00:00:01 --> 00:00:03 Hey, hey everybody. This is Demia Avery

00:00:03 --> 00:00:05 of the Demia Avery Show. Thank you so

00:00:05 --> 00:00:07 much for checking out my entertainment

00:00:07 --> 00:00:09 report. Hit that subscribe button, hit

00:00:09 --> 00:00:12 that like and share. I'm so sorry I'm

00:00:12 --> 00:00:14 out of the studio today, but you will

00:00:14 --> 00:00:17 see my wonderful face tomorrow and um so

00:00:17 --> 00:00:20 I can continue on with our updates. But

00:00:20 --> 00:00:22 I do have a few updates to talk to you

00:00:22 --> 00:00:25 guys about. So really quick, I want to

00:00:25 --> 00:00:28 talk to you first about 50 Cents. No,

00:00:28 --> 00:00:29 not this time. He's not really making

00:00:30 --> 00:00:32 any any memes or or joking or anything.

00:00:32 --> 00:00:34 Well, he could be joking, but you know

00:00:34 --> 00:00:37 how 50 Cent is. But according to allhip

00:00:37 --> 00:00:40 hiphop.com, 50 Cent made it clear that

00:00:40 --> 00:00:43 he won't stand by if if Trump considers

00:00:43 --> 00:00:46 to pardon Diddy, who faces serious

00:00:46 --> 00:00:48 federal charges. They say 50 C wasted no

00:00:48 --> 00:00:51 time weighing in after Donald Trump

00:00:51 --> 00:00:53 floated the idea of potentially

00:00:53 --> 00:00:56 hardening Diddy, making it clear he

00:00:56 --> 00:00:59 plans to intervene and shut it down. He

00:00:59 --> 00:01:01 said some really bad things about Trump

00:01:01 --> 00:01:03 and it's not okay. I'm going to reach

00:01:03 --> 00:01:05 out so he knows how I feel about this

00:01:05 --> 00:01:08 guy. 50 Cent wrote on Instagram over the

00:01:08 --> 00:01:11 weekend responding to Trump's comment

00:01:11 --> 00:01:13 that he would certainly look at the

00:01:13 --> 00:01:15 facts if asked about granting clemency

00:01:15 --> 00:01:16 to

00:01:16 --> 00:01:20 Diddy. Um the Gunit founder never want

00:01:20 --> 00:01:22 Never hold back added another jab at

00:01:22 --> 00:01:25 Diddy while playing to Trump's ego. He

00:01:25 --> 00:01:27 says Donald doesn't take well to

00:01:27 --> 00:01:29 disrespect and doesn't forget who

00:01:29 --> 00:01:31 chooses to go against him. he wrote

00:01:32 --> 00:01:34 alongside another post, he would

00:01:34 --> 00:01:37 consider pardoning anyone who was being

00:01:37 --> 00:01:40 mistreated, not Puff Daddy. So, there

00:01:40 --> 00:01:42 you have it. That's what 50 Cent is

00:01:42 --> 00:01:44 saying. And I I believe that 50 Cent did

00:01:44 --> 00:01:47 have some type of relationship with um

00:01:47 --> 00:01:49 Trump some I I think they had some

00:01:49 --> 00:01:52 business dealings or something together

00:01:52 --> 00:01:54 before. So, we'll see we'll just see how

00:01:54 --> 00:01:56 that goes. We'll see how that goes. But

00:01:56 --> 00:01:59 if it was up to 50 Cent, no, he's not

00:01:59 --> 00:02:00 getting a

00:02:00 --> 00:02:03 part. So, let's quickly go on to our

00:02:03 --> 00:02:06 next story. And this is also about

00:02:06 --> 00:02:10 Denny. So, today on the stand,

00:02:10 --> 00:02:13 um you know, Mia, um that she has a

00:02:13 --> 00:02:16 pseudo name, the the girl that worked

00:02:16 --> 00:02:19 for Diddy as an assistant.

00:02:19 --> 00:02:24 So, she let out the bag about something

00:02:24 --> 00:02:26 that really tripped me out and a lot of

00:02:26 --> 00:02:27 sources are talking about it. So, let's

00:02:27 --> 00:02:29 talk about it really quick. So, this is

00:02:30 --> 00:02:32 from a variety magazine. It says Diddy

00:02:32 --> 00:02:35 Combmes auditioned to play James Brown

00:02:35 --> 00:02:39 in the 2014 Universal biopic Get on Up.

00:02:39 --> 00:02:41 It reveal it was revealed in the hip hop

00:02:42 --> 00:02:45 mogul SMEX trafficking trial. Um, the

00:02:45 --> 00:02:47 part ultimately went to Chadwick

00:02:47 --> 00:02:49 Boseman. Yeah, I think that might have

00:02:49 --> 00:02:51 been a better

00:02:51 --> 00:02:54 choice. It says uh Col's interest in the

00:02:54 --> 00:02:55 role was revealed during the

00:02:55 --> 00:02:58 cross-examination of Mia, one of his

00:02:58 --> 00:03:00 former assistants who was accused of

00:03:00 --> 00:03:04 graping and um essaying. Uh she is

00:03:04 --> 00:03:06 testifying under a pseudo name and

00:03:06 --> 00:03:09 various text messages between Mia and

00:03:09 --> 00:03:11 Combmes were shown to the court as

00:03:11 --> 00:03:14 evidence. In one August 2020 message,

00:03:14 --> 00:03:17 Mia wrote, "Thinking of you with Chad

00:03:17 --> 00:03:20 Wick Boseman in reference to the actor's

00:03:20 --> 00:03:23 um passing, she then said that Combmes

00:03:23 --> 00:03:26 was auditioning for the role of James

00:03:26 --> 00:03:28 Brown." So, how y'all think Do y'all

00:03:28 --> 00:03:29 think that he would have made a good

00:03:29 --> 00:03:30 James

00:03:30 --> 00:03:33 Brown? I don't know. I mean, I seen him

00:03:33 --> 00:03:36 do some some fancy footwork on stage and

00:03:36 --> 00:03:38 his acting is all right. So, what do

00:03:38 --> 00:03:40 y'all think? I don't think he would have

00:03:40 --> 00:03:43 done as good as Chadwick. Absolutely

00:03:43 --> 00:03:47 not. Absolutely not. But okay, whatever.

00:03:47 --> 00:03:50 So, speaking of the Diddy trial, I I got

00:03:50 --> 00:03:52 to tell you a little bit about what's

00:03:52 --> 00:03:53 going on the stand. I probably won't

00:03:53 --> 00:03:57 have another update because uh Mia is up

00:03:57 --> 00:03:59 there and you guys, they are grilling

00:04:00 --> 00:04:05 her to death with an F. And um but it's

00:04:05 --> 00:04:07 kind of like going around in circles.

00:04:07 --> 00:04:09 He's just asking the same question over

00:04:09 --> 00:04:11 and over in a different way. He's like,

00:04:11 --> 00:04:14 "Mary had a little lamb, didn't she?

00:04:14 --> 00:04:16 Didn't she?" And then he'll come back

00:04:16 --> 00:04:19 and be like, "The little lamb? Mary had

00:04:19 --> 00:04:21 it." Right? You know what I'm saying?

00:04:22 --> 00:04:26 So, it's kind of drawn out. And um but

00:04:26 --> 00:04:28 you know, whether it's effective or not,

00:04:28 --> 00:04:31 it's not up to me to say, but it's just

00:04:32 --> 00:04:34 it's just long for no reason to me. It's

00:04:34 --> 00:04:36 like, okay, prove what you got to prove

00:04:36 --> 00:04:39 and get off, you know, but it is what it

00:04:39 --> 00:04:41 is. But I'm going to read you guys what

00:04:41 --> 00:04:43 it says

00:04:43 --> 00:04:46 here. Um and then also they grilling

00:04:46 --> 00:04:49 her, you know, grilling her um from the

00:04:49 --> 00:04:52 standpoint of if you if he did these

00:04:52 --> 00:04:55 things to you, why did you stay or why

00:04:55 --> 00:04:57 did you later try to contact get in

00:04:58 --> 00:05:02 contact with him and um or why you

00:05:02 --> 00:05:04 haven't said anything about the essay

00:05:04 --> 00:05:08 until now. And so it says here, Mia

00:05:08 --> 00:05:11 acknowledged that aside from telling a

00:05:11 --> 00:05:14 therapist, she didn't disclose her essay

00:05:14 --> 00:05:17 allegation until 2020, June 20 24, I'm

00:05:18 --> 00:05:20 sorry, months after she began a series

00:05:20 --> 00:05:22 of meetings with government prosecutors

00:05:22 --> 00:05:24 during their investigation that led to

00:05:24 --> 00:05:27 Mr. Comb's arrest last September.

00:05:27 --> 00:05:30 Prosecutors said they met with me at 28

00:05:30 --> 00:05:32 times over the course of the case. She

00:05:32 --> 00:05:34 says, "I was still deeply ashamed and

00:05:34 --> 00:05:38 wanted to um wanted to die with this,"

00:05:38 --> 00:05:41 Mia said. Mr. Steel, the defense, also

00:05:41 --> 00:05:43 asked Mia whether she made her

00:05:43 --> 00:05:46 accusation to join the MeToo money grab,

00:05:46 --> 00:05:48 a question Mia did not answer because

00:05:48 --> 00:05:51 the judge sustained an objection from

00:05:51 --> 00:05:53 the government. Y'all, you know what?

00:05:53 --> 00:05:55 The only thing I can say, I mean, if it

00:05:55 --> 00:05:58 was a money grab, this is I I won't take

00:05:58 --> 00:06:00 sides on this. I let you guys decide.

00:06:00 --> 00:06:03 but she did not come to testify. They

00:06:03 --> 00:06:07 had to subpoena her. So, you know, I

00:06:07 --> 00:06:09 don't know if that is a thing or not,

00:06:09 --> 00:06:11 but you guys, you know, you decide on

00:06:11 --> 00:06:13 that. And then it also says earlier in

00:06:13 --> 00:06:16 the day, Mr. uh Steel challenged Mia to

00:06:16 --> 00:06:20 explain why given her accusations, she

00:06:20 --> 00:06:23 had sent Mr. combs a series of warm and

00:06:23 --> 00:06:26 affectionate text messages starting in

00:06:26 --> 00:06:29 2018 after she was no longer employed by

00:06:29 --> 00:06:32 him. She answered because I was

00:06:32 --> 00:06:34 brainwashed. She said that it took her

00:06:34 --> 00:06:36 time to come forward because she worked

00:06:36 --> 00:06:39 for Mr. Combmes. Quote, "Nobody acted

00:06:39 --> 00:06:42 like what was happening to me was

00:06:42 --> 00:06:45 wrong." End quote. She testified that

00:06:45 --> 00:06:48 she had also been dissuaded from

00:06:48 --> 00:06:51 speaking publicly by why she desri by

00:06:51 --> 00:06:53 what she described as a threat by Mr.

00:06:53 --> 00:06:55 Combmes that he would tell his

00:06:55 --> 00:06:58 girlfriend Cassie about their SA

00:06:58 --> 00:07:00 encounters, which she said made me

00:07:00 --> 00:07:04 internalize blame and shame. So, that's

00:07:04 --> 00:07:06 all that I have for today. I probably

00:07:06 --> 00:07:08 won't report anything else about the

00:07:08 --> 00:07:12 case until tomorrow. So, cuz they're

00:07:12 --> 00:07:15 going to um really go into her

00:07:15 --> 00:07:16 throughout the day and it's probably

00:07:16 --> 00:07:18 going to be the same kind of stuff cuz

00:07:18 --> 00:07:21 they keep bringing up the text messages

00:07:21 --> 00:07:23 that she's been, you know, sending him

00:07:23 --> 00:07:26 and things like that. So, that's all I

00:07:26 --> 00:07:27 got for you guys. I'll talk to you

00:07:27 --> 00:07:30 later. Bye.
