00:00:19 --> 00:00:21 celebrity stylist and friend of Cassy's
00:00:21 --> 00:00:24 confirmed that he hasn't filed a lawsuit
00:00:24 --> 00:00:26 or sent a demand letter to Diddy
00:00:26 --> 00:00:29 Combmes. Uh, defense attorney Donaldson
00:00:29 --> 00:00:31 asked him if he was considering pursuing
00:00:31 --> 00:00:34 civil litigations against Combmes. He
00:00:34 --> 00:00:36 said, "No, I'm focused on getting out of
00:00:36 --> 00:00:38 here." Nash said. Donaldson asked if
00:00:38 --> 00:00:41 Nash retained counsel to consider suing
00:00:41 --> 00:00:44 Combmes. He says, "I have counsel to
00:00:44 --> 00:00:47 protect me. I don't do federal court."
00:00:47 --> 00:00:50 Okay. Then it goes on to say under
00:00:50 --> 00:00:52 cross-examination, Donaldson confirmed
00:00:52 --> 00:00:54 with Deontay Nash that he became a
00:00:54 --> 00:00:56 celebrity stylist after first being
00:00:56 --> 00:00:58 hired as an intern for Bad Boy
00:00:58 --> 00:01:01 Entertainment. Donaldson suggested Diddy
00:01:01 --> 00:01:04 Combmes helped Nash get his start to
00:01:04 --> 00:01:07 which Nash said, "Go ahead." Nash also
00:01:07 --> 00:01:09 confirmed he helped Cassie Ventur select
00:01:09 --> 00:01:12 her wedding dress. Okay, so it goes on
00:01:12 --> 00:01:15 to say, "During a cross-examination,
00:01:15 --> 00:01:17 celebrity stylist confirmed that a music
00:01:17 --> 00:01:20 label like Bad Boy Entertainment has an
00:01:20 --> 00:01:21 had an interest in making sure their
00:01:21 --> 00:01:24 artist appeared a certain way." The uh
00:01:24 --> 00:01:26 defense attorney asked Nash if it was
00:01:26 --> 00:01:28 important for the person running the
00:01:28 --> 00:01:30 label to make sure an artist's clothing
00:01:30 --> 00:01:33 looked good, and he responded, "Yeah,
00:01:33 --> 00:01:36 sometimes." Um, the stylist also
00:01:36 --> 00:01:38 testified that Cassie did photo shoots
00:01:38 --> 00:01:40 for a clothing brand that was not
00:01:40 --> 00:01:44 affiliated with Bad Boy around 2015 or
00:01:44 --> 00:01:47 16. Nash said Diddy Combmes was still
00:01:47 --> 00:01:49 handson and approved both her
00:01:50 --> 00:01:51 partnership with the brand and the
00:01:51 --> 00:01:54 photos. Donaldson suggested that since
00:01:54 --> 00:01:56 Combmes allow Ventur to work with the
00:01:56 --> 00:01:59 brand, the music mogul was wasn't
00:01:59 --> 00:02:02 holding her back and Nash said, "Well,
00:02:02 --> 00:02:05 not with that." So, it goes on to say,
00:02:06 --> 00:02:08 uh, Deonte Naz said he last spoke to
00:02:08 --> 00:02:10 Cassie Ventur yesterday after she had
00:02:10 --> 00:02:12 her baby. Congratulations,
00:02:12 --> 00:02:15 uh, to he said he, uh, he talked to her
00:02:15 --> 00:02:17 to tell her congratulations. Nat said
00:02:17 --> 00:02:19 before that, he had also spoke to
00:02:19 --> 00:02:21 Ventura about the clothes she planned to
00:02:21 --> 00:02:23 wear at the trial when she
00:02:23 --> 00:02:25 testified. All right, moving on. It said
00:02:26 --> 00:02:28 Deontay Nash and a friend of Cassie said
00:02:28 --> 00:02:30 Diddy Combmes did not approve looks for
00:02:30 --> 00:02:33 bad boy artists other than Ventura. He
00:02:33 --> 00:02:35 said he didn't think other artists had
00:02:35 --> 00:02:38 anyone approved had anyone approve their
00:02:38 --> 00:02:41 looks. Nash said, "Not that I know of
00:02:41 --> 00:02:42 because some of them looked terrible.
00:02:42 --> 00:02:44 Most of the artists kind of did their
00:02:44 --> 00:02:48 own thing," Nash said. Um the stylist
00:02:48 --> 00:02:50 testified that he had seen Cassie
00:02:50 --> 00:02:52 Ventura take drugs, including Molly and
00:02:52 --> 00:02:55 Ecstasy, at times inside her home. Nash
00:02:55 --> 00:02:57 testified that he smokes marijuana. He
00:02:57 --> 00:02:58 said one of the meetings with
00:02:59 --> 00:03:01 prosecutors was cut short after he was
00:03:01 --> 00:03:04 told that he had smoked
00:03:04 --> 00:03:07 beforehand. Um it goes on to say defense
00:03:07 --> 00:03:11 attorney Donaldson walked Deontay Nash
00:03:11 --> 00:03:14 through his testimony about the time
00:03:14 --> 00:03:16 Diddy Combmes attacked Ventur in her
00:03:16 --> 00:03:18 apartment while they were packing for
00:03:18 --> 00:03:21 the music festival in Canada around
00:03:21 --> 00:03:24 2013. Nas said he jumped on Col's back
00:03:24 --> 00:03:26 trying to pull him off in tour to
00:03:26 --> 00:03:29 protect him from him, but also said he
00:03:29 --> 00:03:31 did it to protect him from doing
00:03:31 --> 00:03:33 something more serious. Nash confirmed
00:03:33 --> 00:03:35 that some of Comb's security guards who
00:03:35 --> 00:03:38 were outside tried to convince Comb to
00:03:38 --> 00:03:40 stop bothering V stop bothering Ventur
00:03:40 --> 00:03:43 and Nash and to leave them alone. So
00:03:43 --> 00:03:46 that's how it it ended up you guys. So I
