This is a woman that died. I can't wait to talk to her and for you all to hear just how amazing she is and how she's been in my life.

[00:01:42] But tonight, I have, let me tell y'all, I had a week ago, it was important to be obedient to the Holy Spirit.

[00:01:52] I was scrolling on social media.

[00:01:54] And don't y'all judge me.

[00:01:55] Y'all scroll too.

[00:01:56] Everybody's not always in their Bible.

[00:01:57] I was scrolling on social media and I saw Mrs. Dr. Maylove.

[00:02:01] And I was like, oh my goodness, I should ask her to be on my podcast.

[00:02:04] And let me tell y'all, never think that, because sometimes you think that people are too big for you.

[00:02:09] And I'm like, I'm going to come on my little podcast.

[00:02:13] That's why I thank them.

[00:02:14] Because you don't want to do a big deal, right?

[00:02:15] You're just getting started.

[00:02:16] You just don't know.

[00:02:17] I'm like, oh, I haven't seen her in years.

[00:02:19] And I've always just seen her as just such a mighty woman.

[00:02:23] A mighty woman of God, but just a mighty woman.

[00:02:25] Just so serious.

[00:02:26] Like she's just about her business.

[00:02:29] And I don't know if you noticed, and I think I was trying to tell you the other day, Dr. Cherie, that years ago, I think I met you in one of the worst times in my life.

[00:02:39] I was working at a school.

[00:02:41] School closed down.

[00:02:43] And I was dating somebody, and he got killed.

[00:02:47] He got killed.

[00:02:48] Not only did he get killed, he got killed in my car.

[00:02:50] Oh, goodness.

[00:02:51] I never dealt with the death of it.

[00:02:53] And through that process, I began to drink through it.

[00:02:57] And drink.

[00:02:58] And I met this guy, and we began to drink together.

[00:03:01] And next thing I know, I'm at the altar somewhere getting married to a stranger because we had trauma bonded.

[00:03:06] And it was a real abusive relationship.

[00:03:09] Okay.

[00:03:09] I'm really abusive.

[00:03:10] And I needed a job.

[00:03:11] And I needed to work.

[00:03:13] And he told me I didn't have to because, you know, it's the form of abuse too, right?

[00:03:17] So I walked in your office, and I think I was like, I was going through a situation, a legal situation, I think too.

[00:03:23] I think I just got through it.

[00:03:24] I was really embarrassed about it.

[00:03:25] And you saw my record.

[00:03:27] You said, you go, you know, can you do the job?

[00:03:29] And I said, yes, ma'am.

[00:03:30] And I knew that you had given me a shot.

[00:03:33] And I said, I'm never going to disappoint her.

[00:03:35] And I'm telling you, even though we never, I never, I can't, I can't disappoint her.

[00:03:41] Even through the trauma, I was going to go to work.

[00:03:44] I'm going to, yes.

[00:03:46] I went to work.

[00:03:47] I don't care what I did last night.

[00:03:48] I don't care about sleeping in my car that night.

[00:03:50] I couldn't make, I went to work, and I smelled good and looked good.

[00:03:54] I'm going to represent you well.

[00:03:55] And, and I just watch you, you were always so beautiful and elegant and everything I wanted to be and aspired to be and just strong.

[00:04:05] And, you know, seeing a woman in business and a black woman in business and you were saved.

[00:04:10] But what I did not know, we're hearing that testimony.

[00:04:13] What I didn't know is that I know that you were a pastor or you went to church, but I thought all elegant black women that were successful with the church.

[00:04:23] And their routine.

[00:04:25] I'm like, okay, she's like my mom.

[00:04:26] She's going to church.

[00:04:28] That you were a prayer warrior.

[00:04:30] So, and I didn't find that out, I think, until, I think I found that out after, after I left, I knew that someone said, oh, you know, Mr.

[00:04:38] Rish is a prayer warrior.

[00:04:39] I said, oh, is she really Dr.

[00:04:40] Sheree?

[00:04:41] I said, I didn't know that.

[00:04:42] And it was really vaguely, vaguely spoken, never to have been heard again.

[00:04:47] And I watched you on social media and I followed you because you're very quiet and very elegant and so beautiful.

[00:04:54] And I'm just so happy that you reached out and you said that the Lord had put you, put me on your heart.

[00:04:59] Yes, he did.

[00:05:00] Yes, he did.

[00:05:01] Tell us about it.

[00:05:02] Listen, I am, first of all, I want to give God glory for this night.

[00:05:06] Thank God for you stepping out in your vision.

[00:05:09] This is phenomenal.

[00:05:10] About a week ago, too, when you said a week ago, I said, wait a minute.

[00:05:13] That's the same timeline that the Lord spoke to me.

[00:05:16] And I started looking.

[00:05:17] I couldn't remember.

[00:05:18] I said, she got married.

[00:05:19] Let's see.

[00:05:19] I knew you first.

[00:05:20] And I just was like, and I found you.

[00:05:22] I was like, here she is.

[00:05:23] That was a week ago.

[00:05:25] That was a week ago.

[00:05:26] She was speaking simultaneously to you and to me at the same time.

[00:05:30] You know what I mean?

[00:05:30] If you were going to get in touch with me, I was going to get in touch with you.

[00:05:33] And God, I'm so grateful.

[00:05:36] This is powerful.

[00:05:37] I'm so grateful just to be here.

[00:05:38] I can't tell you how good God is.

[00:05:41] Well, you already know this.

[00:05:42] But the things that God has done for me, and I'm not going to tell you that everything has been easy.

[00:05:48] As you know, I'm a businesswoman.

[00:05:50] You know, I did retire last year for a company called actually three companies.

[00:05:54] The first one was Positive Directions.

[00:05:55] I was the sole prop for that.

[00:05:58] And then I went ahead and set up the Positive Directions PD, LLC, did that.

[00:06:03] Positive Directions 2, LLC.

[00:06:05] And then I also started a nonprofit organization called Helping Hands Development Center,

[00:06:10] which was a spinoff of the two companies, but we were doing more community work.

[00:06:14] We did financial literacy.

[00:06:15] We did Toys for Tots.

[00:06:17] I mean, we blessed various schools, toys, a whole nine years.

[00:06:21] So we did a lot.

[00:06:22] So I said that to say that in 2023 last year, in October of leading up,

[00:06:28] you really started to happen after the pandemic where I didn't say I was going to retire.

[00:06:33] But I remember years ago, I said, when I turned 62, I think I'm going to retire.

[00:06:37] The Lord reminded me that I didn't even know.

[00:06:39] It's almost like it snuck up on me.

[00:06:41] You know, sometimes I won't tell you everything.

[00:06:43] But I knew that it was coming toward that time.

[00:06:46] So at that time, my daughter was working for me.

[00:06:49] She was my operations manager and just doing so many wonderful things.

[00:06:52] And I started backing off on some responsibilities and just dealing with the administration parts of Positive Directions and everything else.

[00:07:00] And I sat back and watched her.

[00:07:02] And the thing about it was, I did not know.

[00:07:04] I want to say that.

[00:07:06] Positive Directions is a school-based counseling and other intervention services.

[00:07:09] That's what we do.

[00:07:10] We provide intervention services.

[00:07:12] We work with kids who are considered at risk.

[00:07:15] I say at promise.

[00:07:16] I don't look at them at risk because we have the awesome responsibility of redirecting their behavior.

[00:07:21] And that's where you came in and so many other people that work, that have a lot of kids.

[00:07:26] You know, we want to make sure that we're a place of influence into the kids' life.

[00:07:31] Well, when Janae came along, I was really contemplating, well, who is going to take this company?

[00:07:35] I mean, because we're in like year 2021.

[00:07:39] If I'm going to retire, I don't even know.

[00:07:41] And Janae kind of raised her hand.

[00:07:43] Mommy, I'm right here.

[00:07:44] I was just like, wait a minute.

[00:07:45] What are you saying?

[00:07:46] She said, Mommy, I've grown up in this company.

[00:07:48] I have the hardest companies and she just went on.

[00:07:51] And it was crazy because I knew it, but I didn't know it.

[00:07:55] She was living in Virginia at the time, was having a difficult time or a job.

[00:07:59] She said, shoot, I'll go home to my mom.

[00:08:01] My mom has a business.

[00:08:02] You know, come on.

[00:08:03] She became my HR manager.

[00:08:05] Then she was my admin.

[00:08:06] I mean, just went on and on and on.

[00:08:08] And so when she said, I'm right here, I mean, it's pretty clicking.

[00:08:13] And I was like, oh my God.

[00:08:14] Because my concern was, I said, God, I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.

[00:08:18] You and me partnering together because that's my partner.

[00:08:21] The Holy Spirit is my partner.

[00:08:22] I said, we can't, I can't imagine that this would just be done after I retire.

[00:08:26] What's going to, where's the legacy part?

[00:08:28] What's going to happen?

[00:08:28] Have you ever talked about that with your family?

[00:08:33] It was going to be someone else.

[00:08:35] I don't know if it's your name.

[00:08:36] She's kind of private, but you know who she is.

[00:08:37] We'll talk about that offline.

[00:08:39] But I thought it was somebody else that was going to take the reins.

[00:08:41] That's what I was looking at, looking this way.

[00:08:43] Here's my daughter looking at me like, when you're looking at that, look at me.

[00:08:46] Here I am.

[00:08:48] So it was so beautiful when she said that.

[00:08:50] I said, I cannot believe this.

[00:08:51] She's been here all the time, right here.

[00:08:53] Even as a teenager, Janae and her girlfriends would answer the calls for me.

[00:08:57] They would talk to principals.

[00:08:59] There were times when even I would call her principal.

[00:09:01] I'm sorry, I have to talk to Ms. Janae.

[00:09:02] She called me.

[00:09:03] I'm returning her call.

[00:09:04] I'm like, but I'm older.

[00:09:05] Never mind that.

[00:09:06] And you talk to Janae.

[00:09:07] She called me.

[00:09:07] I need to call her back.

[00:09:08] And her and her girlfriends, that's how they ran things.

[00:09:11] And it was just so beautiful.

[00:09:12] God was just moving in such a mighty way.

[00:09:14] But going backwards, just to kind of tell you how it all started.

[00:09:18] I was working as a family crisis therapist in the school system, in the Grand Yon Colonial

[00:09:23] School District, having a great time, loving what I do, my background, bachelor's degree,

[00:09:27] social work, master's degrees in school counseling.

[00:09:30] But the thing is, as I was doing that job, I finally landed a job as a school counselor,

[00:09:35] my dream job.

[00:09:37] That was my dream job.

[00:09:39] That's what I wanted to do.

[00:09:40] I got to know all this.

[00:09:42] Okay.

[00:09:43] Yeah.

[00:09:43] That was my whole thing.

[00:09:44] So my goal was to do that job, retire from the school system forever, ever.

[00:09:51] Amen.

[00:09:52] God said he had other plans for me.

[00:09:55] So when he started talking to me about the business, I just like, wait, what, what, wait,

[00:09:59] what business?

[00:10:00] I mean, I'm not, I'm a social worker.

[00:10:02] That's me.

[00:10:03] That's my makeup.

[00:10:04] My husband now, he's the businessman.

[00:10:06] You call Dwayne.

[00:10:07] You want somebody to do social services?

[00:10:08] You call me.

[00:10:09] That's kind of, he calls me, you know what I mean?

[00:10:12] But when he started speaking it, I'm telling you, Lorena, I was so, it was, it was the

[00:10:16] most scariest thing I ever did.

[00:10:18] But it was as if the Holy Spirit was behind me, pushing me.

[00:10:21] Pushing me.

[00:10:22] He connects, I mean, he literally was pushing me.

[00:10:24] And it was like a couple of times I would turn back like, oh my God, he's really pushing

[00:10:28] me.

[00:10:29] And he started connecting me with different people, different people.

[00:10:33] I mean, various people, this person, that person would tell me what to do.

[00:10:37] So anyway, when I was at the school, I told the staff it was working at Brandywod Elementary

[00:10:41] School that I'm not going to be here long because that's what God told me.

[00:10:45] And they were like, what do you mean?

[00:10:46] I was saying to myself, I didn't tell them, but I didn't know what it meant either.

[00:10:49] Because I just really tried to stay, but how many, how many of you know, now you know

[00:10:54] this to be true.

[00:10:55] If you were in Christ, you know, when God tells you to move, you better move.

[00:10:58] You got to move.

[00:10:59] Listen, what he did, he started turning up the heat and literally burnt my body.

[00:11:05] It was kind of burning me out of there because I was slow full because I was afraid.

[00:11:10] I had never done that.

[00:11:12] I didn't know.

[00:11:13] So as I stepped out and I never forget, I remember one night sleeping after I left the

[00:11:18] job and I was like, Lord, what am I going to do with my tithe?

[00:11:21] I'm like, I used to give it.

[00:11:22] I'm a giver.

[00:11:23] And I just don't even have any.

[00:11:24] It was just first I asked my husband, Dwayne, this is what God is saying.

[00:11:27] And he said secretly, I was hoping he would tell me, no, you stay on that job because

[00:11:31] that's a sure thing.

[00:11:32] But he said, if God said, do it, do it.

[00:11:34] I said, oh man, now I have to do it.

[00:11:39] Now I have to do what God said to do.

[00:11:41] I was going to hide behind the banner of being a submissive woman.

[00:11:44] You know how.

[00:11:45] Yes, yes, yes.

[00:11:46] No, if God said, do it, you do it.

[00:11:49] We'll be okay.

[00:11:50] So anyway, I started praying, Lord, what is the name?

[00:11:53] Blah, blah, blah.

[00:11:53] He didn't speak right away.

[00:11:55] But one night I remember waking up and I said, positive directions.

[00:11:58] I remember screaming it out.

[00:12:00] And Dwayne said, what, what, what's going on?

[00:12:02] I said, the name of the business.

[00:12:04] It's called positive direction.

[00:12:04] He said, oh, okay.

[00:12:06] And he went right back to sleep.

[00:12:07] I was like, man, I'm just telling you what, you know what I mean?

[00:12:10] I couldn't even believe it.

[00:12:10] I was so excited.

[00:12:12] So that's what I think.

[00:12:13] It's a prophetic word because I'm telling you, my life changed.

[00:12:16] After working for you, I turned to a positive direction.

[00:12:21] It was a prophetic word.

[00:12:22] Wow.

[00:12:23] Wow.

[00:12:23] Well, he gave that to me.

[00:12:24] He really did.

[00:12:25] So as I started walking in it, things like I said started to unfold, unfold.

[00:12:29] And one key person he put in my path, I'll never forget it.

[00:12:34] As this, one of the people, so many people.

[00:12:36] Well, one gentleman I was working, I contracted my services out as a counselor at Thurgood Marshall

[00:12:41] Elementary School as a counselor.

[00:12:43] Well, the end of that year, my contract was done.

[00:12:45] So I was like, I don't know what I'm going to do.

[00:12:47] He said, well, the gentleman, he said, I can't remember his name now, but he said, I think

[00:12:50] his last name was Brown, Mr. Brown.

[00:12:52] He said, well, have you ever considered doing an RFP?

[00:12:54] I was like, an RF, what?

[00:12:56] I didn't even know what an RFP was.

[00:12:58] He said, it's called a request for a proposal.

[00:13:00] I was like, oh, I'd never heard of that.

[00:13:01] He said, what you do, you have to bid on certain contracts.

[00:13:05] You know, you look on the website.

[00:13:06] He told me the whole thing, how to do this.

[00:13:08] So I started looking, lo and behold, I started seeing things that apply to my background as

[00:13:13] a counselor.

[00:13:14] And I started applying with the help of my husband, because I still didn't know how

[00:13:18] to, this was all new to me.

[00:13:19] But just following blondies as if I had blinders on, but following, following, shaking.

[00:13:24] The whole time, but following the leading of the Holy Spirit.

[00:13:28] So anyway, as I did that, God opened the door where I got another call from another key

[00:13:34] person in the procurement office who said, Cherie, I got a dilemma.

[00:13:38] I was like, well, what's the problem?

[00:13:39] I handed it in every one time, everything was stamped.

[00:13:41] She said, no, no.

[00:13:42] I just want to know if you, because we selected you at another major counseling firm company.

[00:13:48] And I want to know if you were willing to split this contract.

[00:13:51] I was like, yes, I'm willing to split the contract.

[00:13:53] I'm not going to tell you the name of the company, but if I'll tell you a fly, they're one of the

[00:13:57] major counseling, even today.

[00:13:59] And here's little old me, who's never done this before.

[00:14:02] So we're just like, they're up here, and here I am down here.

[00:14:06] And God selected me.

[00:14:08] You know what I mean?

[00:14:09] So it was just so humbling to know that he was going to pick somebody that no name, scared,

[00:14:15] shaken, was still willing to do what I said to do, even though she don't know what to do.

[00:14:19] You see what I'm saying?

[00:14:20] So I said, yes.

[00:14:21] That's how it all started.

[00:14:22] It got to the point where I said, well, I could contract myself out again.

[00:14:26] But then there were seven schools.

[00:14:27] I was like, well, I can't be someplace seven.

[00:14:29] You see what I'm saying?

[00:14:30] Now I have to get a staff.

[00:14:32] So God kept moving and proving himself over and over.

[00:14:36] We started out with counselors only.

[00:14:39] Everything was counselors.

[00:14:40] Then we started applying for positions.

[00:14:42] I did more contracts, and it got more awards.

[00:14:45] Now we have student interventionists.

[00:14:47] Now we have drug and alcohol counselors.

[00:14:48] Now we have behavioral specialists.

[00:14:49] It kept going on and on.

[00:14:51] The Lord was overwhelming me.

[00:14:53] It grew.

[00:14:55] Overwhelming me.

[00:14:56] I was just like-

[00:14:56] You got to do it when he gives you an idea.

[00:14:59] We think real small, and God is so huge.

[00:15:03] Okay, go ahead.

[00:15:04] I'm sorry.

[00:15:04] It was overwhelming me.

[00:15:06] So even as I just was stepping out into what he was calling me to, things were happening.

[00:15:11] And beautiful things.

[00:15:12] And then some bad things started to happen.

[00:15:14] The enemy really started.

[00:15:15] I guess he said, uh-huh.

[00:15:17] You think you're just going to be cakewalk?

[00:15:20] No, it wasn't a cakewalk.

[00:15:21] There were many times you didn't know this, even while you were working.

[00:15:23] There were times where I didn't know how I was going to make payroll.

[00:15:25] I was like, Lord, the money.

[00:15:27] People are working.

[00:15:28] Money is being generated.

[00:15:30] But some of the dishes were very slow to pay.

[00:15:32] It's like I have money, but I don't have it in my hand.

[00:15:35] I got to the point where I told the district, I said, I'm going to have to start pulling people out.

[00:15:39] Because this hole is getting bigger and bigger.

[00:15:41] I remember one particular time, and I can share this with you now.

[00:15:44] God rest his soul.

[00:15:45] My dad, I said, Dad, I need about, I think I asked him for $8,000.

[00:15:49] I said, I need at least $8,000.

[00:15:51] And I said, I have to make payroll.

[00:15:53] I said, I'm good for it.

[00:15:53] He said, I know you're good for it.

[00:15:54] I said, the district has my money.

[00:15:56] They're holding me up.

[00:15:56] But I have payroll coming up.

[00:15:58] He said, no problem.

[00:15:59] He took out his checkbook.

[00:16:00] And he started writing.

[00:16:01] I said, don't go ahead.

[00:16:02] I wish I had to ask for 20.

[00:16:03] I needed 20.

[00:16:04] But I didn't have the confidence to ask for what I really need.

[00:16:07] I just said, I'll ask for it.

[00:16:09] He'll give me $8,000.

[00:16:10] And I said, Lord, I can't even believe this.

[00:16:12] So anyway, that $8,000 helped me.

[00:16:14] And I was so grateful that before he went on to Gloria, I wrote the check.

[00:16:18] I said, Dad, here's the money.

[00:16:19] I got paid.

[00:16:22] Everything was fine.

[00:16:23] But I had to really threaten to start taking people out of the schools.

[00:16:26] Because this hole was getting bigger.

[00:16:28] You guys didn't want to hear me say, I'm sorry, but I can't pay you this week.

[00:16:32] No, that's not.

[00:16:33] I can't do that.

[00:16:34] But internally, it was like things were being held up.

[00:16:37] But that's why I would go back to the table and say, OK, Holy Spirit, what are we going

[00:16:40] to do about this?

[00:16:42] You know, this is not a me thing.

[00:16:44] This is me and you.

[00:16:45] What are we going to do?

[00:16:46] I'm just a good steward over what you gave me.

[00:16:48] How are we going to handle this?

[00:16:50] He was faithful, faithful, faithful.

[00:16:52] Every step of the way, faithful.

[00:16:54] Other things went wrong.

[00:16:55] Other things, serious things where we had to put some even stronger measures in place

[00:17:01] where it came to vetting people with things that were happening.

[00:17:03] But it was like God was covering us.

[00:17:06] It was like at the boardroom table, I imagine I'm at a tape at one end of the table.

[00:17:11] He's at the other end.

[00:17:12] This is how he was doing it.

[00:17:14] So I think no bones about it that this company belongs to God.

[00:17:17] I am a servant.

[00:17:18] I'm a servant leader.

[00:17:19] And I follow after the Holy Spirit.

[00:17:23] I just kept doing that, doing that.

[00:17:25] He just kept opening and blessing and blessing and blessing.

[00:17:28] So much so where we had prior to the pandemic, we had over 160 plus people working.

[00:17:33] The four districts we had.

[00:17:35] All those districts, Randy One, Colonial, Red Clay, and Christina School District.

[00:17:40] Out of that, we had 169 folks plus working for us.

[00:17:44] We had a substitute list.

[00:17:45] If the regular people called out, we had to pull from the substitute list.

[00:17:48] You see what I'm saying?

[00:17:51] When you follow God, hallelujah.

[00:17:54] When you follow him, he'll make every crooked place straight.

[00:17:57] And that's what he was doing for the company.

[00:18:00] So I am a servant and I always give him go.

[00:18:02] And I even told even one last year when I started thinking about the retirement.

[00:18:06] And I said, Janae, if you do these things, I'll tell you where your success lies.

[00:18:11] Keep the Holy Spirit present.

[00:18:14] Always.

[00:18:15] So, you know what I mean?

[00:18:15] These are things that you have to do.

[00:18:18] If you don't, then I'm not, I can't, you know, I'm not responsible.

[00:18:21] I'm not coming back.

[00:18:22] I'm done.

[00:18:22] I'm going in a whole new season.

[00:18:27] Yes.

[00:18:28] Yes.

[00:18:28] I thank God that she's a godly woman.

[00:18:30] She knows the whole, she knows God as her personal Lord and Savior.

[00:18:33] She's following suit.

[00:18:34] The things I've done, it's just like she's still, she's just following along.

[00:18:38] And most importantly, she's following after him.

[00:18:40] Are you going over there every now and again and look around?

[00:18:43] Oh, we would have, for today, every Wednesday we have lunch together.

[00:18:47] I don't go to the Rockstar.

[00:18:48] We just meet at a restaurant.

[00:18:49] I don't always know anything.

[00:18:51] It's going to office because she got it.

[00:18:52] Are you still a resource for her to come to you?

[00:18:54] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:18:56] If she needs to.

[00:18:57] But the thing about it is, is that two years prior to me retiring, Janae was already doing

[00:19:03] the job.

[00:19:36] And it's just been a wonderful thing how I'll ask, hey, everything's going well.

[00:19:43] We've got this contract.

[00:19:45] Just great things are happening because she's following suit.

[00:19:48] She's got, she's partnered with the Holy Spirit.

[00:19:51] He's the most important person on this earth.

[00:19:53] That's how I see it.

[00:19:57] I love this testimony because I think people think that in order to pass a torch, you have

[00:20:02] to be in a pulpit, but you can pass a business.

[00:23:11] Well, two years earlier, I had joined.

[00:23:18] And so I started teaching on that platform, which I still teach today, Mondays and Tuesdays.

[00:23:22] But I'm the fourth quarter teacher and I teach on the kingdom.

[00:23:25] You know, so this coming May, beginning of May, I'll be teaching kingdom covenants.

[00:23:30] So I've been doing that for a while.

[00:23:31] I'm also one of the associate deans on her platform.

[00:23:34] So very, that was one thing.

[00:23:35] So I said, I'm a teacher at heart.

[00:23:36] That's one of the gifts that God has given me.

[00:23:55] But what he told me was, he brought me right to the book of Judges.

[00:23:59] And I wrote it down, Judges chapter 2, verse 10.

[00:24:03] And what it says is, I'll go right to 10.

[00:24:06] But at some point, you want to read the whole thing.

[00:24:08] But when all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose

[00:24:13] after them who did not know the Lord, nor the work which he had done for Israel.

[00:24:18] And you know, this whole story was after Joshua was old, conquered, and did all the great

[00:24:22] things he did.

[00:24:23] Then he died.

[00:24:24] The people just went haywire.

[00:24:26] They just started serving other gods.

[00:24:28] And God was angry and just all of that.

[00:24:30] But that verse 10, there was a whole generation that didn't know God.

[00:24:33] I said, well, not on my watch they won't.

[00:24:36] So my response to that was, Lord, I got to do something.

[00:29:53] because that's the only thing

[00:29:54] that's going to stand

[00:29:56] The word will never pass.

[00:29:57] It will never fail.

[00:29:58] It's the only thing that's going to stand.
