:38:40 --> 00:38:46 a cure for the beeping smoke detector, and he holds up a battery, right?
00:38:47 --> 00:38:53 And the screen pans around to the audience, and it's a bunch of chimpanzees
00:38:53 --> 00:38:56 jumping up and down in the audience. Wow.
00:38:57 --> 00:39:03 Thumbs down. The next one, two black men come into a dealership,
00:39:03 --> 00:39:09 and they ask if they can trade their bucket of chicken for a Dodge Charger.
00:39:14 --> 00:39:19 The second to last one, it shows something simulating one of Mr.
00:39:19 --> 00:39:24 Beast's games, and it shows a giant bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
00:39:24 --> 00:39:27 And they have said shows about six black
00:39:27 --> 00:39:30 men with both hands on the the giant bucket
00:39:30 --> 00:39:34 and the challenge is the last man standing
00:39:34 --> 00:39:40 who still has both hands on the the bucket of chicken wins a dodge charger the
00:39:40 --> 00:39:45 buck and all these are videos they don't don't worry i'm i'm gonna send them
00:39:45 --> 00:39:49 to you after you know i should have sent it to you before one well now well
00:39:49 --> 00:39:52 i'll send them to you Now,
00:39:52 --> 00:39:55 let me ask the question. Is the same person doing all these videos?
00:39:55 --> 00:39:59 No, I found these on different sites, different pages.
00:39:59 --> 00:40:03 You know, some of them follow a little bit of a theme, but, you know,
00:40:03 --> 00:40:05 a lot of them are just stereotypical.
00:40:05 --> 00:40:10 And when I went to one of the pages, I could tell the creator wasn't black.
00:40:10 --> 00:40:13 And you just started raining hard here.
00:40:13 --> 00:40:17 Let me tell you what it made me think of. Imagine this.
00:40:18 --> 00:40:20 Imagine going to a comedy show, right?
00:40:21 --> 00:40:25 And, you know, you don't know who the comedians are. You close your eyes.
00:40:26 --> 00:40:30 There's a guy who gets up telling jokes and he says the word,
00:40:30 --> 00:40:33 the N word, two or three times. Right.
00:40:33 --> 00:40:38 You open your eyes. It's a black guy. How do you feel about that? Sure.
00:40:41 --> 00:40:46 I'm sorry. Don't, don't think too hard. Just like the rest of the stuff that
00:40:46 --> 00:40:50 we've been talking about is the same. It's on the same level. Yeah.
00:40:50 --> 00:40:54 Now imagine you open your eyes and it's a white guy. How do you feel?
00:40:55 --> 00:40:58 All of a sudden the dynamics change.
00:40:58 --> 00:41:03 Right. You know, you know, you know, that's, that's, that's where we are.
00:41:03 --> 00:41:08 That's how we are. You know, we, it's acceptable for certain people.
00:41:08 --> 00:41:11 You know what I mean yeah so you
00:41:11 --> 00:41:14 know that's why I say these AI videos if I
00:41:14 --> 00:41:17 if I know a black person's creating them I may
00:41:17 --> 00:41:21 feel a little better but I'm sure
00:41:21 --> 00:41:25 white people are creating a lot of them and that's why it makes me feel a certain
00:41:25 --> 00:41:32 way so but you know well you know I mean first of all these AI videos have become
00:41:32 --> 00:41:38 so intricate you know yeah I always I always laugh and you know,
00:41:39 --> 00:41:43 So you and I have talked about AI so much over the years.
00:41:44 --> 00:41:51 But when you look at this, this whole AI thing, you know how you go to Instagram or TikTok and,
00:41:51 --> 00:41:55 you know, there's a beautiful woman and, you know, normally,
00:41:55 --> 00:41:58 especially when they do it with an older female,
00:41:58 --> 00:42:03 you know, and, you know, you can tell she's older, you know,
00:42:03 --> 00:42:08 looking at her face or whatever, but her body looks like somebody 30 years old
00:42:08 --> 00:42:10 or something like that or 20 years old, right?
00:42:12 --> 00:42:14 And I automatically started laughing because I
00:42:14 --> 00:42:18 already know the deal because and you know for people
00:42:18 --> 00:42:21 that know what to look at look for for what AI there's
00:42:21 --> 00:42:24 certain things that you look for to see that kind of
00:42:24 --> 00:42:28 give away whether they're AI or not and when you look at these when you look
00:42:28 --> 00:42:32 at these pictures and whatever usually they're hiding those things if they can
00:42:32 --> 00:42:38 so you can't tell their AI I go to the comments Leonard and I just started cracking
00:42:38 --> 00:42:42 up with some of the stuff that's in the comments because they don't know what
00:42:42 --> 00:42:44 they're looking at, you know?
00:42:45 --> 00:42:49 And the same thing with all these videos and stuff that you're talking about.
00:42:49 --> 00:42:53 You know, it's really a scary time right now.
00:42:54 --> 00:42:58 And, you know, it's even more scary for, you know, what's even more scary for Leonard?
00:42:59 --> 00:43:04 Older people. Oh, yeah. No, I'm sure. You know, I mean, I'm 65.
00:43:05 --> 00:43:08 I don't mind telling my age. I know. I knew you were going to do that.
00:43:08 --> 00:43:15 I'm 65 and I don't mind telling Mike I know, I know He loves to do that every time I say it Anyway,
00:43:16 --> 00:43:19 But I pride myself on You
00:43:19 --> 00:43:22 know Kind of being up on a lot of
00:43:22 --> 00:43:25 stuff You know what I mean So the scams
00:43:25 --> 00:43:30 All the different things that are out there right now You know I kind of know
00:43:30 --> 00:43:36 To kind of scrutinize things before I leap or Get involved or whatever because
00:43:36 --> 00:43:42 right now there's so many different ways that people can take you, you know what I mean?
00:43:43 --> 00:43:46 And this AI stuff right now.
00:43:47 --> 00:43:51 It's scary, Leonard. Yeah, it is. And Dave, I hear you talking about you can kind of tell.
00:43:52 --> 00:43:56 I'll put it like this. It's getting better and better. And it's going to be
00:43:56 --> 00:43:58 harder and harder to tell.
00:43:59 --> 00:44:04 Yeah, yeah, it is. It is. It's just like when you sent me the thing,
00:44:04 --> 00:44:08 you know, you mentioned it last week, and you talked about the Bible stories,
00:44:08 --> 00:44:12 the videos, the movies, and so forth.
00:44:12 --> 00:44:15 If you're just a
00:44:15 --> 00:44:18 person just flicking through your phone that doesn't
00:44:18 --> 00:44:21 look like it's AI it does I mean
00:44:21 --> 00:44:24 yeah it doesn't look like it's AI
00:44:24 --> 00:44:32 and you look like something that was truly put together like real people but
00:44:32 --> 00:44:43 this is where we are now you know the movies as far as Hollywood and all the other movie studios,
00:44:44 --> 00:44:46 places that do movies and so forth,
00:44:47 --> 00:44:52 CGI has been their way for a long time with a lot of these action movies and,
00:44:52 --> 00:44:56 you know, so forth, and, you know, spy and thrillers and so forth,
00:44:57 --> 00:45:02 CGI, even with the, like, we got a new Jurassic Park movie that already come out.
00:45:03 --> 00:45:09 CGI has been, like, the AI prior to AI. You know what I mean?
00:45:09 --> 00:45:15 Mm-hmm. But just think, I read somewhere that A.I. is going to take over Hollywood.
00:45:15 --> 00:45:18 Take over what? Hollywood. No, no, Dave.
00:45:19 --> 00:45:23 When I was looking at some of these videos, if they were a movie,
00:45:23 --> 00:45:23 people would watch them.
00:45:24 --> 00:45:32 Yeah. And think of how quickly and cheaply A.I. would create these things.
00:45:32 --> 00:45:35 Yes. they look they make a million
00:45:35 --> 00:45:38 they make a movie for less than a million dollars in the
00:45:38 --> 00:45:41 ai form you know creating all the characters
00:45:41 --> 00:45:44 maybe having one real live character in the movie you
00:45:44 --> 00:45:48 know and then everybody else be fake ai generated
00:45:48 --> 00:45:52 and it costs less than a million dollars to make and
00:45:52 --> 00:45:59 that movie goes on to make 600 700 800 million dollars man that's a come up
00:45:59 --> 00:46:04 yeah and you know it's almost and we won't even talk about music remember we
00:46:04 --> 00:46:08 talked about creating a song through those programs look.
00:46:10 --> 00:46:15 That same guy I was telling you about that created the theme song for the guy on WIP,
00:46:16 --> 00:46:21 he's done two other songs for two other hosts on that channel and they're trying
00:46:21 --> 00:46:25 to pick which song they like the best man they sound like full produced songs
00:46:25 --> 00:46:31 man you know and you know right now a lot of the performers and, you know,
00:46:31 --> 00:46:37 the producers and so forth that do music and everything, they're really,
00:46:37 --> 00:46:40 really worried right now because, you know, they're about to become a stink.
00:46:41 --> 00:46:46 In fact, Dave, let me try to sign in to my, because you remember I said they
00:46:46 --> 00:46:48 made a song for the camp round?
00:46:49 --> 00:46:51 Oh, yeah, yeah, that's right. You did tell me that. Yeah.
00:46:52 --> 00:46:58 Now, who did it? So it's an AI program called Suno.com.
00:46:59 --> 00:47:00 S-U-N-O.
00:47:00 --> 00:47:04 Who put it in there? I did.
00:47:05 --> 00:47:09 Basically, yeah. I said, and of course it's not loading now,
00:47:09 --> 00:47:15 but I said, create a country music song and mention GNR Campground.
00:47:16 --> 00:47:22 And of course, it don't want to load up right now. So whenever it loads up,
00:47:22 --> 00:47:25 I'll come back and I'll play it.
00:47:25 --> 00:47:31 Man, we might have to do, hopefully our favorite DJs are listening.
00:47:32 --> 00:47:34 We might have to do a Dudes and the Trends one, man.
00:47:36 --> 00:47:41 Oh, there you go. One for the podcast. Yeah, there you go. There you go.
00:47:41 --> 00:47:43 Okay, I have no idea why this is not loading.
00:47:45 --> 00:47:49 All right, well, let me know if it comes up. That's too funny.
00:47:50 --> 00:47:57 But this AI stuff, man, ain't no joke. It's a great takeover. It really is.
00:47:59 --> 00:48:02 But yeah, I'm going to look at some of those videos that you were talking about.
00:48:02 --> 00:48:06 But I can't think of any right now. And I might have seen them.
00:48:06 --> 00:48:10 Just probably didn't pay that deep attention to it. You know what I mean?
00:48:10 --> 00:48:13 Mm-hmm. Yeah. So, okay. All right.
00:48:14 --> 00:48:18 I'm going to do this next story while you're doing that at the moment.
00:48:20 --> 00:48:26 This story is titled, Meet the Siblings Running Against Each Other for the Florida State Senate Seat.
00:48:27 --> 00:48:35 Siblings Randolph Bracey and LaVon Bracey Davis are competing against each other
00:48:35 --> 00:48:41 in Florida in a special primary election for the state Senate seat once held by Geraldine Thompson.
00:48:42 --> 00:48:48 Both had political experience and come from a family deeply rooted in public
00:48:48 --> 00:48:49 service and civil rights activism.
00:48:50 --> 00:48:54 The seat became vacant after Thompson died earlier this year.
00:48:55 --> 00:49:00 She was not just a political figure, but also a close family friend.
00:49:01 --> 00:49:06 Their mother, LaVon Wright Bracey, a well-known civil rights activist,
00:49:06 --> 00:49:10 was the maid of honor at Thompson's wedding.
00:49:11 --> 00:49:16 Randolph Bracey is a former state senator, while LaVon Bracey Davis most recently
00:49:16 --> 00:49:18 served as a state representative.
00:49:19 --> 00:49:24 Their father, Randolph Bracey Jr., once led the local N.A.
00:49:24 --> 00:49:33 Excuse me, NAACP co-founded a Baptist church in Orlando and taught at Bethune-Cookman University.
00:49:34 --> 00:49:40 According to the associate press, this is the first time politics that this
00:49:40 --> 00:49:43 is not the first time politics has come between the siblings.
00:49:43 --> 00:49:50 In last year's democratic primary for the same seat, Bracey Davis endorsed Geraldine
00:49:50 --> 00:49:51 Thompson over her brother.
00:49:52 --> 00:49:58 Now they're competing head to head. The winner of the Democratic primary will
00:49:58 --> 00:50:04 go up against Republican Willie Montague in the general election.
00:50:04 --> 00:50:09 The district is heavily Democrat, with black voters making up for more than
00:50:09 --> 00:50:16 half of its registered Democrats, making this outcome of the primary especially important. Now.
00:50:18 --> 00:50:22 I guess I'm reading in between the lines of this story. But doesn't it seem
00:50:22 --> 00:50:23 like there's something going on?
00:50:24 --> 00:50:30 Yeah, I mean, it's just weird. Yeah, I mean, you know, you're running against your sibling.
00:50:32 --> 00:50:36 One didn't support the sibling for their run last year.
00:50:37 --> 00:50:41 And the seat is for the the seat
00:50:41 --> 00:50:46 is for a seat that of their mother's
00:50:46 --> 00:50:55 best friend who passed away and i mean are these two not close i don't know
00:50:55 --> 00:50:58 if i can run against my brother would you run against your brother for a senate
00:50:58 --> 00:51:02 seat if you knew that he truly wanted to have that seat,
00:51:02 --> 00:51:05 I feel like we could do better teaming up like
00:51:05 --> 00:51:08 hey I'm going to run for this position you know like we're going
00:51:08 --> 00:51:11 to run on the same ticket you know I'm going to tell
00:51:11 --> 00:51:14 all my people vote I mean but just like one
00:51:14 --> 00:51:19 on one nah that sounds like a lot yeah you definitely you're splitting the vote
00:51:19 --> 00:51:26 and hopefully there's no other candidates you know I mean if these are the final
00:51:26 --> 00:51:30 two candidates that's one day but hopefully it's not any other people that are
00:51:30 --> 00:51:33 also in that race, because they're going to split the vote.
00:51:34 --> 00:51:39 Yeah. Yeah. You know, I wonder why they're doing this.
00:51:39 --> 00:51:46 I mean, I'm sure their family members have probably said, why run against each other?
00:51:46 --> 00:51:51 Why not one push the other one out front and work with that person?
00:51:52 --> 00:51:58 So is this something just, I mean, are they both wanting the prestige or is
00:51:58 --> 00:52:02 this ego? So, I mean, something seems to be a footier. I don't get it.
00:52:03 --> 00:52:07 I mean, it's one thing to run against them or run with them.
00:52:07 --> 00:52:12 If there was two seats open, yeah, and both of them were running, that's one thing.
00:52:12 --> 00:52:16 But to run against them for the same seat, you know, you running against your
00:52:16 --> 00:52:20 sister or your sister's running against you, I don't get it.
00:52:20 --> 00:52:24 So, you know, I wonder, have they always been like that?
00:52:24 --> 00:52:29 Are they, you know, are they competing for that moment? Are they competing for
00:52:29 --> 00:52:32 their mama's love? Yeah, it seems like something's going on there.
00:52:32 --> 00:52:37 Obviously, because she didn't support him in his run last year. Yeah.
00:52:38 --> 00:52:41 And, you know, and then you're going to jump on the ticket this year?
00:52:42 --> 00:52:45 Yeah, there's definitely something going on there. Yeah.
00:52:46 --> 00:52:50 You know, and then what happens when, if one of them does win the seat,
00:52:51 --> 00:52:53 does the other one just walk away?
00:52:53 --> 00:52:56 Do they help him? you know are they
00:52:56 --> 00:53:01 still brother and sister afterwards i mean come on no they they they they're
00:53:01 --> 00:53:09 walking away i feel it yeah yeah well you know it's it's the same and yes they
00:53:09 --> 00:53:15 are black folks you know it's a shame that we see something like this.
00:53:17 --> 00:53:22 Need to, I would think they would need to be more supportive of each other than
00:53:22 --> 00:53:27 to do this because, you know, that's interesting to me.
00:53:27 --> 00:53:31 I don't think I've ever seen that or heard of it before.
00:53:32 --> 00:53:36 Now that I think of it, I, you know, I don't know. I never heard of some running
00:53:36 --> 00:53:37 against each other, you know?
00:53:37 --> 00:53:41 In fact, Dave, you know, this sounds like something you would do in high school,
00:53:41 --> 00:53:46 not in the Florida Senate race. Yeah, I mean, you know, if you're running for
00:53:46 --> 00:53:52 class president or student council president or whatever, that's one thing.
00:53:52 --> 00:54:00 But for a Senate seat, and you think this is a good thing to do this?
00:54:01 --> 00:54:04 I wonder, I mean, I guess the mother's still living.
00:54:05 --> 00:54:13 So if the mother's still living, then... I feel like I heard that she put in
00:54:13 --> 00:54:17 her endorsement for one of them, but I'm not positive.
00:54:19 --> 00:54:24 That's interesting. I saw that story and I said, well, you know,
00:54:24 --> 00:54:25 talk about sibling rivalries.
00:54:26 --> 00:54:29 This takes it to a whole new level right here.
00:54:31 --> 00:54:36 But good luck to whoever wins that seat, if it's one of them,
00:54:36 --> 00:54:42 and hopefully it doesn't split the family apart and they're able to work together for the future.
00:54:42 --> 00:54:45 But I saw that story and I just had to mention it.
00:54:46 --> 00:54:51 So I just wanted to bring it up. Do you have any further comments about it? No, that's it.
00:54:52 --> 00:54:54 Okay. All right. Okay.
00:54:55 --> 00:54:59 All right. Were you able to find the videos or be able to get it uploaded?
00:55:00 --> 00:55:05 The one that you were talking about? It's acting very weird. I mean, the music song?
00:55:07 --> 00:55:12 First of all, it's not even loading all the way. And I think I logged in on a wrong account.
00:55:13 --> 00:55:18 So, oh well. Is it something you're thinking about using?
00:55:18 --> 00:55:22 I mean, yes and no. Only because, I mean, I probably did it like a year ago.
00:55:23 --> 00:55:26 So, damn, this rain coming down hard here.
00:55:28 --> 00:55:30 I probably did it like a year ago. I haven't done anything with it.
00:55:31 --> 00:55:35 So, you know, it's probably not like I was going to.
00:55:35 --> 00:55:38 But now I don't know how to log out. Jesus.
00:55:42 --> 00:55:47 You probably need your AI self to be able to get in there and log out. There you go.
00:55:48 --> 00:55:51 So he's over here making noises and so forth. Okay.
00:55:53 --> 00:55:54 All right.
00:55:56 --> 00:56:00 It's good to tell y'all that brings us to Leonard's favorite part of the show.
00:56:00 --> 00:56:02 Yes. No, Dave, that's right.
00:56:05 --> 00:56:09 Finally, we're going to bring you into Leonard's Lounge. Okay?
00:56:10 --> 00:56:14 Sit back. Okay, guys. Kick your feet up. It's temporary.
00:56:14 --> 00:56:19 That's all. Keep your feet up. Keep your feet up, sir. Keep your feet up. All right. Yeah.
00:56:20 --> 00:56:25 I promise you Dave's Corner will be back next week, people. Okay? Maybe. Maybe.
00:56:27 --> 00:56:34 Okay. I'm a victim in Leonard's Lounge. Okay. Let's go with it. Okay.
00:56:35 --> 00:56:39 All right. So Dave, over the last couple of years, and I say 10,
00:56:39 --> 00:56:44 20, 30 years, people have been leaving their house less.
00:56:44 --> 00:56:48 So before people used to leave their house to go out to eat.
00:56:48 --> 00:56:52 Now we have DoorDash, Uber Eats, the food comes to you.
00:56:53 --> 00:56:55 People used to leave their house to go to the movies.
00:56:56 --> 00:57:01 Now, you know, you can watch movies at home, you know, that comes to you.
00:57:02 --> 00:57:04 People used to leave their house to date.
00:57:05 --> 00:57:10 Now, you know, online dating, you can darn near have Zoom dates and stuff like that.
00:57:11 --> 00:57:15 In the next 10 years or in the foreseeable future,
00:57:15 --> 00:57:22 what are three more things that you think people will not have to leave their
00:57:22 --> 00:57:27 house for anymore, or will have the option not to leave the house for?
00:57:27 --> 00:57:29 Well, can I say going to work?
00:57:31 --> 00:57:40 Okay, yeah. I mean, whereas it's listed as an alternative work schedule for people now,
00:57:40 --> 00:57:47 it might become something that might be recognized by all companies in the future,
00:57:47 --> 00:57:52 you know, that you don't have to come into the office, that you can work from home on a regular basis.
00:57:53 --> 00:57:55 So I'll say that's one thing.
00:57:56 --> 00:57:57 Ordering a drink.
00:57:59 --> 00:58:02 Where you would go to a bar and, you know, get a drink or whatever.
00:58:03 --> 00:58:06 You can have the drinks come to you. You don't have to leave.
00:58:06 --> 00:58:13 Say you plan a date with your significant other and you want a bottle of champagne
00:58:13 --> 00:58:17 or you want some mixed drinks or something done.
00:58:17 --> 00:58:24 You can call, you know, get on your app and pick out what you want and the drinks will come to you.
00:58:24 --> 00:58:28 Okay. So that's two. My last thing.
00:58:29 --> 00:58:35 Banking at home. Say you needed money and you needed cash money.
00:58:35 --> 00:58:40 A lot of times you have to, you know, to get cash money, you still have to go
00:58:40 --> 00:58:45 out the house to get cash money in most cases to an ATM, to a bank.
00:58:45 --> 00:58:55 Well, you can have a service where there's a computer set up where Or you punch
00:58:55 --> 00:59:00 in numbers, you know, like you would do going to your bank account.
00:59:00 --> 00:59:04 You wanted to withdraw some cash money.
00:59:05 --> 00:59:07 You go in and say how much you want to withdraw.
00:59:08 --> 00:59:15 There's this system that will put the money into a lock, a little lock box or whatever.
00:59:15 --> 00:59:20 You have a courier that will pick it up, a courier that will pick it up for you.
00:59:21 --> 00:59:26 It's sealed, it's locked and bring it to your home and you don't have to leave
00:59:26 --> 00:59:29 the house okay interesting.
00:59:31 --> 00:59:38 So those are the ring right there. Okay. So Dave, when I thought about it, I was thinking doctors.
00:59:38 --> 00:59:43 You know, I could see us kind of going back to a regular time when doctors made house calls.
00:59:44 --> 00:59:47 Where, you know, they would come to your house to do, you know,
00:59:47 --> 00:59:50 physical, you know, of course not surgeries. But maybe.
00:59:51 --> 00:59:55 But, you know, definitely physicals and checkups and stuff like that. So that was my one.
00:59:57 --> 01:00:00 And I'm going to get a little high tech on this one. Okay.
01:00:02 --> 01:00:08 Vacations, virtual vacations. And basically what I was thinking was,
01:00:08 --> 01:00:15 you know, kind of like how we'll play games, you know, put us in alternate realities, realities.
01:00:16 --> 01:00:20 But imagine if we could do something like that with a vacation where,
01:00:21 --> 01:00:26 whether it was something where we kind of fall asleep and we're visualizing,
01:00:26 --> 01:00:29 we're hearing noises and it kind of prompts us to dream about stuff,
01:00:29 --> 01:00:34 But just something that kind of puts that mind over body experience and have
01:00:34 --> 01:00:36 us actually experience a vacation.
01:00:37 --> 01:00:41 Okay. And that would come to you, right?
01:00:42 --> 01:00:46 Yes. In your home? In your home, right? Yeah. So that's something you could do in your house.
01:00:46 --> 01:00:52 Okay. And then the last one, and I almost can't believe we're not there yet, but I understand.
01:00:54 --> 01:00:57 Homeschooling. Now, of course, you know, we have homeschooling,
01:00:57 --> 01:00:59 but I'm talking about mass homeschooling.
01:00:59 --> 01:01:03 Because we know these schools are getting worse and worse unless you're paying money.
01:01:04 --> 01:01:10 But, you know, just a little more standard where, you know, the virtual learning
01:01:10 --> 01:01:14 is not just for college kids, it's for high school kids, too.
01:01:14 --> 01:01:17 Maybe middle school. Okay.
01:01:19 --> 01:01:22 Yep. So, and that would be all kids then?
01:01:23 --> 01:01:26 Huh? That would be all kids you're talking about? I mean, you know,
01:01:26 --> 01:01:32 I think none of these would be everybody, but it would be a lot more of the regular.
01:01:32 --> 01:01:34 And I know people homeschool now.
01:01:34 --> 01:01:39 It's probably, if I had to guess, I'd probably guess less than 10%.
01:01:39 --> 01:01:44 But, you know, I'm thinking that, you know, it may actually reach 20,
01:01:44 --> 01:01:50 30, 40%. Yeah, it's pretty regular now. There's a lot of people doing it now.
01:01:50 --> 01:01:56 I told you I did it with my oldest son, and it was almost like a secret society back then.
01:01:56 --> 01:02:07 You had to do a few different things and be connected to a group or a school
01:02:07 --> 01:02:11 that was basically a set-up school that you were tied to.
01:02:11 --> 01:02:17 I mean, it was a lot of, it was interesting what we had to do in order to homeschool him.
01:02:17 --> 01:02:19 And we did it for like three years. We homeschooled him.
01:02:21 --> 01:02:25 And, you know, but there was a lot of rules and regulations that we had to follow
01:02:25 --> 01:02:32 in order to be in compliance of what the homeschooling laws were back then. Oh, yeah, I'm sure.
01:02:32 --> 01:02:37 Yeah, yeah. So, but it was like a secret society of people that,
01:02:37 --> 01:02:38 you know, that's what we were.
01:02:38 --> 01:02:42 I used to always kid my ex about it. I used to say, you know,
01:02:42 --> 01:02:45 we're part of a secret society, right? So you start laughing, you know.
01:02:48 --> 01:02:52 All right. Well, Dave, is this the same secret society that P.
01:02:52 --> 01:02:53 Diddy and R. Kelly were part of?
01:02:53 --> 01:02:56 No, no, no, no, no, no. Kind of secret society.
01:02:58 --> 01:03:03 Matter of fact, speaking of P. Diddy, did they read the verdict yet?
01:03:03 --> 01:03:11 I don't think so. I saw something that said today was day one of that. So I'm not sure.
01:03:12 --> 01:03:16 I thought I saw something that they had come to some type of decision. Okay.
01:03:18 --> 01:03:24 Well, okay. I was just wondering, you know, because they're talking about that.
01:03:24 --> 01:03:27 He's probably going to walk out of that courtroom. You think so? A free man?
01:03:28 --> 01:03:30 Or a house arrest or something?
01:03:31 --> 01:03:35 Yeah. I think that whatever charges they're going to stick are going to be bogus,
01:03:35 --> 01:03:39 you know, like little things. You know, I don't think it's going to be...
01:03:40 --> 01:03:44 I'll be shocked if he gets jail time. I mean, a lot of jail time. Oh, wow.
01:03:44 --> 01:03:50 But I don't think they can make the RICO charges stick the way they were trying to. Mm-hmm.
01:03:50 --> 01:03:55 And those were the ones that... That was what they were really trying to get them on, the RICO stuff.
01:03:56 --> 01:04:01 Well, Dave, unfortunately, those Rico things ain't stick because he slipped out like baby oil, huh?
01:04:02 --> 01:04:04 Ah, you just couldn't wait to use that.
01:04:07 --> 01:04:12 He slipped through those things, Dave. Yeah, well, I guess he slipped through the cracks.
01:04:15 --> 01:04:21 You know, so in more ways than one. I just think that we need to. We need to.
01:04:24 --> 01:04:26 It's your fault I said that. Anyway, Right.
01:04:27 --> 01:04:31 It's going to be interesting. I'm sure this is almost like the OJ trial.
01:04:31 --> 01:04:34 You know, wait to see what they're going to say. You know, so.
01:04:35 --> 01:04:38 No, Dave, it's not like the OJ because I can guarantee.
01:04:38 --> 01:04:42 Oh, hold on. Okay, never mind, never mind. Yeah, let it go. Let it go.
01:04:42 --> 01:04:44 Let it go. Okay, there you go.
01:04:45 --> 01:04:49 But, okay, are we finished with Leonard's Lounge, by the way?
01:04:50 --> 01:04:54 Yes, Dave, Leonard's Lounge is officially over. The lounge is closed.
01:04:55 --> 01:04:57 You don't got to go home, but you got to get out of here.
01:04:57 --> 01:05:00 I'm going to order one of those drinks I was talking about from Leonard's Lounge. Okay.
01:05:01 --> 01:05:04 You got anything good over there? Yeah, Dave. All the drinks are alcohol.
01:05:05 --> 01:05:10 I don't have alcohol. All right. Well, I can't get a virgin pina colada or something
01:05:10 --> 01:05:12 like that, you know? Nope.
01:05:13 --> 01:05:18 Okay. All right. Dave, how dare you come to Leonard's Lounge and order a nine-hour?
01:05:20 --> 01:05:25 Yeah. I know. Yeah. Well, first of all, I wouldn't come there to Leonard's Lounge.
01:05:25 --> 01:05:30 I would be ordering at my home to have Leonard's Lounge draw something off to
01:05:30 --> 01:05:32 me. That's what I would be doing.
01:05:33 --> 01:05:38 Oh, okay. All right. All right. Yeah. I would have to call Liquor Dash.
01:05:38 --> 01:05:42 That's what it, Liquor Dash, you know, instead of Door Dash, it would be Liquor Dash.
01:05:43 --> 01:05:47 There you go. Yeah. So I just want to give a shout out to the city of Philadelphia.
01:05:47 --> 01:05:51 They just got awarded a WNBA franchise.
01:05:51 --> 01:05:55 Oh, did they? Yes, they did. It's been a long time coming.
01:05:55 --> 01:05:59 They used to have a pro basketball franchise there years ago,
01:05:59 --> 01:06:02 but now they're bringing one back.
01:06:02 --> 01:06:06 The only thing is it's not going to be to the year 2030 that they officially
01:06:06 --> 01:06:08 start. Oh God. All right.
01:06:08 --> 01:06:14 Yeah. Yeah. Do they have a name? No, they're trying to figure out the name now.
01:06:14 --> 01:06:17 They're trying to figure out the name. But the, but they announced it yesterday.
01:06:18 --> 01:06:22 So that's great news because that's, they've been, you know,
01:06:22 --> 01:06:27 They've been waiting for a long time to get a team in Philadelphia. So...
01:06:28 --> 01:06:32 So the announcement came, and so the city is really excited.
01:06:32 --> 01:06:35 A lot of people were very excited about that.
01:06:35 --> 01:06:39 So now they just got to name the team and, of course, you know.
01:06:41 --> 01:06:44 Figure out where they're going to play and all of that stuff.
01:06:45 --> 01:06:48 So they don't know if they're going to build the stadium or not for them.
01:06:48 --> 01:06:51 A thought just came to my mind. What's that?
01:06:52 --> 01:06:57 So you remember when our mayor of Wilmington, John Carney,
01:06:58 --> 01:07:04 had posted about the Sixers coming to Wilmington when, you know,
01:07:04 --> 01:07:08 when the Sixers were trying to determine where they were going to play at for
01:07:08 --> 01:07:09 the next couple of years.
01:07:09 --> 01:07:12 And they were back and forth between Jersey and Philly.
01:07:12 --> 01:07:16 And he made a statement about them coming to Delaware.
01:07:17 --> 01:07:20 And, you know, of course, we know they ended up exactly where they were.
01:07:20 --> 01:07:27 Wouldn't it be a great idea to try to bring the women's best the Philadelphia WNBA team to Delaware?
01:07:28 --> 01:07:33 That would be really cool. I think it would be. I mean, they brought the.
01:07:37 --> 01:07:41 Blue Rocks here. We got the Blue Rocks.
01:07:41 --> 01:07:45 When they first came here, we won quite a few championships as
01:07:45 --> 01:07:51 far as minor league baseball then they bought the the blue coats here and you
01:07:51 --> 01:07:58 know the nba's g league team who's also won won a championship as well so we've
01:07:58 --> 01:08:02 been kind of a good luck place for teams to land so,
01:08:03 --> 01:08:08 it would be nice if this was their home base it really would be and you know
01:08:08 --> 01:08:14 my thought is too so you know of course and i mean even though the wnba is rising
01:08:14 --> 01:08:19 in attendance but you know So I feel like Delaware would be a great starter
01:08:19 --> 01:08:22 point and at least give us the opportunity.
01:08:22 --> 01:08:27 And maybe when they rise over a certain capacity, okay, now they move to Philadelphia,
01:08:27 --> 01:08:29 a bigger stadium, better parking.
01:08:30 --> 01:08:36 But, you know, we can probably handle what we would think they would be starting with, possibly.
01:08:37 --> 01:08:41 Yeah, we would just have to find a stadium big enough.
01:08:41 --> 01:08:53 Because I've been to games down in D.C., The Washington Mystics play in Eastern D.C., East D.C. area.
01:08:54 --> 01:09:01 I've been there a few times to the stadium. Very nice. I think it holds about 7 or 8 people.
01:09:03 --> 01:09:09 It's in a revitalization area where they just—it was right in the middle of
01:09:09 --> 01:09:11 a neighborhood and so forth,
01:09:11 --> 01:09:19 but they just did the whole revitalization thing, so they got condos and everything
01:09:19 --> 01:09:22 there now and so forth. But the stadium is beautiful.
01:09:22 --> 01:09:27 It's in a very nice area, and their attendance does very well there.
01:09:27 --> 01:09:30 I can see Delaware doing something like that. Yeah. You know?
01:09:30 --> 01:09:33 I can see Delaware doing something like that.
01:09:34 --> 01:09:41 But I'm sure, but see, the good thing for Philadelphia is that they got that
01:09:41 --> 01:09:44 complex there. They got everything right there, you know?
01:09:45 --> 01:09:50 I guess, you know, they would have to, I don't know if they would build a stadium.
01:09:51 --> 01:09:55 Well, first of all, I think they're supposed to be building a new 76ers stadium,
01:09:56 --> 01:09:58 but that's supposed to take almost 10 years to do.
01:09:59 --> 01:10:04 I don't know if they could build a stadium within five years and get it up within five years.
01:10:04 --> 01:10:07 You know, those things take a little bit of time with the permits and everything.
01:10:08 --> 01:10:15 Unless they have something nearby that's already, you know, equipped for people to play in.
01:10:16 --> 01:10:21 Right. I don't think they would do it in the Wells Fargo Center because,
01:10:21 --> 01:10:26 you know, that stadium is probably too big of a stadium for them.
01:10:26 --> 01:10:28 They want the numbers to look good.
01:10:28 --> 01:10:36 They don't want to have them come into a new stadium and have it look empty
01:10:36 --> 01:10:39 in there, you know what I mean, when it's on TV or whatever.
01:10:40 --> 01:10:44 But I'm telling you, they're making money with these teams.
01:10:45 --> 01:10:53 The top, the number one franchise in the WNBA right now is the brand new team
01:10:53 --> 01:10:55 that just came in this year, Golden State Valkyries.
01:10:55 --> 01:11:00 They've worked on close to $500 million already. Wow.
01:11:01 --> 01:11:07 Yeah, already. I mean, and number one was New York up until this new team started.
01:11:07 --> 01:11:13 So as the new teams come in, and they got three or four new teams between now
01:11:13 --> 01:11:19 and the time that the Philadelphia team starts playing, and all of them are going to make money.
01:11:19 --> 01:11:23 I mean, because right now the WNBA is doing very well right now.
01:11:23 --> 01:11:28 So I guess we'll have to be on the lookout for that and see what they're going
01:11:28 --> 01:11:31 to name the teams and whatever. They're going to have a big,
01:11:31 --> 01:11:35 you know, they're supposed to have the public help with naming the team, I think.
