00:01:01 --> 00:01:03 about, you know, what's been going on
00:01:03 --> 00:01:06 with her. And it says Taraji didn't hold
00:01:06 --> 00:01:08 back as she opened up about the
00:01:08 --> 00:01:10 transformation changes that she's made
00:01:10 --> 00:01:13 in her life, including giving up
00:01:13 --> 00:01:15 alcohol, reclaiming her mental clarity,
00:01:15 --> 00:01:18 and rediscovering joy in unexpected
00:01:18 --> 00:01:21 places like Bali. with vulnerability,
00:01:22 --> 00:01:24 strengthen signature humor. This is why
00:01:24 --> 00:01:26 we love her so much. And I agree. I
00:01:26 --> 00:01:29 agree. And I know she was having
00:01:29 --> 00:01:32 problems with depression. And and I saw
00:01:32 --> 00:01:33 her on something and didn't she have
00:01:33 --> 00:01:35 like a a reality show, sort of like a
00:01:35 --> 00:01:39 reality show where she talked about uh
00:01:39 --> 00:01:42 people that that deal with uh mental
00:01:42 --> 00:01:44 issues and and and depression and things
00:01:44 --> 00:01:46 like that. So we know that that was a
00:01:46 --> 00:01:49 ongoing thing for her. Um, she says to
00:01:50 --> 00:01:52 she shared things about being sober for
00:01:52 --> 00:01:54 several months now, not out of
00:01:54 --> 00:01:56 obligation, but out of a desire to be
00:01:56 --> 00:01:59 the best version of herself. She said
00:01:59 --> 00:02:01 her skin is better, she's sleeping, she
00:02:01 --> 00:02:03 dropped weight, but more than that, she
00:02:03 --> 00:02:06 feels like herself again. She says her
00:02:06 --> 00:02:09 sobriety is closely tied to her mental
00:02:09 --> 00:02:12 health journey and need to let go of
00:02:12 --> 00:02:14 toxic energy. And I applaud you. Let
00:02:14 --> 00:02:17 everybody applaud to Rajie and I applaud
00:02:17 --> 00:02:21 anybody that wants to take hold of their
00:02:22 --> 00:02:25 their mental state because I
00:02:25 --> 00:02:30 mean that's that's dire that's dire and
00:02:30 --> 00:02:32 that's all the thing now you know
00:02:32 --> 00:02:34 protect my peace protect my inner peace
00:02:34 --> 00:02:38 but it's real it's real so I'm so happy

00:02:42 --> 00:02:45 herself and And I want her to feel like
00:02:45 --> 00:02:48 herself in the positive way, not, you
00:02:48 --> 00:02:52 know, just cast out all the negativity,
00:02:52 --> 00:02:54 all the toxic things that keep you that
00:02:54 --> 00:02:57 way. And I hope that she's on a great
00:02:57 --> 00:02:59 journey of nothing but joy. So, we wish

00:03:04 --> 00:03:07 has that new um film out on Netflix

00:03:16 --> 00:03:19 for all of you fans. She has hinted on
00:03:19 --> 00:03:22 her Instagram page that she may have a
00:03:22 --> 00:03:25 new album coming out. And it it's been
00:03:25 --> 00:03:29 through since 2018, if I'm not mistaken.
00:03:29 --> 00:03:32 Yeah, 2018. But on Instagram, she
00:03:32 --> 00:03:35 announced something called
00:03:35 --> 00:03:38 MC16, and that's possibly the name of
00:03:38 --> 00:03:40 her next album.
00:03:40 --> 00:03:43 Um, it's refreshing to hear that she's
00:03:43 --> 00:03:44 going to come out with new music. And I
00:03:44 --> 00:03:47 know that Mariah, she's been going
00:03:47 --> 00:03:48 through it. She's been going through it.
00:03:48 --> 00:03:52 She's had uh some some definite
00:03:52 --> 00:03:55 challenges in her life that she's had to
00:03:55 --> 00:03:58 face. And but it's good that she's
00:03:58 --> 00:04:00 getting back to music and some people
00:04:00 --> 00:04:02 use music as a healing, you know,
00:04:02 --> 00:04:04 healing process. So, I hope that's

00:04:14 --> 00:04:16 new song called What's Your Type? She
