00:00:43 --> 00:00:44 Combmes from

00:00:44 --> 00:00:48 2021 to 2024.

00:00:51 --> 00:00:53 asked Jane who she was in a relationship

00:00:53 --> 00:00:56 with around that time. She said she

00:00:56 --> 00:01:02 called Combmes Sha Baby Ernie Snookhams.

00:01:02 --> 00:01:04 She said they called each other Bert and

00:01:04 --> 00:01:06 Ernie like the characters from Sesame

00:01:06 --> 00:01:09 Street. Jane testified that she first

00:01:09 --> 00:01:11 met Diddy on a girls trip to Miami,

00:01:11 --> 00:01:15 Florida in 2020. She met Diddy who was

00:01:15 --> 00:01:17 romantically involved with a friend who

00:01:17 --> 00:01:20 was also on the trip at a dinner he

00:01:20 --> 00:01:23 hosted at his Miami home. Combmes paid

00:01:24 --> 00:01:26 for the trip. Jane testified. She

00:01:26 --> 00:01:29 recalled the trip lasting about 5 days

00:01:29 --> 00:01:32 and seeing Diddy on about three of them.

00:01:32 --> 00:01:34 Jane said the first night she met Diddy,

00:01:34 --> 00:01:37 he was really hospitable and funny. He

00:01:37 --> 00:01:39 was really charming, really nice, and I

00:01:39 --> 00:01:41 was already drawn to him pretty

00:01:41 --> 00:01:45 instantly. She said the group started at

00:01:45 --> 00:01:48 Diddy's Miami home and then went to

00:01:48 --> 00:01:50 party on a yacht. There was a little bit

00:01:50 --> 00:01:52 of flirting going on. Jane testified on

00:01:52 --> 00:01:54 those early

00:01:54 --> 00:01:57 encounters. Then it goes on to say, "Did

00:01:57 --> 00:01:59 he ask Jane, one of his accusers, who's

00:01:59 --> 00:02:02 using a pseudonym in in the trial, to

00:02:02 --> 00:02:05 exchange numbers as they talked at a

00:02:05 --> 00:02:08 2020 yacht party in Miami." She

00:02:08 --> 00:02:11 testified. They chose the names Bur and

00:02:11 --> 00:02:14 Ernie. Like I said, to put as each

00:02:14 --> 00:02:15 other's

00:02:15 --> 00:02:17 contact. Later that night, Jane said the

00:02:17 --> 00:02:19 group went back to Comb's home and used

00:02:19 --> 00:02:23 the pool. Jane went with Combmes to his

00:02:23 --> 00:02:26 studio to get a pink powder

00:02:26 --> 00:02:29 uh drug after one of the other girls

00:02:29 --> 00:02:32 asked for drugs. She recalled a man in

00:02:32 --> 00:02:35 the studio building gave Combmes the

00:02:35 --> 00:02:38 pink powder. Jane asked them if the drug

00:02:38 --> 00:02:40 was safe and she recalled they looked at

00:02:40 --> 00:02:43 her like, "Yeah, it's the best." Jane's

00:02:43 --> 00:02:46 group left Comb's house abruptly after

00:02:46 --> 00:02:48 that because her friend was who was

00:02:48 --> 00:02:50 seeing Combmes at the time suspected

00:02:50 --> 00:02:52 there was something going on between

00:02:52 --> 00:02:53 Jane and

00:02:53 --> 00:02:56 Combmes. Jane testified that the next

00:02:56 --> 00:02:59 day Diddy hosted a pool party for them

00:02:59 --> 00:03:01 and on their last day in Miami, they all

00:03:01 --> 00:03:03 watched a movie together. She said

00:03:03 --> 00:03:05 Combmes was texting her during the movie

00:03:06 --> 00:03:08 asking if he could take her out. She

00:03:08 --> 00:03:10 testified that she told him that they

00:03:10 --> 00:03:13 would be in touch. After Jane left

00:03:13 --> 00:03:15 Miami, she said Combmes text her and

00:03:15 --> 00:03:17 then he called her. I remember he was

00:03:18 --> 00:03:19 flirtatious. He was inviting me to

00:03:19 --> 00:03:22 Miami, she said. She said she was

00:03:22 --> 00:03:24 hesitant at first because her friend

00:03:24 --> 00:03:26 still had feelings for Combmes, but

00:03:26 --> 00:03:29 after her friend got engaged, she felt

00:03:29 --> 00:03:31 like she could consider the possibility

00:03:31 --> 00:03:34 of being with Combmes. The first Miami

00:03:34 --> 00:03:38 trip occurred in November 2020. Jane saw

00:03:38 --> 00:03:41 Diddy Combmes again in Miami in January

00:03:41 --> 00:03:43 2021. She had been planning to be in

00:03:44 --> 00:03:46 Miami for an event and Combmes offered

00:03:46 --> 00:03:49 to book her a hotel room. When Combmes

00:03:49 --> 00:03:51 walked into her hotel room on the first

00:03:52 --> 00:03:54 night of their stay in Miami, he was

00:03:54 --> 00:03:56 larger than life with a big personality

00:03:56 --> 00:03:59 and charming, Jane said. She said her

00:03:59 --> 00:04:01 first date with Comb started with dinner

00:04:01 --> 00:04:03 on her hotel balcony that night and

00:04:04 --> 00:04:07 lasted 5 days. During the first dinner,

00:04:07 --> 00:04:09 they spoke about the father of their her

00:04:09 --> 00:04:12 child, a man whom Jane said was someone

00:04:12 --> 00:04:15 Combmes didn't get along with. They also

00:04:15 --> 00:04:17 discussed how Jane dated a close friend

00:04:17 --> 00:04:19 of Combmes around

00:04:19 --> 00:04:22 2015. Combmes said he didn't care about

00:04:22 --> 00:04:24 any of that. Jane recalled that the

00:04:24 --> 00:04:27 first night was amazing and they made

00:04:27 --> 00:04:30 lots of love. They spent the next

00:04:30 --> 00:04:32 several days together getting to know

00:04:32 --> 00:04:34 each other, Jane said. She goes on to

00:04:34 --> 00:04:38 say um she was pretty head over heels

00:04:38 --> 00:04:41 after spending more time with Diddy in

00:04:41 --> 00:04:44 Miami in 2021. She and Combmes went on

00:04:44 --> 00:04:46 another trip in February of that year.

00:04:46 --> 00:04:49 She testified. I told him that my

00:04:49 --> 00:04:51 birthday was coming up and he was super

00:04:51 --> 00:04:53 excited and said we should go on an

00:04:53 --> 00:04:55 island getaway. Jane

00:04:55 --> 00:04:58 said she and Combmes went to Turks and

00:04:58 --> 00:05:00 Caos and then the Bahamas. She said his

00:05:00 --> 00:05:03 assistant KK was there along with the

00:05:03 --> 00:05:05 chef, photographer, butler, and a

00:05:05 --> 00:05:08 barber. They spent about 15 days on the

00:05:08 --> 00:05:10 trip, she said. Jane says she remembers

00:05:10 --> 00:05:13 so many lovely things about the trip and

00:05:13 --> 00:05:15 that she and Comb spent a lot of

00:05:15 --> 00:05:18 one-on-one time together. Jane

00:05:18 --> 00:05:21 testified Diddy gave her a bracelet that

00:05:22 --> 00:05:25 said love on it while on the 2021 trip.

00:05:25 --> 00:05:28 Jane and Combmes took ecstasy around 10

00:05:28 --> 00:05:31 times over the 9-day trip in Turks and

00:05:31 --> 00:05:33 Caos. She said Jane says she'd

00:05:33 --> 00:05:37 previously used drugs twice in her life.

00:05:37 --> 00:05:39 The first time Combmes gave her ecstasy,

00:05:39 --> 00:05:41 they were relaxing in the pool, she

00:05:41 --> 00:05:43 recalled, holding out the drug to her.

00:05:43 --> 00:05:46 Combmes said, "Here, take this." and

00:05:46 --> 00:05:47 said something like, "It'll be more

00:05:47 --> 00:05:50 fun," Jane recalled. Shortly after

00:05:50 --> 00:05:52 taking the ecstasy for the first time,

00:05:52 --> 00:05:54 she fell to the sand on the beach and

00:05:54 --> 00:05:57 had a reaction. "His butler and KK tried

00:05:57 --> 00:05:59 to help me," Jane said. KK is a nickname

00:06:00 --> 00:06:02 for Combmes um former chief of staff,

00:06:02 --> 00:06:06 Christina Cororum. Holmes offered Jane

00:06:06 --> 00:06:08 $10 at the end of the trip because

00:06:08 --> 00:06:10 she'd been away from her work as an

00:06:10 --> 00:06:13 influencer for so long. She testified he

00:06:13 --> 00:06:16 wired her $10, which Jane testified

00:06:16 --> 00:06:19 was a lot of money for her at the time.

00:06:19 --> 00:06:21 It goes on to say that Jane said that

00:06:21 --> 00:06:23 the ecstasy made her feel relaxed,

00:06:23 --> 00:06:27 euphoric, and sme. It just enhanced

00:06:27 --> 00:06:29 touch and sense and made me feel more

00:06:29 --> 00:06:31 even more loving and flirtatious with

00:06:31 --> 00:06:34 him, she said. Jane testified that she

00:06:34 --> 00:06:36 took ecstasy several more times during

00:06:36 --> 00:06:39 the trip. Diddy provided the drugs and

00:06:39 --> 00:06:41 determined her dosage every time. She

00:06:41 --> 00:06:44 said after returning from the trip, Jane

00:06:44 --> 00:06:46 said she was even deeper in my feelings

00:06:46 --> 00:06:50 for for Sean. I want I want to say we

00:06:50 --> 00:06:52 even started using the L word. She said

00:06:52 --> 00:06:55 I was really deep in it. Jane said that

00:06:55 --> 00:06:56 Combmes made it clear to her that he

00:06:56 --> 00:06:58 liked her but that he was seeing

00:06:58 --> 00:07:01 multiple women. I liked him and I was

00:07:01 --> 00:07:04 okay with it. she said. Jane said that

00:07:04 --> 00:07:05 she understood it is an open

00:07:05 --> 00:07:07 relationship and she didn't get the

00:07:07 --> 00:07:11 sense that monogamy was an option. In my

00:07:11 --> 00:07:13 heart, I just wanted to see Shawn, so I

00:07:13 --> 00:07:15 was monogamous, she said. She said her

00:07:15 --> 00:07:18 relationship with Combmes lasted until

00:07:18 --> 00:07:19 his

00:07:19 --> 00:07:22 arrest. It goes on to say, Jane said the

00:07:22 --> 00:07:23 two were private about their

00:07:23 --> 00:07:26 relationship. She might have only posted

00:07:26 --> 00:07:28 a social media about Combmes one time.

00:07:28 --> 00:07:31 She testified. Jane lived on the east

00:07:31 --> 00:07:33 coast when they first met, but relocated

00:07:33 --> 00:07:36 to California in June

00:07:36 --> 00:07:39 2021. Combmes gave her money, including

00:07:39 --> 00:07:41 $6 for a moving truck and

00:07:41 --> 00:07:43 periodically transferred her money just

00:07:43 --> 00:07:45 because throughout their relationship

00:07:45 --> 00:07:48 from February through May of 2021, she'd

00:07:48 --> 00:07:51 see Combmes every other week when he'd

00:07:51 --> 00:07:53 fly her to see him in Miami. Jane

00:07:53 --> 00:07:56 testified. It goes on to say that Jane

00:07:56 --> 00:07:58 said that between February and May of

00:07:58 --> 00:08:01 2021, she did drugs every time she saw

00:08:01 --> 00:08:04 Diddy Combmes and he offered them when

00:08:04 --> 00:08:07 they had sex. They took ecstasy, molly,

00:08:07 --> 00:08:09 cocaine, and ketamine. In that time

00:08:09 --> 00:08:11 frame, Jane says she learned a lot about

00:08:11 --> 00:08:14 how Combmes preferred to have sex. I

00:08:14 --> 00:08:17 learned how he liked to have pornography

00:08:17 --> 00:08:20 playing. I learned how he preferred to

00:08:20 --> 00:08:22 me to dress and and I just learned the

00:08:22 --> 00:08:25 things that he liked smeually. Jane said

00:08:25 --> 00:08:27 that he preferred her to wear

00:08:27 --> 00:08:29 provocative lingerie and really high

00:08:29 --> 00:08:31 stripper shoes and to put baby oil on

00:08:32 --> 00:08:35 her body and his. She said they would

00:08:35 --> 00:08:37 have smecks in the bedroom at his home

00:08:37 --> 00:08:39 lit with red lights. They would have

00:08:39 --> 00:08:42 smecks for 12 to 24 hours. Jane

00:08:42 --> 00:08:44 testified that she loved the smeckual

00:08:44 --> 00:08:47 sessions during this period. I really

00:08:47 --> 00:08:49 loved my partner and I was just making

00:08:49 --> 00:08:51 love with my partner the whole time and

00:08:51 --> 00:08:53 lots of affection and kissing and love

00:08:53 --> 00:08:55 making. She said her relationship with

00:08:56 --> 00:08:59 Combmes then was very intense. It felt

00:08:59 --> 00:09:01 like Shawn was really passionate and he

00:09:01 --> 00:09:03 brought a lot of passion out of me. Jane

00:09:03 --> 00:09:05 said and the way he would compliment me

00:09:06 --> 00:09:08 and be so into me and just really like

00:09:08 --> 00:09:11 enjoying one another. Jane dropped her

00:09:11 --> 00:09:13 head and dabbed her eyes with a tissue

00:09:13 --> 00:09:15 when prosecutor Moren Comey asked about

00:09:16 --> 00:09:18 what happened between her and Diddy

00:09:18 --> 00:09:21 Combmes in May 2021. The two had been

00:09:21 --> 00:09:23 awake for many hours in his bedroom in

00:09:23 --> 00:09:26 Miami having smacks and taking drugs.

00:09:26 --> 00:09:29 Jane testified. Combmes was asking James

00:09:29 --> 00:09:32 Jane to fantasize about being with other

00:09:32 --> 00:09:34 men and asked if she'd want to do that.

00:09:34 --> 00:09:37 She testified. She responded, "Okay."

00:09:37 --> 00:09:39 not thinking it would happen that night,

00:09:39 --> 00:09:41 just playing into the fantasy. Jane told

00:09:41 --> 00:09:44 prosecutors, but Combmes was quickly on

00:09:44 --> 00:09:46 his phone telling her, "We can make that

00:09:46 --> 00:09:48 happen tonight." Jane said she was taken

00:09:48 --> 00:09:51 a back, but again said, "Okay." Asked

00:09:51 --> 00:09:53 Mr. Combmes why she responded that way.

00:09:53 --> 00:09:55 Jane said,

00:09:55 --> 00:09:58 "Because, excuse me. Because my partner

00:09:58 --> 00:10:00 was excited and it was already

00:10:00 --> 00:10:02 happening." Within a few hours, they

00:10:02 --> 00:10:05 were in a hotel suite in Miami. James

00:10:05 --> 00:10:07 testified. Comb's assistants were

00:10:07 --> 00:10:09 bustling around setting up the room with

00:10:09 --> 00:10:12 red lights. After the assistants left,

00:10:12 --> 00:10:14 Combmes told her to relax while they

00:10:14 --> 00:10:16 wait for a man to come. Combmes told her

00:10:16 --> 00:10:18 that he knew the guy and he was really

00:10:18 --> 00:10:21 nice. Jane testified that she was super

00:10:21 --> 00:10:23 nervous and still high from the drug she

00:10:23 --> 00:10:25 took earlier that night with Combmes.

00:10:25 --> 00:10:27 Combmes went to greet the man. When he

00:10:27 --> 00:10:29 arrived and eventually called Jane to

00:10:29 --> 00:10:32 join them, Combmes told her the man Don,

00:10:32 --> 00:10:35 his name is Don, was from the service

00:10:35 --> 00:10:38 Cowboys for Angels. Jane described in

00:10:38 --> 00:10:40 court how she eventually had smecks with

00:10:40 --> 00:10:43 Don while Combmes watched. Don left

00:10:43 --> 00:10:46 after the two hadmecks. After Don left,

00:10:46 --> 00:10:48 Jane said she and Combmes had smecks and

00:10:48 --> 00:10:50 she recalled that they were really

00:10:50 --> 00:10:52 happy. The next day, she went with

00:10:52 --> 00:10:55 Combmes and his friends on a yacht. Jane

00:10:55 --> 00:10:57 testified that she initially felt

00:10:57 --> 00:11:00 exhilarated by that night. I felt

00:11:00 --> 00:11:02 excited. I was happy. It was taboo. It

00:11:02 --> 00:11:04 was fun. I had a good time with my

00:11:04 --> 00:11:06 partner, she said. She testified that

00:11:06 --> 00:11:08 she thought it was something that they

00:11:08 --> 00:11:10 did just that one time and might do

00:11:10 --> 00:11:13 again on a random other occasion. I

00:11:13 --> 00:11:15 truly felt that that night just opened

00:11:15 --> 00:11:17 like a Pandora's box in the

00:11:17 --> 00:11:19 relationship. Jane said it just

00:11:19 --> 00:11:20 completely set the tone for our

00:11:20 --> 00:11:23 relationship moving forward. She said

00:11:23 --> 00:11:24 that night opened a door that she was

00:11:24 --> 00:11:27 unable to shut for the remainder of our

00:11:27 --> 00:11:29 relationship. Assistant US Attorney

00:11:29 --> 00:11:31 Moren Comey asked her why she wanted to

00:11:32 --> 00:11:34 shut that door. There was so much of it

00:11:34 --> 00:11:36 after and it was just too much of it,

00:11:36 --> 00:11:38 Jane said. She said throughout her

00:11:38 --> 00:11:42 relationship, Diddy uh with Diddy, she

00:11:42 --> 00:11:44 only wanted to have SMEX with him and

00:11:44 --> 00:11:47 not with other men. It goes on to say

00:11:47 --> 00:11:50 Jane said uh says she told Diddy

00:11:50 --> 00:11:52 multiple times that she did not want to

00:11:52 --> 00:11:54 have smecks with other men, but he

00:11:54 --> 00:11:58 didn't listen. Jane estimated that about

00:11:58 --> 00:12:00 90% of the time she had smacks with

00:12:00 --> 00:12:02 Combmes, it would involve another man

00:12:02 --> 00:12:05 after the first time doing so in May

00:12:05 --> 00:12:07 2021. She said she went along with it

00:12:08 --> 00:12:09 initially because she really loved

00:12:09 --> 00:12:11 Combmes and wanted to make him happy. I

00:12:12 --> 00:12:14 feared losing him, Jane testified. I

00:12:14 --> 00:12:17 just wanted everything that he wanted.

00:12:17 --> 00:12:19 It goes on to say by late 2021, however,

00:12:19 --> 00:12:21 Jane says she was telecomm she didn't

00:12:21 --> 00:12:24 want to have smacks with other men both

00:12:24 --> 00:12:27 in writing and verbally. She mostly told

00:12:27 --> 00:12:29 him in writing, Jane testified because

00:12:29 --> 00:12:31 there was tension when she broached the

00:12:32 --> 00:12:34 subject in person. When the topic came

00:12:34 --> 00:12:36 up, it would start out really

00:12:36 --> 00:12:38 uncomfortable, Jane said. I could just

00:12:38 --> 00:12:40 feel that tension was building up and I

00:12:40 --> 00:12:42 would just kind of push down and then I

00:12:42 --> 00:12:44 was going to say it it pushed down what

00:12:44 --> 00:12:47 I was going to say. Combmes was

00:12:47 --> 00:12:49 dismissive and even call her crazy at

00:12:49 --> 00:12:52 times for discussing it. James testified

00:12:52 --> 00:12:53 other times he would say it was fine and

00:12:53 --> 00:12:55 they didn't have to do it anymore but

00:12:55 --> 00:12:58 then we would still do it. She said it

00:12:58 --> 00:13:00 goes on to say that Jane testified that

00:13:00 --> 00:13:03 Diddy paid the rent for her home when

00:13:03 --> 00:13:05 she tried to tell him she didn't want to

00:13:05 --> 00:13:07 have smecks with other men. Combmes

00:13:07 --> 00:13:09 would say, "If you want to break up,

00:13:09 --> 00:13:11 that's fine." And then say he wouldn't

00:13:11 --> 00:13:14 pay for a rent for pay rent for a woman

00:13:14 --> 00:13:17 he wasn't seeing. Jane testified that

00:13:17 --> 00:13:18 she wasn't trying to break up in the

00:13:18 --> 00:13:20 conversation. She just wasn't trying to

00:13:20 --> 00:13:24 stop having with other men. I felt

00:13:24 --> 00:13:26 frustrated, Jane said, adding that she

00:13:26 --> 00:13:28 felt obligated to perform these nights

00:13:28 --> 00:13:31 for him. When asked why she felt

00:13:31 --> 00:13:33 obligated to continue the sexual

00:13:33 --> 00:13:34 encounters with Combmes and other men,

00:13:34 --> 00:13:37 Jane said, "My feelings of obligation

00:13:37 --> 00:13:38 really started to stem from the fact

00:13:38 --> 00:13:41 that my partner was was paying my

00:13:41 --> 00:13:44 rent." Okay, we're almost done, guys.

00:13:44 --> 00:13:46 Um, it goes on to say that Jane

00:13:46 --> 00:13:48 testified that it was unpredictable when

00:13:48 --> 00:13:51 she would see Diddy and and he would

00:13:51 --> 00:13:54 sometimes notifi notify her the day or

00:13:54 --> 00:13:57 the night before. Jane says she made

00:13:57 --> 00:13:59 sure she was always available to see

00:13:59 --> 00:14:02 Diddy by arranging proper child care and

00:14:02 --> 00:14:05 keeping her hair and nails done for him.

00:14:05 --> 00:14:07 She testified that Combmes preferred her

00:14:07 --> 00:14:09 to have straight hair and light colored

00:14:09 --> 00:14:13 nails. Jane Jane said Combmes called the

00:14:13 --> 00:14:15 sexual encounters with other men

00:14:15 --> 00:14:18 debauchery or hotel nights. Jane

00:14:18 --> 00:14:20 testified she and Combmes had a hotel

00:14:20 --> 00:14:23 night every single time she saw him

00:14:23 --> 00:14:28 between May 2021 and October 2023. The

00:14:28 --> 00:14:30 two were on a break from October 23

00:14:30 --> 00:14:34 through February 2024. Jane testified.

00:14:34 --> 00:14:36 She said they had some time alone after

00:14:36 --> 00:14:38 a hotel night with another man, but she

00:14:38 --> 00:14:41 felt like it was a hotel night the whole

00:14:41 --> 00:14:43 time. Jane said her relationship with

00:14:44 --> 00:14:46 Diddy affected her ability to work and

00:14:46 --> 00:14:49 make income. I would say that when I was

00:14:49 --> 00:14:51 with Shawn, I was really consumed by

00:14:51 --> 00:14:54 him. I was really consumed by Shawn.

00:14:54 --> 00:14:56 Jane testified she made sure she was

00:14:56 --> 00:14:59 always ready for combs at a moment's

00:14:59 --> 00:15:01 notice. She made some money through

00:15:01 --> 00:15:03 social media, Jane said, but my presence

00:15:03 --> 00:15:06 on social media really declined after I
