the Real Housewives of Atlanta universe, Shamea Morton is catching heat over a steamy scene from Todd Tucker’s film, Don’t Bring Your Man to Atlanta. Todd, who wrote and directed the movie, recently shared a provocative scene featuring Shamea and Michael “Bolo” Bolwaire, prompting fans to question why the scene was being used so prominently to promote the film.
The situation became even messier because Shamea has previously discussed her husband Gerald Mwangi’s discomfort with seeing her perform romantic scenes with other men. According to reports, Gerald initially complimented her performance before admitting that watching his wife “be with another man” on screen made him uncomfortable.
Todd, however, isn’t backing down. He defended the scene by emphasizing that it’s acting and that the cast knew what their roles involved before agreeing to participate. He also referenced Gerald’s reaction while promoting the film, essentially turning the controversy surrounding the scene into part of the movie’s promotional conversation.
