00:00:39 --> 00:00:41 incident, Combmes brutally beat and
00:00:41 --> 00:00:44 kicked Cassie Ventur, promptly prompting
00:00:44 --> 00:00:46 Clark to make a desperate call to
00:00:46 --> 00:00:51 Ventur's mother." She said when no one
00:00:51 --> 00:00:53 when no one in Comb's inner circle would
00:00:53 --> 00:00:55 step in to the to stop the beating.
00:00:55 --> 00:00:58 Clark said she had no other option but
00:00:58 --> 00:01:01 to call Regina Ventura. Clark recalled
00:01:01 --> 00:01:07 telling um her mom his he is beating the
00:01:07 --> 00:01:10 shiit out of your daughter. I'm in over
00:01:10 --> 00:01:13 my head. Please help her. I can't call
00:01:13 --> 00:01:16 the police but you can. So that was one
00:01:16 --> 00:01:19 of the things that she said. Okay. So it
00:01:19 --> 00:01:21 goes on to say Combmes questioned Clark
00:01:21 --> 00:01:23 about how much she knew regarding
00:01:23 --> 00:01:27 Cassy's relationship with Kid
00:01:27 --> 00:01:29 Cuy. Clark uh Clark told the court he
00:01:30 --> 00:01:32 was angry and upset, wanted to know when
00:01:32 --> 00:01:35 Clark knew about the pair and why she
00:01:35 --> 00:01:38 didn't tell him. Clark testified.
00:01:38 --> 00:01:43 Combmes told her, "I should unalive you
00:01:43 --> 00:01:45 bittc's." Clark
00:01:45 --> 00:01:49 said. Combmes fired Clark. She said her
00:01:49 --> 00:01:53 allegedly failing to inform him about
00:01:53 --> 00:01:56 Cassie Ventur dating Kid Cuy. She said,
00:01:56 --> 00:01:58 "I lost
00:01:58 --> 00:02:00 everything." Ticking off a list of
00:02:00 --> 00:02:02 employment benefits such as health
00:02:02 --> 00:02:04 insurance and 401ks.
00:02:04 --> 00:02:06 Uh, Clark said, "Collems gave her a
00:02:06 --> 00:02:10 30-day notice in 2012. He said, "I will
00:02:10 --> 00:02:12 never work again, and all these people
00:02:12 --> 00:02:14 weren't my friends, and he would make me
00:02:14 --> 00:02:17 un alive myself." Clark came back to
00:02:17 --> 00:02:21 Comb's World in 2016 working as Ventur's
00:02:22 --> 00:02:24 creative director. I don't know why she
00:02:24 --> 00:02:26 kept coming back. I It's almost like
00:02:26 --> 00:02:29 she's abused as well. Just Just like
00:02:29 --> 00:02:31 mentally abused. But anyway, that's just
00:02:31 --> 00:02:34 my opinion. Okay, but let's go. Uh,
00:02:34 --> 00:02:36 Combmes and Cassie Ventur would have
00:02:36 --> 00:02:38 both benefited from splitting up long
00:02:38 --> 00:02:41 before they did, the witness saying. The
00:02:41 --> 00:02:43 witness said, "Yes, they were they were
00:02:43 --> 00:02:46 toxic as a couple." Clark said during
00:02:46 --> 00:02:49 the cross-examination by defense lawyer
00:02:49 --> 00:02:52 uh Mark Agnilio. The def the defense has
00:02:52 --> 00:02:55 sought to downplay violence inflicted on
00:02:55 --> 00:02:58 Vento Ventura by Combmes by implying
00:02:58 --> 00:03:01 that troubles acts within the
00:03:01 --> 00:03:03 relationships were consensual or
00:03:03 --> 00:03:05 motivated by
00:03:05 --> 00:03:07 jealousy. Okay. It goes on to say,
00:03:07 --> 00:03:09 "Clark told the court that she was
00:03:09 --> 00:03:12 locked up in an office for around 40
00:03:12 --> 00:03:15 hours while being subjected to a lie
00:03:15 --> 00:03:18 detector test about missing jewelry." I
00:03:18 --> 00:03:20 guess this must be the defense uh
00:03:20 --> 00:03:22 questioning her now because they're
00:03:22 --> 00:03:23 they're going over some of the same
00:03:23 --> 00:03:25 things. Uh, she tested under
00:03:25 --> 00:03:28 cross-examination that she was hooked up
00:03:28 --> 00:03:31 to the polygraph about 10:00 a.m. and
00:03:31 --> 00:03:34 wouldn't be finished until about 5 or 6
00:03:34 --> 00:03:37 p.m. Clark says she would take the test.
00:03:37 --> 00:03:39 It would be taken for review and she
00:03:40 --> 00:03:42 would keep taking the test until Combmes
00:03:42 --> 00:03:45 cleared her for 5 days later. asked by
00:03:45 --> 00:03:47 the defense attorney uh whether she
00:03:47 --> 00:03:49 reported to human resources that she was
00:03:50 --> 00:03:51 locked in the building while she took a
00:03:52 --> 00:03:53 lie detector test over the course of
00:03:53 --> 00:03:56 five days. Clark says she did not. It
00:03:56 --> 00:03:59 goes on to say Clark began to cry under
00:03:59 --> 00:04:02 cross-examination after she asked about
00:04:02 --> 00:04:04 working hard for Combmes and whether she
00:04:04 --> 00:04:07 believed in the work she was doing.
00:04:07 --> 00:04:10 Comb's former employee told the court
00:04:10 --> 00:04:12 that she learned a lot from Combmes,
00:04:12 --> 00:04:14 especially as someone who didn't finish
00:04:14 --> 00:04:16 her college education. She said she
00:04:16 --> 00:04:20 considered it another form of business
00:04:20 --> 00:04:22 school. Then it goes on to say Clark
00:04:22 --> 00:04:25 said that Combmes was tenacious and
00:04:25 --> 00:04:27 broke glass
00:04:27 --> 00:04:30 ceilings. So it looks like they demiss
00:04:30 --> 00:04:33 dismissed everything after this. So it's
00:04:33 --> 00:04:34 a lot more that's going to be said
00:04:34 --> 00:04:37 tomorrow. I guess the defense will
00:04:37 --> 00:04:40 continue to cross-examine her. So, I
00:04:40 --> 00:04:42 don't know, guys. What do you think? But
