Corey Athwal

Known across the airwaves as “Controversial Corey,” Corey Athwal holds nothing back as an outspoken sports host, gridiron strategist, and digital media contributor. With a deep football pedigree as a former player and a 17-year coaching career spanning youth to high school programs from 2006 to 2023, Athwal blends practical playbook experience with an unapologetic voice. He commands the mic as co-host of both 4EVER FAITHFUL 9NATION and Faithful Unfiltered, while also bringing his signature enthusiasm for professional wrestling to the Backstage Business Podcast team. Anchored by his dedication as a family man—cheering on his son’s football journey alongside his wife and staying active in the gym—Athwal brings an authentic, unfiltered perspective that keeps the conversation real and constantly pushes the boundaries of standard sports debate.
