00:01:41 --> 00:01:44 British and your mother is from Ghana
00:01:44 --> 00:01:47 right ghana and British yes ghanaian and
00:01:47 --> 00:01:50 British okay and you now live in the
00:01:50 --> 00:01:52 States in New York

00:01:55 --> 00:01:57 Carrie she carrying the five-fold so I'm
00:01:57 --> 00:01:59 excited i uh we were talking and she was
00:01:59 --> 00:02:01 like "What are we gonna talk about do
00:02:01 --> 00:02:02 you have questions?" I was like "No I
00:02:02 --> 00:02:03 just move prophetically we're going to
00:02:03 --> 00:02:05 see what the Lord gonna say." And I'm
00:02:05 --> 00:02:06 going to tell you this is my last
00:02:06 --> 00:02:08 podcast in this series and let me tell
00:02:08 --> 00:02:11 you how amazing God is y'all i started
00:02:11 --> 00:02:14 this whole uh journey out because I
00:02:14 --> 00:02:18 answered the call and that's how I got
00:02:18 --> 00:02:19 this book let me tell you we we can we
00:02:19 --> 00:02:22 talk uh uh Minister Lynn so what
00:02:22 --> 00:02:23 happened was I had started this journey
00:02:23 --> 00:02:25 off I didn't mess up my little bookcase
00:02:25 --> 00:02:29 with um a journey on my yes and when I
00:02:29 --> 00:02:32 answered my yes the Lord took me on this
00:02:32 --> 00:02:35 journey of faith because you know your
00:02:35 --> 00:02:37 faith gets increased because that's what
00:02:37 --> 00:02:39 the enemy comes from the enemy comes to
00:02:39 --> 00:02:40 try your faith because it takes faith to
00:02:40 --> 00:02:44 please God so I was like okay Lord so
00:02:44 --> 00:02:47 step by step just being obedient being
00:02:47 --> 00:02:48 obedient not knowing where God was
00:02:48 --> 00:02:49 taking me not knowing what he was doing
00:02:49 --> 00:02:51 I just knew I gave a yes and I gave for
00:02:51 --> 00:02:53 real this time because I had gave her
00:02:53 --> 00:02:56 yes before but my other gave when I was
00:02:56 --> 00:02:56 in
00:02:56 --> 00:02:59 trouble or you know I was really in
00:02:59 --> 00:03:00 trouble so you know I'm like oh God if
00:03:00 --> 00:03:02 you do it this time I promise I'm going
00:03:02 --> 00:03:04 to serve you oh Lord if you do it this
00:03:04 --> 00:03:06 time I promise I won't turn back you
00:03:06 --> 00:03:08 know but then as soon as he fixed it I
00:03:08 --> 00:03:09 would go right back to what I was doing
00:03:09 --> 00:03:12 I wasn't okay so when I gave my yes for
00:03:12 --> 00:03:14 real the Lord be to take me on this
00:03:14 --> 00:03:18 journey and on this journey I wrote the
00:03:18 --> 00:03:19 birthing room so this is what this
00:03:20 --> 00:03:21 podcast is all about It's about me
00:03:21 --> 00:03:24 giving my yes so this podcast was built
00:03:24 --> 00:03:27 so people had a place to come and you
00:03:27 --> 00:03:29 see the glory but you don't know the
00:03:29 --> 00:03:32 story so it's an opportunity for people
00:03:32 --> 00:03:34 to see listen I see where Minister Lynn
00:03:34 --> 00:03:37 is she must have been saved all her life
00:03:37 --> 00:03:38 she's beautiful she's anointed she knows
00:03:38 --> 00:03:40 the word of God she must have been
00:03:40 --> 00:03:43 studying that all her life she must have
00:03:43 --> 00:03:45 been practicing God from she was a baby
00:03:45 --> 00:03:47 i done sinned too much i done did too
00:03:47 --> 00:03:48 much i done been to places god
00:03:48 --> 00:03:50 definitely can't use me anymore that's
00:03:50 --> 00:03:53 what people think but if they knew that
00:03:53 --> 00:03:55 I just got up at 37 and I'm only 46
00:03:55 --> 00:03:57 right now they would know that's not a
00:03:57 --> 00:04:00 big window for the Lord to say "Listen
00:04:00 --> 00:04:03 I'm going I'm a redeemer of the time i'm
00:04:03 --> 00:04:05 going to propel you into your destiny."
00:04:05 --> 00:04:09 So I I'm so excited that you said "I'm
00:04:09 --> 00:04:11 going to talk about giving my guest." So

00:04:51 --> 00:04:54 essence that's what God is is seeking
00:04:54 --> 00:04:56 all right from all of us our Yes all
00:04:56 --> 00:04:59 right my name is Elyn Brenford um I
00:05:00 --> 00:05:03 would say I'm the second of four sisters
00:05:03 --> 00:05:05 uh born to a British father and a
00:05:05 --> 00:05:09 British Ghanaian uh mom uh I am a lover
00:05:09 --> 00:05:11 of Christ i love the Trinity God the
00:05:11 --> 00:05:13 Father God the Son and God the Holy
00:05:14 --> 00:05:16 Spirit i'm also a worshipper and a song
00:05:16 --> 00:05:19 writer uh with the aim of producing a
00:05:19 --> 00:05:22 worship and praise songs that reflects a
00:05:22 --> 00:05:25 life in a pasture of daily submission to
00:05:25 --> 00:05:28 the Holy Spirit uh I have also I can
00:05:28 --> 00:05:30 proudly say I have availed myself about
00:05:30 --> 00:05:33 to use uh to be a vessel to speak the
00:05:33 --> 00:05:35 word and not just only sing it but I
00:05:35 --> 00:05:39 also preach as well and uh I speak life
00:05:39 --> 00:05:43 and hope to empower women I would say
00:05:43 --> 00:05:47 and the body of Christ uh at large um
00:05:47 --> 00:05:49 you know to pursue a kingdom purpose
00:05:49 --> 00:05:53 life um so I find great fulfillment in
00:05:53 --> 00:05:57 using my gifts and talents and abilities
00:05:57 --> 00:06:00 and all the blessings God is giving me
00:06:00 --> 00:06:03 uh to be a blessing to God's people and
00:06:03 --> 00:06:07 so uh that's me uh overall uh
00:06:07 --> 00:06:09 professionally I'd say I work for a New
00:06:09 --> 00:06:12 York-based consulting firm uh in the
00:06:12 --> 00:06:16 healthcare industry uh I do uh socially
00:06:16 --> 00:06:19 I say I'm greatly inspired uh and and
00:06:19 --> 00:06:21 passionate and driven by social issues
00:06:21 --> 00:06:24 that affect African women and girls and
00:06:24 --> 00:06:28 so I I am uh on the journey of helping
00:06:28 --> 00:06:31 to contribute finding solutions uh to
00:06:31 --> 00:06:33 social the various social issues that
00:06:34 --> 00:06:36 affect African women and girls you know
00:06:36 --> 00:06:39 especially the marginalized ones i do
00:06:39 --> 00:06:43 Africa a lot i am half Ghanaian um and
00:06:43 --> 00:06:45 so I go to Ghana a lot and my heart goes
00:06:45 --> 00:06:49 out to marginalized women you know uh on
00:06:50 --> 00:06:52 the continent and so African women and
00:06:52 --> 00:06:56 girls I would say mean a lot to me um I
00:06:56 --> 00:06:59 I I play a general role in offering a
00:07:00 --> 00:07:03 public voice advocate inspire I promote
00:07:03 --> 00:07:07 and support um their cause as well uh
00:07:07 --> 00:07:09 currently I serve as a volunteer
00:07:09 --> 00:07:13 director uh to a New York-based NGO
00:07:13 --> 00:07:16 called Gifted uh dedicated to inspiring
00:07:16 --> 00:07:20 um the global community to support
00:07:20 --> 00:07:23 education for African African girls you
00:07:23 --> 00:07:27 know so uh this is me this is what I do
00:07:27 --> 00:07:31 um how did it all start my god I I don't
00:07:32 --> 00:07:33 even know where to start from listen
00:07:33 --> 00:07:36 guys I grew up in church i really really
00:07:36 --> 00:07:39 grew up in church i was that church girl
00:07:39 --> 00:07:41 um I'm not perfect let me make it very
00:07:42 --> 00:07:44 clear but I gave my life to Christ when
00:07:44 --> 00:07:47 I was about 13 or so you know quite
00:07:47 --> 00:07:50 early in my teenage years and I love the
00:07:50 --> 00:07:54 Lord i was I literally latched onto God
00:07:54 --> 00:07:58 like my everything that he's supposed to
00:07:58 --> 00:08:00 be all right
00:08:00 --> 00:08:03 um and then funny enough I joined a
00:08:04 --> 00:08:07 prayer group uh it was by default I say
00:08:07 --> 00:08:09 not because I wanted to join we were
00:08:09 --> 00:08:11 young kids and we were pulled into a
00:08:12 --> 00:08:13 prayer group and for some reason I just
00:08:13 --> 00:08:16 fell in love I fell in love with prayer
00:08:16 --> 00:08:19 and so we did a bunch of that and during
00:08:19 --> 00:08:22 the prayer meetings um we didn't have
00:08:22 --> 00:08:26 singers so they would kind of rotate
00:08:26 --> 00:08:28 like okay today somebody because we had
00:08:28 --> 00:08:30 to do a little worship before we would
00:08:30 --> 00:08:33 start the prayer session yeah and so uh
00:08:33 --> 00:08:37 we were pulled in you know one by one so
00:08:37 --> 00:08:39 this week uh prayer meeting it will be
00:08:39 --> 00:08:41 you leading worship let's say praise and
00:08:41 --> 00:08:43 worship for 30 minutes so that's how my
00:08:44 --> 00:08:47 worship ministry started i didn't plan
00:08:47 --> 00:08:49 out to be a worshipper it wasn't you
00:08:49 --> 00:08:51 know but God had it all planned out for
00:08:51 --> 00:08:54 me i thought I was just going with the
00:08:54 --> 00:08:56 flow you know it was even very difficult
00:08:56 --> 00:08:59 for me to to step up to the plate to be
00:08:59 --> 00:09:01 at the forefront because I was not that
00:09:01 --> 00:09:04 kind of girl you know I like to be at
00:09:04 --> 00:09:06 the forefront you know supporting
00:09:06 --> 00:09:08 everybody else i was the background
00:09:08 --> 00:09:11 musician for a long long long time
00:09:11 --> 00:09:13 because that's that's where I wanted to
00:09:13 --> 00:09:15 be i felt very comfortable in my comfort
00:09:16 --> 00:09:19 zone because that's where I liked to be
00:09:19 --> 00:09:22 you know but for some reason uh God was
00:09:22 --> 00:09:25 just pulling something out of me you
00:09:25 --> 00:09:28 know wherever I went whatever group I
00:09:28 --> 00:09:32 joined like I was always called to to
00:09:32 --> 00:09:34 lead i always called to do to play a a
00:09:34 --> 00:09:37 leading role in some sense you know it
00:09:37 --> 00:09:39 was very difficult for me because I
00:09:39 --> 00:09:41 wasn't that kind of person i was very
00:09:41 --> 00:09:44 shy you know I didn't want to be in
00:09:44 --> 00:09:46 front of people doing anything you know
00:09:46 --> 00:09:49 I I did my best at the back and so for
00:09:50 --> 00:09:52 me being at the back was great it was
00:09:52 --> 00:09:55 fine i'm good lord you know I love you i
00:09:55 --> 00:09:57 just want to be at the back you know
00:09:57 --> 00:09:59 because I feel
00:09:59 --> 00:10:02 like some people were called to be in
00:10:02 --> 00:10:04 the forefront and some people at the
00:10:04 --> 00:10:06 back and for me I thought I was that
00:10:06 --> 00:10:08 kind of back girl i always wanted to be
00:10:08 --> 00:10:12 at the back but um you know it was so
00:10:12 --> 00:10:15 funny like all the things in ministry
00:10:15 --> 00:10:18 that I would be part of some way somehow
00:10:18 --> 00:10:19 I just got thrown
00:10:19 --> 00:10:23 into into leading
00:10:23 --> 00:10:24 so eventually with the prayer group that
00:10:24 --> 00:10:27 I joined I became a leader and then of
00:10:27 --> 00:10:31 of all the the singing that we're doing
00:10:31 --> 00:10:33 you know I didn't I had not intended to
00:10:33 --> 00:10:35 do it professionally or anything again
00:10:35 --> 00:10:38 as I said I it was just by default we
00:10:38 --> 00:10:41 had to rotate for somebody to start the
00:10:41 --> 00:10:44 worship and so I got thrown into it and
00:10:44 --> 00:10:47 then over time I became good at it and
00:10:47 --> 00:10:50 then I kept on and then you know I
00:10:50 --> 00:10:52 joined a ministry you know I grew grew
00:10:52 --> 00:10:54 up in Methodist let me put it that way
00:10:54 --> 00:10:56 then over time
00:10:56 --> 00:11:00 Oh really well that makes the two of us
00:11:00 --> 00:11:05 minister methodist pastor I should say
00:11:05 --> 00:11:07 methodist pastor
00:11:07 --> 00:11:11 wow awesome awesome that's my background
00:11:11 --> 00:11:14 love love love love love i love it i
00:11:14 --> 00:11:18 mean we had a wonderful time um and then
00:11:18 --> 00:11:21 I we relocated my family relocated to to
00:11:21 --> 00:11:24 a bigger city and so we ended joining a
00:11:24 --> 00:11:27 charismatic Pentecostal ministry and so
00:11:27 --> 00:11:28 I served that ministry for a bunch of
00:11:28 --> 00:11:32 years and in that ministry I was um I
00:11:32 --> 00:11:34 joined the singing group as well you
00:11:34 --> 00:11:36 know the worship the praise and worship
00:11:36 --> 00:11:38 and then eventually I became a solo like
00:11:38 --> 00:11:40 they would call me to come and lead solo
00:11:40 --> 00:11:44 sing I'll lead the worship group but
00:11:44 --> 00:11:46 still for me it was like okay I love the
00:11:46 --> 00:11:49 Lord this is my little thing I'm doing
00:11:49 --> 00:11:51 you know to contribute you know in the
00:11:51 --> 00:11:53 house of God and all of that because we
00:11:53 --> 00:11:55 were told that you have to do something
00:11:55 --> 00:11:57 in the house of God do something warm
00:11:57 --> 00:12:01 the pews and just get out so in my
00:12:01 --> 00:12:03 little mind at the time young girl
00:12:03 --> 00:12:06 growing up you know early teens mid-
00:12:06 --> 00:12:08 teens late teens you know I was still
00:12:08 --> 00:12:11 singing and all of that and then I
00:12:11 --> 00:12:14 relocated to the States so I joined
00:12:14 --> 00:12:16 another ministry here that I served for
00:12:16 --> 00:12:19 over 13 years and my pastor at the time
00:12:19 --> 00:12:24 knew me that I I do sing as well oh I
00:12:24 --> 00:12:27 used saw me years ago that I was singing
00:12:27 --> 00:12:29 so he's like "Oh my god you you have to
00:12:29 --> 00:12:32 to sing here too." I'm like he's like
00:12:32 --> 00:12:34 "Yeah we we need you." Like he would not
00:12:34 --> 00:12:38 let me just sit down and you know so he
00:12:38 --> 00:12:40 literally forced the microphone on me
00:12:40 --> 00:12:43 and then Okay great so I started doing
00:12:43 --> 00:12:45 it you know I do the usual praise and
00:12:46 --> 00:12:48 worship on Sundays and doing special
00:12:48 --> 00:12:49 programs and
00:12:49 --> 00:12:55 stuff and the prophecies begun
00:12:55 --> 00:12:59 yes so about 20 years ago and prior to
00:12:59 --> 00:13:01 that I had received some prophetic words
00:13:01 --> 00:13:05 on my life that God was going to use me
00:13:05 --> 00:13:08 and I was very
00:13:08 --> 00:13:11 devastated and I'm sorry to say guys no
00:13:11 --> 00:13:14 i hope you guys want it as raw as it can
00:13:14 --> 00:13:17 be all of you were being devastated too
00:13:17 --> 00:13:19 so come on and help us i was devastated
00:13:19 --> 00:13:22 because as a young girl I had a vision i
00:13:22 --> 00:13:25 had a plan you know i wanted to to go to
00:13:26 --> 00:13:29 school and become something great and
00:13:29 --> 00:13:31 and because my understanding was like
00:13:31 --> 00:13:33 "No I didn't want to I didn't want to be
00:13:33 --> 00:13:35 a preacher i didn't want to be a
00:13:35 --> 00:13:36 preacher i just wanna I wanted to have
00:13:36 --> 00:13:38 my career go to school have my career
00:13:38 --> 00:13:39 and everything else."
00:13:39 --> 00:13:43 Like so I was devastated when this man
00:13:43 --> 00:13:45 gave me this prophet he said God is
00:13:45 --> 00:13:47 going to use you mighty in the in the
00:13:47 --> 00:13:49 evangelistic ministry as well as worship
00:13:49 --> 00:13:52 and and then the prophetic as well i'm
00:13:52 --> 00:13:55 like no I don't want to be a preacher i
00:13:55 --> 00:13:57 don't want to be a preacher you know but
00:13:57 --> 00:14:00 so I just I I left that word alone me I
00:14:00 --> 00:14:01 was going about my business and
00:14:01 --> 00:14:03 everything else
00:14:03 --> 00:14:07 so about 20 years ago or so a prophet
00:14:07 --> 00:14:12 came to a a church and gave me a similar
00:14:12 --> 00:14:15 word and he said "The earlier you accept
00:14:15 --> 00:14:18 this the better it is fool
00:14:18 --> 00:14:21 you." It it was I went home as a matter
00:14:21 --> 00:14:24 of fact he gave me an example of a woman
00:14:24 --> 00:14:26 of God that God was going to use me like
00:14:26 --> 00:14:28 this woman and I had heard this
00:14:28 --> 00:14:31 particular woman years ago but I'm like
00:14:31 --> 00:14:34 "No I want to be a preacher i just But
00:14:34 --> 00:14:37 God I I am I'm in your house i love you
00:14:37 --> 00:14:39 i'm serving you i'm in the worship
00:14:39 --> 00:14:41 ministry as a matter of fact I'm a
00:14:41 --> 00:14:44 worship leader so what else do you want
00:14:44 --> 00:14:46 from me?" Like I have already given you
00:14:46 --> 00:14:50 my life you know right so I'm like "But
00:14:50 --> 00:14:52 God what
00:14:52 --> 00:14:54 else?" So I left that alone when I was
00:14:54 --> 00:14:57 pursuing my education because for me you
00:14:57 --> 00:15:00 know I was I had set my blueprint this
00:15:00 --> 00:15:02 is what I'm going to do and that's what
00:15:02 --> 00:15:04 I'm going to do at this time and that
00:15:04 --> 00:15:07 time so I was pursuing my own
00:15:07 --> 00:15:11 thing but then there were these nudges
00:15:11 --> 00:15:14 like you know over time there would
00:15:14 --> 00:15:17 nudge a nudge would come
00:15:17 --> 00:15:21 like something was just you know calling
00:15:21 --> 00:15:25 me into the deep come on
00:15:25 --> 00:15:28 and I mean I'm saying something because
00:15:28 --> 00:15:30 at the time I was still kind of battling
00:15:30 --> 00:15:32 with it but we all know what that
00:15:32 --> 00:15:35 something is it was the voice of God but
00:15:35 --> 00:15:37 still I was struggling with it i was
00:15:37 --> 00:15:39 struggling with with that you know it
00:15:40 --> 00:15:42 became clear over time that God was and
00:15:42 --> 00:15:45 then the prophetic words began to
00:15:45 --> 00:15:48 increase like everywhere I attended
00:15:48 --> 00:15:51 anything like I I would get called and
00:15:51 --> 00:15:53 these words would be released upon my
00:15:53 --> 00:15:57 life i became very miserable because to
00:15:57 --> 00:15:58 be honest with you it wasn't something I
00:15:58 --> 00:16:01 wanted to do it really wasn't i love the
00:16:01 --> 00:16:04 Lord and I thought God but I'm in your
00:16:04 --> 00:16:07 house i'm doing your work i'm a worship
00:16:07 --> 00:16:09 leader what
00:16:09 --> 00:16:13 else and then over time I think around

00:16:46 --> 00:16:49 the things almost like the self-seeking
00:16:49 --> 00:16:52 uh visions and the plans that I had for
00:16:52 --> 00:16:55 myself something was just a voice at
00:16:55 --> 00:16:59 that time kept on not you know it was
00:16:59 --> 00:17:04 just constant in my ears telling me "Get
00:17:04 --> 00:17:07 closer to me i need you to read your
00:17:07 --> 00:17:11 Bible more i need you so around 2015 I
00:17:11 --> 00:17:15 said "Lord this voice is just too much."
00:17:15 --> 00:17:18 I began I said "Okay I'm going to read
00:17:18 --> 00:17:20 my Bible more maybe if I start reading
00:17:20 --> 00:17:23 you will leave me alone." Like you know
00:17:23 --> 00:17:25 maybe this voice will just leave my head
00:17:26 --> 00:17:28 you know so I started reading my v my my
00:17:28 --> 00:17:32 my Bible woman of God it was almost as
00:17:32 --> 00:17:35 if I have fallen in love all over again
00:17:35 --> 00:17:40 with God give him my testimony the
00:17:40 --> 00:17:44 desire to to to want to read the word i
00:17:44 --> 00:17:48 would go to work come rush like I am
00:17:48 --> 00:17:51 rushing to come home to come and
00:17:51 --> 00:17:54 continue reading the word of God and
00:17:54 --> 00:17:56 don't get me wrong I used to prior to
00:17:56 --> 00:17:59 this i was reading my word but it wasn't
00:17:59 --> 00:18:03 as consistent as this kind of new love
00:18:03 --> 00:18:06 that I experienced out of the blue
00:18:06 --> 00:18:09 whichever way I want to put it like I I
00:18:09 --> 00:18:12 just fell in love with God all over
00:18:12 --> 00:18:15 again and now there were certain things
00:18:15 --> 00:18:17 that were not pleasing to God it's
00:18:18 --> 00:18:20 almost as if somebody had taken a razor
00:18:20 --> 00:18:25 and was just shaving them off
00:18:25 --> 00:18:28 just shaving them off my mind began to
00:18:28 --> 00:18:32 be renewed there were things that I felt
00:18:32 --> 00:18:34 you know there a lot of person let me
00:18:34 --> 00:18:36 put this way we operate on the
00:18:36 --> 00:18:39 borderline of Christianity let me put it
00:18:39 --> 00:18:42 that way and now it became very clear to
00:18:42 --> 00:18:45 me the word of God started transforming
00:18:45 --> 00:18:47 me transforming my life or transformed
00:18:47 --> 00:18:50 my life to the point that nobody had to
00:18:50 --> 00:18:52 tell me how to dress nobody had to tell
00:18:52 --> 00:18:54 me how to speak nobody had to tell me
00:18:54 --> 00:18:57 how to behave it was almost like the
00:18:57 --> 00:19:00 Holy Spirit our constant helper the
00:19:00 --> 00:19:04 Bible says he had become this person i
00:19:04 --> 00:19:08 could feel his presence i could feel his
00:19:08 --> 00:19:11 voice i could feel I could feel him oh
00:19:11 --> 00:19:14 thank you Holy Spirit i could feel
00:19:14 --> 00:19:18 him so close yes that he started
00:19:18 --> 00:19:21 teaching me what to do how to do it what
00:19:21 --> 00:19:24 to say what not to say what to do what
00:19:24 --> 00:19:26 not to do
00:19:26 --> 00:19:31 so he began to just shred things that
00:19:31 --> 00:19:35 were not glorifying God at the time
00:19:35 --> 00:19:39 and then he purified me renewed my faith
00:19:39 --> 00:19:44 purified me and then when he did that
00:19:44 --> 00:19:47 for a couple months as I continued to
00:19:47 --> 00:19:50 delve into the word and kept on reading
00:19:50 --> 00:19:53 I began to have revelations and that is
00:19:53 --> 00:19:56 when I started hearing his audible voice
00:19:56 --> 00:19:58 the voice of God
00:19:58 --> 00:20:02 audibly and then he told me that I need
00:20:02 --> 00:20:04 you to start
00:20:04 --> 00:20:08 writing i said "Writing writing songs?"
00:20:08 --> 00:20:09 I said "But God but you know I don't
00:20:09 --> 00:20:12 want to I don't want to I don't want to
00:20:12 --> 00:20:14 be a professional thing like that's not
00:20:14 --> 00:20:17 what I signed up for i'm in church for
00:20:17 --> 00:20:18 me coming to church and leading praise
00:20:18 --> 00:20:20 of worship Sunday morning or during
00:20:20 --> 00:20:23 special pro it was fine it was fine lord
00:20:23 --> 00:20:25 this is fine no you're pushing it too
00:20:25 --> 00:20:27 much Lord like why are you getting you
00:20:28 --> 00:20:29 let me I don't want to be a professional
00:20:29 --> 00:20:32 singer i don't want to you know he said
00:20:32 --> 00:20:34 I want you to start writing and prior to
00:20:34 --> 00:20:36 that I had received words of prophecies
00:20:36 --> 00:20:38 that I was going to write songs but at
00:20:38 --> 00:20:39 the back of my mind I felt like you
00:20:39 --> 00:20:42 needed to go to school you needed to be
00:20:42 --> 00:20:46 specially trained listen guys the Holy
00:20:46 --> 00:20:49 Spirit is the greatest trainer you can
00:20:49 --> 00:20:54 ever find on earth yes on earth
00:20:54 --> 00:20:57 so I thought I needed to go to school
00:20:57 --> 00:20:59 you know to learn how to write
00:20:59 --> 00:21:03 musically it was not so for me the
00:21:03 --> 00:21:06 moment he purged me renewed my mind
00:21:06 --> 00:21:09 transformed my life and I began to hear
00:21:09 --> 00:21:10 from him
00:21:10 --> 00:21:14 audibly and I I I continue to read the
00:21:14 --> 00:21:17 word his word the word of God my dear I
00:21:18 --> 00:21:20 will be sleeping in the middle of the
00:21:20 --> 00:21:22 night and the spirit of the Lord will
00:21:22 --> 00:21:26 wake me up and give me a melody in my
00:21:26 --> 00:21:29 head like I'm hearing melodies so at
00:21:29 --> 00:21:31 this point in 2015 I'm hearing like
00:21:31 --> 00:21:34 melodies upon melodies about like wait a
00:21:34 --> 00:21:38 minute and I'm trying to figure out like
00:21:38 --> 00:21:40 do these songs exist but then they don't
00:21:40 --> 00:21:42 exist like you know I tried to figure
00:21:42 --> 00:21:45 like okay Lord are you what what does
00:21:45 --> 00:21:48 that mean he said record so I started
00:21:48 --> 00:21:51 recording where I heard the melodies I
00:21:51 --> 00:21:53 would sing and record them you know as
00:21:53 --> 00:21:57 takes and then some of the times too he
00:21:57 --> 00:22:01 would give me um like things to write
00:22:01 --> 00:22:02 you know the lyrics the particular
00:22:02 --> 00:22:04 lyrics to write so I started
00:22:04 --> 00:22:08 writing and there was a great well is
00:22:08 --> 00:22:10 he's still my producer amazing friend of
00:22:10 --> 00:22:13 mine whom we had met about 10 years ago
00:22:13 --> 00:22:15 and he told me because I was singing
00:22:15 --> 00:22:17 casually you know doing programs and
00:22:17 --> 00:22:19 stuff nothing too crazy he said "I'mma
00:22:19 --> 00:22:21 produce you one day." And he bugged me
00:22:21 --> 00:22:23 and bugged me and bugged me i didn't pay
00:22:23 --> 00:22:25 him any so when the spirit of Lord
00:22:25 --> 00:22:27 started leading me to write I'm like
00:22:27 --> 00:22:30 "Lord now you're going to lead me to
00:22:30 --> 00:22:32 whoever you want to produce this music."
00:22:32 --> 00:22:35 And before that I remember when I
00:22:35 --> 00:22:37 started writing I said "Lord I don't
00:22:37 --> 00:22:40 want to be like anybody else give me a
00:22:40 --> 00:22:43 voice that is authentic to me whatever
00:22:43 --> 00:22:46 you've called me to be I want to be just
00:22:46 --> 00:22:48 that i don't want to sound like anybody
00:22:48 --> 00:22:53 i just want to be me you know and then I
00:22:53 --> 00:22:56 I had a bargain with him i said "Lord
00:22:56 --> 00:22:58 okay I'm only doing this because you
00:22:58 --> 00:23:01 want me to do it." So in that sense give
00:23:01 --> 00:23:04 me spiritfilled songs songs that are
00:23:04 --> 00:23:08 filled by your spirit because I don't
00:23:08 --> 00:23:10 want to go clown i'm not interested in
00:23:10 --> 00:23:15 any of that because I said Lord if you
00:23:15 --> 00:23:16 really really want me to take this thing
00:23:16 --> 00:23:19 seriously then I want to do it for your
00:23:19 --> 00:23:23 pleasing alone alone for your pleasing
00:23:23 --> 00:23:25 for your glory and for your pleasing
00:23:25 --> 00:23:29 alone i'm not going to follow any clout
00:23:29 --> 00:23:32 any nothing that's not what I'm about so
00:23:32 --> 00:23:35 Lord give me spiritfilled songs that are
00:23:35 --> 00:23:37 wordbased and everything and that's
00:23:37 --> 00:23:39 exactly what he gave me so I reached out
00:23:39 --> 00:23:41 to my good friend who's a producer and I
00:23:41 --> 00:23:42 said I want to come to the studio to
00:23:42 --> 00:23:45 record he was so shocked because he had
00:23:45 --> 00:23:47 been bugging me for years and I'm like
00:23:47 --> 00:23:49 me I don't want to be a professional
00:23:49 --> 00:23:51 singer no that's not that's not that
00:23:51 --> 00:23:53 that's not part of it i I didn't sign up
00:23:53 --> 00:23:56 for that you know so anyway I went to
00:23:56 --> 00:23:59 the studio started preparing and then uh
00:23:59 --> 00:24:02 that Godman led me to release my first
00:24:02 --> 00:24:04 album in 2016
00:24:04 --> 00:24:08 uh dubbed soon coming with nine songs on
00:24:08 --> 00:24:11 their one instrumentals um and so that
00:24:11 --> 00:24:13 was the beginning of my worship ministry
00:24:13 --> 00:24:16 uh so I continue to minister you know
00:24:16 --> 00:24:19 when I'm needed how I'm led by the
00:24:19 --> 00:24:23 spirit of the Lord and then come
00:24:23 --> 00:24:26 2018 a very very very remarkable
00:24:26 --> 00:24:29 interesting year of my life
00:24:29 --> 00:24:33 2018 and so here I am still in the house
00:24:33 --> 00:24:36 of God leading worship leading praise do
00:24:36 --> 00:24:40 my thing you know and the spirit of the
00:24:40 --> 00:24:43 Lord started nudging me again that I
00:24:43 --> 00:24:47 need you deeper i said "Oh my God."
00:24:47 --> 00:24:53 He said "When is this going to be over?"
00:24:53 --> 00:24:58 So so now I gave my really really good
00:24:58 --> 00:25:01 yes around
00:25:01 --> 00:25:05 2015 now 2018 comes a very interesting
00:25:05 --> 00:25:08 year as I said a lot of changes were
00:25:08 --> 00:25:12 going on in my life i had been through a
00:25:12 --> 00:25:17 few personal tsunamis I would say and
00:25:17 --> 00:25:19 I'm sure some of you may relate that
00:25:19 --> 00:25:23 particular year and so I was confused it
00:25:23 --> 00:25:25 was some things that I really was
00:25:25 --> 00:25:27 expecting God to do for me he wasn't
00:25:27 --> 00:25:29 doing it like I had been seeking him in
00:25:29 --> 00:25:31 prayer in everything else and I'm like
00:25:32 --> 00:25:35 Lord what are you doing to me like I
00:25:35 --> 00:25:37 mean I want you if you can do this for
00:25:37 --> 00:25:38 me if you can please do that for me if
00:25:38 --> 00:25:41 you can but you're not saying anything
00:25:41 --> 00:25:45 so come 2019 I was so frustrated i said
00:25:45 --> 00:25:46 "Lord you're going to have to do
00:25:46 --> 00:25:51 something do something." I was heavily
00:25:51 --> 00:25:54 burdened devastated by a few personal
00:25:54 --> 00:25:57 decisions I had made that landed me in
00:25:57 --> 00:25:59 some serious
00:25:59 --> 00:26:02 troubles and so I decided to seek God in
00:26:02 --> 00:26:05 prayer and then I kept on I pray i pray
00:26:05 --> 00:26:08 i pray lord show me something what do
00:26:08 --> 00:26:10 you want me to do what what what is the
00:26:10 --> 00:26:12 direction from here what should I do
00:26:12 --> 00:26:20 where should I go the Lord is just quiet
00:26:20 --> 00:26:23 quiet and that made me more frustrated
00:26:23 --> 00:26:25 because I'm like Lord but you're not but
00:26:25 --> 00:26:28 I'm I'm still serving you but I'm
00:26:28 --> 00:26:31 still And I kept on I kept on
00:26:31 --> 00:26:33 consistently seeking God seeking God
00:26:33 --> 00:26:36 praying and then one day I heard very
00:26:36 --> 00:26:39 clearly he said go back to my will for
00:26:39 --> 00:26:43 your life thank you Lord i said Lord
00:26:43 --> 00:26:44 have
00:26:44 --> 00:26:47 mercy and you know I I I had a sense of
00:26:47 --> 00:26:50 what this will was about which is
00:26:50 --> 00:26:55 exactly what I was running away
00:26:55 --> 00:26:59 from that was a that was a big one
00:26:59 --> 00:27:02 lord is it really time because prior to
00:27:02 --> 00:27:04 this let me say
00:27:05 --> 00:27:08 this in between when I launched my first
00:27:08 --> 00:27:10 album I was beginning with God again
00:27:10 --> 00:27:12 with all the prophetic because the
00:27:12 --> 00:27:13 prophetic words kept coming he said
00:27:13 --> 00:27:15 "Woman you've been called you have to
00:27:15 --> 00:27:16 preach the word you have to preach god
00:27:16 --> 00:27:19 is going to send you." I said "Oh my God
00:27:19 --> 00:27:21 this preaching thing." So but I said
00:27:21 --> 00:27:22 "But
00:27:22 --> 00:27:26 God," but I said "God but but but you
00:27:26 --> 00:27:29 asked me years ago to to to do this song
00:27:29 --> 00:27:32 thing i did no you you really want more
00:27:32 --> 00:27:35 is not enough at least let me let me be
00:27:35 --> 00:27:37 my corner let me do this worship thing
00:27:37 --> 00:27:39 you know like let me let me just leave
00:27:39 --> 00:27:42 the preaching for the preachers you know
00:27:42 --> 00:27:44 let me do my worship thing because at
00:27:44 --> 00:27:48 least that's what people know me for so
00:27:48 --> 00:27:51 I kept on I kept on getting with God i
00:27:51 --> 00:27:53 said Lord please let me Okay all right
00:27:53 --> 00:27:55 all right let's do this lord why don't
00:27:55 --> 00:27:58 you let me achieve the plans that I had
00:27:58 --> 00:28:01 set out for myself maybe in my like 60s
00:28:01 --> 00:28:03 or so you know after I've been able to
00:28:04 --> 00:28:05 achieve all the things that I really
00:28:05 --> 00:28:08 want to do my career and then and then
00:28:08 --> 00:28:11 in my retirement age then I can really
00:28:11 --> 00:28:12 pick up this preaching thing then I can
00:28:12 --> 00:28:15 be going nations wherever you send me
00:28:15 --> 00:28:16 I'm going to
00:28:16 --> 00:28:20 go nothing god was just quiet like I
00:28:20 --> 00:28:22 would be communicating with I said "Lord
00:28:22 --> 00:28:24 but tell me something don't you like
00:28:24 --> 00:28:26 this plan can I just be who I wanted to
00:28:26 --> 00:28:31 be like let me let me try and achieve A
00:28:31 --> 00:28:33 B C and D and then after that you know I
00:28:33 --> 00:28:36 can I can really get on this preaching
00:28:36 --> 00:28:40 thing." And woman of God when I say God
00:28:40 --> 00:28:42 it was almost as the heavens were shut
00:28:42 --> 00:28:44 on
00:28:44 --> 00:28:50 me for a couple years you helping us
00:28:50 --> 00:28:54 shut and you see I wasn't receiving
00:28:54 --> 00:28:57 answers because I was not obedient to
00:28:57 --> 00:29:00 God you wasn't being obedient i wasn't
00:29:00 --> 00:29:04 being obedient to me i felt but God I'm
00:29:04 --> 00:29:06 still in your house and I want to take
00:29:06 --> 00:29:09 this moment to speak to somebody who's
00:29:09 --> 00:29:11 listening to us you might be in the
00:29:11 --> 00:29:13 house of God still doing all the things
00:29:13 --> 00:29:14 you're an usher you're a praise and
00:29:14 --> 00:29:17 worship leader you are you know women's
00:29:18 --> 00:29:22 leader you whatever you're doing maybe
00:29:22 --> 00:29:25 God wants more from you because
00:29:25 --> 00:29:27 eventually what I found out that he had
00:29:27 --> 00:29:30 endowed me with more and I was only
00:29:30 --> 00:29:32 sitting on whatever he had endowed me
00:29:32 --> 00:29:34 with whatever he had blessed me with by
00:29:34 --> 00:29:35 his
00:29:35 --> 00:29:39 grace and I was only operating from my
00:29:39 --> 00:29:43 comfort zone so if the optimal level
00:29:43 --> 00:29:46 that God had given me was 100% i was
00:29:46 --> 00:29:49 probably only operating around 25
00:29:49 --> 00:29:52 that's good so I was cheating God
00:29:52 --> 00:29:55 literally whatever talents and abilities
00:29:55 --> 00:29:58 that he had given me i was running and
00:29:58 --> 00:30:00 running and bargainaining and running
00:30:00 --> 00:30:03 and bargainaining until he wouldn't say
00:30:03 --> 00:30:07 anything to me in my prayer so come
00:30:07 --> 00:30:11 2019 it eventually became clear that God
00:30:11 --> 00:30:14 wanted more from me he needed my heart
00:30:14 --> 00:30:17 yes at that
00:30:17 --> 00:30:21 point I didn't have a choice i really
00:30:22 --> 00:30:24 really did not have a choice because it
00:30:24 --> 00:30:27 was a very painful painful painful
00:30:27 --> 00:30:31 season for me yeah and apparently God
00:30:31 --> 00:30:34 had been waiting at at my heart just
00:30:34 --> 00:30:36 knocking and knocking and knocking and
00:30:36 --> 00:30:40 here I am beaining and and and delaying
00:30:40 --> 00:30:41 and
00:30:41 --> 00:30:44 disobeying and and and you name it a lot
00:30:44 --> 00:30:47 of us have found ourselves in that kind
00:30:47 --> 00:30:50 of places you know we we I'm sure most
00:30:50 --> 00:30:55 of us of delay yes yes the delay the
00:30:55 --> 00:30:58 delay i went through that because again
00:30:58 --> 00:31:03 the idea of being called by God and
00:31:03 --> 00:31:06 fully surrendering to God was a battle
00:31:06 --> 00:31:09 for me and I have to be very honest i
00:31:09 --> 00:31:12 want to be candid here it was a real
00:31:12 --> 00:31:15 battle it was a big big one i battled
00:31:15 --> 00:31:20 with it within myself and then I started
00:31:20 --> 00:31:22 you know the Moses syndrome i started
00:31:22 --> 00:31:24 doing but Lord but you know I'm a little
00:31:24 --> 00:31:27 shy negotiating
00:31:27 --> 00:31:30 yeah but but God but I mean why don't
00:31:30 --> 00:31:32 you let me just do the singing thing
00:31:32 --> 00:31:35 okay fine you you know let me handle
00:31:35 --> 00:31:39 that or but but God but maybe I'm not
00:31:39 --> 00:31:41 you know I don't have what it takes
00:31:41 --> 00:31:45 maybe maybe I'm not anointed enough
00:31:45 --> 00:31:47 maybe I'm not like I
00:31:47 --> 00:31:50 started to
00:31:50 --> 00:31:54 doubt the call of God on my life plain I
00:31:54 --> 00:31:58 just I I didn't believe that he had
00:31:58 --> 00:32:02 graced me with whatever I needed to go
00:32:02 --> 00:32:04 out and take the first
00:32:04 --> 00:32:06 step
00:32:06 --> 00:32:08 so
00:32:08 --> 00:32:12 2019 I said you know what i can't run
00:32:12 --> 00:32:15 anymore i can't hide anymore i can't
00:32:15 --> 00:32:17 fight God
00:32:17 --> 00:32:22 anymore i cannot bargain anymore yes i
00:32:22 --> 00:32:26 wanna I wanna I want to go to God and
00:32:26 --> 00:32:30 just release it all surrender
00:32:30 --> 00:32:33 myself for God to do whatever he wants
00:32:33 --> 00:32:37 to do with my life so I very very hard
00:32:37 --> 00:32:41 yes to God around that time don't get me
00:32:41 --> 00:32:45 wrong I had given him my yes when I was
00:32:45 --> 00:32:47 a
00:32:47 --> 00:32:51 teenager i had given him a soft yes
00:32:51 --> 00:32:53 around
00:32:53 --> 00:32:55 2015 but
00:32:55 --> 00:32:59 2019 was when I reconciled myself with
00:32:59 --> 00:33:02 myself Lord that's when I came to God
00:33:02 --> 00:33:03 and I said
00:33:03 --> 00:33:07 "Lord I cannot do this on my own anymore
00:33:07 --> 00:33:10 i just have to release my plans into
00:33:10 --> 00:33:13 your will and then however way you want
00:33:14 --> 00:33:17 to calibrate it however way you want to
00:33:17 --> 00:33:20 collate it however way you want to align
00:33:20 --> 00:33:23 it for my good and for
00:33:23 --> 00:33:27 your pleasure and for your will and your
00:33:27 --> 00:33:32 purpose do it amen and so I gave I gave
00:33:32 --> 00:33:36 in i gave in and then now I'm
00:33:36 --> 00:33:38 thinking
00:33:38 --> 00:33:43 preaching okay how where how and then
00:33:43 --> 00:33:46 2020 came
00:33:46 --> 00:33:50 2020 came and by March 15th or so
00:33:50 --> 00:33:55 thereabout COVID hit and so around April
00:33:55 --> 00:33:57 May I was talking with a friend and we
00:33:57 --> 00:34:00 were sharing you know spiritual insights
00:34:00 --> 00:34:03 on the word and he said man you there's
00:34:03 --> 00:34:06 something in you i think you know I'm
00:34:06 --> 00:34:08 going to host this program online
00:34:08 --> 00:34:10 because you know it was co a lot of
00:34:10 --> 00:34:12 people had begun doing that's when all
00:34:12 --> 00:34:15 these zoom meetings became a thing and
00:34:15 --> 00:34:19 he said I I really want you to speak to
00:34:19 --> 00:34:22 women because it looks like you're you
00:34:22 --> 00:34:23 have this passion there's this
00:34:23 --> 00:34:25 deep-seated passion you know I feel like
00:34:25 --> 00:34:29 God is calling you to speak to women and
00:34:29 --> 00:34:31 God had already given me some insight on
00:34:31 --> 00:34:33 because when in 2019 when I began to
00:34:34 --> 00:34:36 seek him like Okay what where in you
00:34:36 --> 00:34:38 know where exactly do you want me to
00:34:38 --> 00:34:42 focus with this with this call uh he had
00:34:42 --> 00:34:44 given me an insight so when my friend
00:34:44 --> 00:34:47 told me still I was hesitating i'm like
00:34:47 --> 00:34:49 no you know what I I don't think I'm
00:34:49 --> 00:34:51 ready yet why don't you wait let me let
00:34:51 --> 00:34:55 me prepare proper like let me maybe I
00:34:55 --> 00:34:58 need to go to some school here and do
00:34:58 --> 00:35:01 this and attain this and you know was
00:35:01 --> 00:35:03 still trying to play safe there by the
00:35:04 --> 00:35:07 time I realized he had done the the the

00:35:49 --> 00:35:52 conference yes online it was online
00:35:52 --> 00:35:56 because it was COVID season so we were
00:35:56 --> 00:35:59 you know Zoom meeting and Facebook thing
00:35:59 --> 00:36:01 was you know was not the thing at the
00:36:01 --> 00:36:05 time so that's when my speaking started
00:36:06 --> 00:36:08 and I have never looked back and it was
00:36:08 --> 00:36:13 almost as if a container that had been
00:36:13 --> 00:36:17 open the more I obeyed God the more God
00:36:17 --> 00:36:19 poured into
00:36:19 --> 00:36:24 me the more
00:36:24 --> 00:36:28 I I wanted to do his will with regard to
00:36:28 --> 00:36:31 this extension of the call remember it
00:36:31 --> 00:36:34 was the music ministry that started and
00:36:34 --> 00:36:38 then you know the speaking that he added
00:36:38 --> 00:36:41 to to to it and it was almost as if it's
00:36:41 --> 00:36:44 like a flower that just got it's
00:36:45 --> 00:36:48 like open and getting bloomed i mean
00:36:48 --> 00:36:51 it's when I take the
00:36:51 --> 00:36:53 Bible the spirit of the Lord give me
00:36:53 --> 00:36:57 such insight and understanding that just
00:36:57 --> 00:37:00 blows my mind and so preparing for my
00:37:00 --> 00:37:04 messages became a lot easier because I
00:37:04 --> 00:37:07 it God by his mercies and his grace just
00:37:07 --> 00:37:10 started giving me insights to his word
00:37:10 --> 00:37:12 you know there are many people say well
00:37:12 --> 00:37:14 I take the word I read I don't you know
00:37:14 --> 00:37:18 like it became so was almost as if like
00:37:18 --> 00:37:21 right you know a light was just thrown
00:37:21 --> 00:37:24 on the word and excuse me like you read
00:37:24 --> 00:37:27 that scripture before and you never seen
00:37:27 --> 00:37:29 it that way before exactly like I am
00:37:29 --> 00:37:33 reading scriptures that I've
00:37:33 --> 00:37:36 heard right and I'm getting these deeper
00:37:36 --> 00:37:39 evening insights and and understanding
00:37:39 --> 00:37:41 and I'm loving the word i'm researching
00:37:41 --> 00:37:43 so here am I buying books and investing
00:37:44 --> 00:37:46 in books and I'm like you know and going
00:37:46 --> 00:37:48 to God and and depending on the Holy
00:37:48 --> 00:37:50 Spirit
00:37:50 --> 00:37:54 and one year after another after another
00:37:54 --> 00:37:55 the
00:37:55 --> 00:37:58 invitations have not stopped and I say
00:37:58 --> 00:38:02 to the glory of God that the Lord by his
00:38:02 --> 00:38:05 mercies has used me to be a blessing to
00:38:05 --> 00:38:07 so many women so many women specifically
00:38:08 --> 00:38:09 women you know because my heart has
00:38:09 --> 00:38:12 always been for women even as a a young
00:38:12 --> 00:38:16 child so I'm not surprised why God kind
00:38:16 --> 00:38:19 of tagged me even in that arena um again
00:38:19 --> 00:38:22 I you know the word of God speaks to
00:38:22 --> 00:38:26 everyone we all vessels but I
00:38:26 --> 00:38:30 Exactly and so that is how I got to my
00:38:30 --> 00:38:34 heart yes and I I have to say that if
00:38:34 --> 00:38:36 there's any regrets and I don't do
00:38:36 --> 00:38:40 regrets but if there's any regrets I
00:38:40 --> 00:38:44 wish I had said give him a hard yes
00:38:44 --> 00:38:48 sooner earlier and sooner yes because I

00:39:39 --> 00:39:45 um struggling yes with the Yes
00:39:45 --> 00:39:47 for God yes people of God if you were

00:39:50 --> 00:39:52 um yes it it didn't take
00:39:53 --> 00:39:56 me you know a day or two to get here but
00:39:56 --> 00:39:58 you don't have to go through that you
00:39:58 --> 00:40:00 don't have to go through that i can tell
00:40:00 --> 00:40:03 you that the most important thing woman
00:40:04 --> 00:40:06 of God is for us to walk in obedience
00:40:06 --> 00:40:07 and I think it's one of the things that
00:40:07 --> 00:40:09 a lot of Christians are still battling
00:40:09 --> 00:40:12 with and I battled with it you know
00:40:12 --> 00:40:14 especially when it comes to the will of
00:40:14 --> 00:40:16 God and the purpose of God for our lives
00:40:16 --> 00:40:19 you know many of us want to do it our
00:40:19 --> 00:40:22 way and I did it my way for many years i
00:40:22 --> 00:40:26 have to admit I did it my way i did it I
00:40:26 --> 00:40:28 was giving God what I thought should be
00:40:28 --> 00:40:31 okay for God so Lord but why is this not
00:40:31 --> 00:40:34 okay i didn't understand why it wasn't
00:40:34 --> 00:40:36 okay but apparently it wasn't okay
00:40:36 --> 00:40:39 because he had poured into me more and
00:40:39 --> 00:40:42 so he required more from me and there
00:40:42 --> 00:40:45 are many of us here God has poured so
00:40:45 --> 00:40:48 much into you that you are only
00:40:48 --> 00:40:50 operating
00:40:50 --> 00:40:52 around 30 40
00:40:53 --> 00:40:56 percentile you know uh of your optimal
00:40:56 --> 00:40:59 level whatever level God or whatever
00:40:59 --> 00:41:01 abilities and and gifts God has given to
00:41:01 --> 00:41:03 you it's not meant for you these gifts
00:41:04 --> 00:41:06 are not meant for you no and they are
00:41:06 --> 00:41:09 really not meant for you they are meant
00:41:09 --> 00:41:12 to be a blessing to to God's people to
00:41:12 --> 00:41:14 people out there to mankind you know and
00:41:14 --> 00:41:16 I have to
00:41:16 --> 00:41:20 say the the testimonies when I started
00:41:20 --> 00:41:23 walking in the you know in in God's will
00:41:23 --> 00:41:26 for my life the testimonies through the
00:41:26 --> 00:41:28 songs that I get oh my God I listen to
00:41:28 --> 00:41:30 this song and it was such a blessing to
00:41:30 --> 00:41:32 me i listened to that song it was such a
00:41:32 --> 00:41:34 blessing to me oh I heard you speak here
00:41:34 --> 00:41:36 and there and there and it was such a
00:41:36 --> 00:41:39 blessing to me you changed by through
00:41:39 --> 00:41:42 you you know God used you to change my
00:41:42 --> 00:41:45 standing in in this area or that area
00:41:45 --> 00:41:48 that area listen
00:41:48 --> 00:41:52 guys it doesn't matter you you your call
00:41:52 --> 00:41:55 may not necessarily be to fill stadiums
00:41:55 --> 00:41:58 and if it is great
00:41:58 --> 00:42:03 awesome but you know what perhaps you
00:42:03 --> 00:42:05 are meant for that one person i just
00:42:05 --> 00:42:08 want to scale it so down because if you
00:42:08 --> 00:42:11 are looking at the big huge picture and
00:42:11 --> 00:42:13 it's making you feel so overwhelmed that
00:42:13 --> 00:42:15 oh my god how am I going to do this Lord
00:42:15 --> 00:42:16 you've called me for nations you've
00:42:16 --> 00:42:20 called me um um um for this Monday that
00:42:20 --> 00:42:23 and that how am I going to do it well
00:42:23 --> 00:42:25 that is not the how is it shouldn't be
00:42:26 --> 00:42:30 your problem what God requires from you
00:42:30 --> 00:42:33 down is your yes is your obedience to
00:42:33 --> 00:42:36 him Okay you give him that first and I'm
00:42:36 --> 00:42:40 telling you he is going to show you step
00:42:40 --> 00:42:44 by step i love the Holy Spirit so much
00:42:44 --> 00:42:46 because he's been my greatest teacher my
00:42:46 --> 00:42:50 greatest teacher the things I have come
00:42:50 --> 00:42:53 to know the things that I've learned is
00:42:53 --> 00:42:56 literally by the spirit of God thank you
00:42:56 --> 00:42:58 you know so you don't have to feel
00:42:58 --> 00:43:00 inadequate because I did feel like that
00:43:00 --> 00:43:02 at some point because I'm like Lord but
00:43:02 --> 00:43:05 I haven't but uh but all the butts you
00:43:05 --> 00:43:07 know the I call it the Moses syndrome
00:43:07 --> 00:43:10 you know but God but I I probably can
00:43:10 --> 00:43:11 maybe I might not be able to articulate
00:43:11 --> 00:43:14 it this way or that way or the listen
00:43:14 --> 00:43:16 that is not what God is looking he He
00:43:16 --> 00:43:19 saw all of that what you feel is a
00:43:19 --> 00:43:21 weakness is a shortcoming and yet he
00:43:21 --> 00:43:23 still says "I've chosen you have called
00:43:23 --> 00:43:27 you for my purpose for a mandate for an
00:43:27 --> 00:43:29 assignment so the abilities God has
00:43:29 --> 00:43:32 given you the the gift everything he's
00:43:32 --> 00:43:34 endowed you is not for you it's not for
00:43:34 --> 00:43:37 you to sit on it i sat on mine for many
00:43:37 --> 00:43:39 years and I felt very comfortable being
00:43:39 --> 00:43:40 at the
00:43:40 --> 00:43:43 background but when it was time for God
00:43:43 --> 00:43:46 to put me at the forefront again I
00:43:46 --> 00:43:49 struggled with with that whole idea
00:43:49 --> 00:43:53 and God gave me the the the boldness the
00:43:54 --> 00:43:56 courage the confidence whatever I needed
00:43:56 --> 00:43:59 to step up to the plate to do what he's
00:43:59 --> 00:44:01 called me to do so don't worry about all
00:44:02 --> 00:44:04 the butts and but I don't have this and
00:44:04 --> 00:44:07 I don't have that it is up to the spirit
00:44:07 --> 00:44:10 of the Lord to endow you with those
00:44:10 --> 00:44:13 things i have seen people who barely can
00:44:13 --> 00:44:16 speak to a company of two or three
00:44:16 --> 00:44:19 people and now God is using them
00:44:19 --> 00:44:23 mightily mightily they you could hardly
00:44:23 --> 00:44:25 engage them in a company of three or
00:44:25 --> 00:44:28 four people i was that kind of shy girl
00:44:28 --> 00:44:32 listen guys if I can do it then you can
00:44:32 --> 00:44:37 too i was so shy that you wouldn't keep
00:44:37 --> 00:44:39 be able to keep me in the company of
00:44:39 --> 00:44:41 four or five people i may have to find
00:44:41 --> 00:44:45 somewhere and just dash out like
00:44:45 --> 00:44:49 okay I I gotta go i will see you all
00:44:49 --> 00:44:52 later because the I just
00:44:52 --> 00:44:54 didn't you know the idea of being at the
00:44:54 --> 00:44:56 forefront and speaking to people and all
00:44:56 --> 00:44:59 of this was not my forte but the thing
00:44:59 --> 00:45:01 is that if God has endowed you he's he's
00:45:01 --> 00:45:03 already as a matter of fact it's already
00:45:03 --> 00:45:06 there you know what we do as human
00:45:06 --> 00:45:09 beings is we we feel inadequate or we
00:45:09 --> 00:45:11 allow the enemy to make us feel
00:45:11 --> 00:45:13 inadequate that we don't have what it
00:45:13 --> 00:45:15 takes to do what God has called us to do
00:45:15 --> 00:45:17 so I'm just saying this all of this to
00:45:18 --> 00:45:20 say that people of God your essence your
00:45:20 --> 00:45:23 true reason why you are here is for a
00:45:23 --> 00:45:25 specific reason a
00:45:25 --> 00:45:28 purpose we are not here to pass time you
00:45:28 --> 00:45:31 know just like that okay I'm here 30 40
00:45:31 --> 00:45:35 50 60 b you're gone we are going to be
00:45:35 --> 00:45:38 accountable the Bible say to each he
00:45:38 --> 00:45:42 gave each set abilities and those
00:45:42 --> 00:45:46 abilities were not to be sat on it was
00:45:46 --> 00:45:50 to be used for God's glory so don't set
00:45:50 --> 00:45:51 on what God has called you to do it
00:45:52 --> 00:45:53 doesn't matter if God has called you to
00:45:53 --> 00:45:55 be an apostle if God has called you to
00:45:55 --> 00:45:57 be an evangelist if God has called you
00:45:57 --> 00:46:00 to be a a a pastor if God has called you
00:46:00 --> 00:46:03 to be um it doesn't matter like whatever
00:46:03 --> 00:46:06 it is you probably might be you may not
00:46:06 --> 00:46:08 be the one preaching but you you
00:46:08 --> 00:46:11 probably you're called to be a kingdom
00:46:11 --> 00:46:14 financier it it doesn't matter what you
00:46:14 --> 00:46:18 have to do is go back to God and ask him
00:46:18 --> 00:46:21 Lord what is my essence what is my true
00:46:21 --> 00:46:24 call what is my mandate here on earth
00:46:24 --> 00:46:26 that's correct why am I here my
00:46:26 --> 00:46:30 why your destiny your why go to God
00:46:30 --> 00:46:33 because people of God it was only when I
00:46:33 --> 00:46:36 allow God to adjust me transform me
00:46:36 --> 00:46:39 renew me and put me back into his
00:46:39 --> 00:46:43 blueprint into the right road map for my
00:46:43 --> 00:46:45 life that's when I start seeing God's
00:46:45 --> 00:46:48 glory on my life and a lot of believers
00:46:48 --> 00:46:52 are here and we are not experiencing God
00:46:52 --> 00:46:54 the way we need to experience him
00:46:54 --> 00:46:56 because we are not just being obedient a
00:46:56 --> 00:46:59 lot of us are operating out of the will
00:46:59 --> 00:47:01 of God and the purposes of God for our
00:47:01 --> 00:47:03 lives and I can tell you for a fact that
00:47:03 --> 00:47:06 if you are doing that you are not going
00:47:06 --> 00:47:10 to see God's glory fully on your life
00:47:10 --> 00:47:14 so the earlier you surrender the earlier
00:47:14 --> 00:47:18 you release it all to him the better and
00:47:18 --> 00:47:21 watch him watch him do mighty and great
00:47:21 --> 00:47:25 things with your life amen amen
00:47:25 --> 00:47:28 amen let me tell you I I didn't
00:47:28 --> 00:47:32 understand why my mic broke today
00:47:32 --> 00:47:35 and I said 'Lord okay because I listen I

00:47:40 --> 00:47:43 because the Lord is so faithful god is
00:47:43 --> 00:47:45 so faithful that he had do something

00:47:51 --> 00:47:54 2015 I said yes and I gave myself yes i

00:47:57 --> 00:48:00 2018 that my world began to crash woo
00:48:00 --> 00:48:02 god said "I want to see if you really
00:48:02 --> 00:48:04 trust me if you really going to stand."
00:48:04 --> 00:48:07 It was 2019 that I gave my Okay Lord he
00:48:07 --> 00:48:10 launched me into the deep and we are on
00:48:10 --> 00:48:13 similar similar timeline testimony and
00:48:13 --> 00:48:16 then he sent me to go preach and teach
00:48:16 --> 00:48:18 around the world and I had been ordained
00:48:18 --> 00:48:21 i didn't feel qualified didn't feel said
00:48:21 --> 00:48:25 go do the first works I told you to do
00:48:25 --> 00:48:27 my God i came back home i got the Lord
00:48:27 --> 00:48:29 blessed me with with with a marriage
00:48:29 --> 00:48:31 with a husband and you know he sent me
00:48:31 --> 00:48:35 back to to the region I'm in in
00:48:35 --> 00:48:39 2022 and 2022 the Lord said I want you
00:48:39 --> 00:48:42 to go back 2023 go back to your first
00:48:42 --> 00:48:47 work and my work was to raise an army of
00:48:47 --> 00:48:50 intercessors and prophetic people for
00:48:50 --> 00:48:52 the kingdom of God and as I begin to
00:48:52 --> 00:48:55 study and begin to read the Lord be to
00:48:55 --> 00:48:57 give me lesson plans
00:48:57 --> 00:48:59 And like I'm like Lord I never even seen
00:48:59 --> 00:49:01 this i never even heard this before yes

00:49:03 --> 00:49:05 begin to feel again inadequate i'm about

00:49:22 --> 00:49:24 is fear of judgment i don't know if you

00:49:26 --> 00:49:28 thinking as a Lord what are people going

00:49:42 --> 00:49:46 yeah I I felt judged not to judge but I
00:49:46 --> 00:49:50 felt once I teach this can I what if I
00:49:50 --> 00:49:53 what if I what if I hear you well what
00:49:53 --> 00:49:54 begin to feel like Lord maybe I didn't
00:49:54 --> 00:49:56 hear you maybe I ain't study this hard
00:49:56 --> 00:49:58 enough let me go back to school that's
00:49:58 --> 00:50:00 right I begin to go back to school I
00:50:00 --> 00:50:02 begin to but the Lord begin to say he

00:50:05 --> 00:50:07 September just this year just last year
00:50:07 --> 00:50:10 I should say I said okay and I started
00:50:10 --> 00:50:13 my teaching and when I tell you it's
00:50:13 --> 00:50:17 full of pastors and leaders from all
00:50:17 --> 00:50:20 denominations and there you like I I
00:50:20 --> 00:50:21 read this I've never seen this
00:50:21 --> 00:50:24 revelation before so I I had to sit in
00:50:24 --> 00:50:28 this in this today because it was just
00:50:28 --> 00:50:32 for me to know that and I felt like Lord
00:50:32 --> 00:50:34 I should have said yes a long time ago i
00:50:34 --> 00:50:36 could have served you longer you know
00:50:36 --> 00:50:39 while I was young and I was you know
00:50:39 --> 00:50:41 ready but I was in the right time the
00:50:41 --> 00:50:42 right season in the right place because
00:50:42 --> 00:50:44 the Lord begins to draw so what I'm
00:50:44 --> 00:50:46 saying to everybody else is that God
00:50:46 --> 00:50:48 blessed me today to hear this testimony
00:50:48 --> 00:50:50 to know that I am on the right path in
00:50:50 --> 00:50:52 the right place and that I was faithful

00:51:15 --> 00:51:16 kingdom come thy will be done on earth
00:51:16 --> 00:51:19 as it is in heaven i give myself to you

00:51:22 --> 00:51:23 whatever you want to do Father I want
00:51:24 --> 00:51:25 you to do it and I want you to and I
00:51:25 --> 00:51:28 want to be used for your glory i want to
00:51:28 --> 00:51:31 be It don't matter if I go and I think
00:51:31 --> 00:51:33 that I'm going to embarrass myself or I

00:51:35 --> 00:51:37 in the strength of the Lord and I'm

00:51:41 --> 00:51:44 against me if God before you who can be

00:51:49 --> 00:51:51 in the spirit of the Lord that he has

00:52:01 --> 00:52:04 a soldier in the army of the Lord and I

00:52:11 --> 00:52:13 y'all to also catch this she begin to
00:52:13 --> 00:52:16 speak about how she was strengthened not
00:52:16 --> 00:52:19 in prayer she was strengthened in the
00:52:19 --> 00:52:22 word of God yes i want you to know that

00:52:25 --> 00:52:27 two-headed sword that's what the Bible

00:52:36 --> 00:52:38 would get a hunger and thirst after

00:53:33 --> 00:53:34 begin to talk about your testimony i got
00:53:34 --> 00:53:36 excited you tell I'm excited right
00:53:36 --> 00:53:39 now so much i got so much you begin to
00:53:39 --> 00:53:42 talk about testimony i remember my
00:53:42 --> 00:53:45 pastor saying "You gonna pray today it
00:53:45 --> 00:53:46 was okay to pray in front of my little
00:53:46 --> 00:53:49 church." Yeah but you want me to go over
00:53:49 --> 00:53:51 here and do this
00:53:52 --> 00:53:55 i was being trained as the house in I
00:53:55 --> 00:53:57 was being trained up and God will train
00:53:57 --> 00:53:59 you he will lift you and he will
00:53:59 --> 00:54:01 establish you i thank you so much for
00:54:01 --> 00:54:04 coming on and sharing your testimony i'm
00:54:04 --> 00:54:07 fired up i'm ready to run on see
00:54:07 --> 00:54:11 how Yes yes obedience is everything

00:54:42 --> 00:54:44 what I did maybe you're doing something
00:54:44 --> 00:54:47 else in the body of Christ or in church
00:54:47 --> 00:54:49 but maybe God is calling you into the
00:54:49 --> 00:54:52 deeper end of Yeah something else you
00:54:52 --> 00:54:54 know it could be an additional mandate
00:54:54 --> 00:54:57 God is giving you so be very careful
00:54:57 --> 00:55:00 with that because in my case again I had
00:55:00 --> 00:55:02 settled in just the worship ministry
00:55:02 --> 00:55:04 thinking that's what I was literally
00:55:04 --> 00:55:07 called for okay eventually I've I've you
00:55:07 --> 00:55:09 know obeyed the Lord and I'm doing it
00:55:09 --> 00:55:14 but God was asking me to do more
00:55:14 --> 00:55:18 more and so I want to speak also to the
00:55:18 --> 00:55:22 people who who are already in the foe
00:55:22 --> 00:55:23 they already in the kingdom they're
00:55:23 --> 00:55:26 doing you know great things for God
00:55:26 --> 00:55:31 perhaps God wants you to do more for him
00:55:31 --> 00:55:35 more he wants to add more assignment and
00:55:35 --> 00:55:38 Monday that you know would require you
00:55:38 --> 00:55:42 to do more so don't be too comfortable
00:55:42 --> 00:55:45 in your in your you know comfort zone we
00:55:45 --> 00:55:47 all operate in that kind of area and I
00:55:47 --> 00:55:50 did I know it very well comfort zone was
00:55:50 --> 00:55:53 a place I a space I operated from for
00:55:54 --> 00:55:56 many years and there are a lot of us
00:55:56 --> 00:55:59 that are also operating from that space
00:55:59 --> 00:56:01 and and I can guarantee you in this end
00:56:01 --> 00:56:04 time God is calling so many of us to
00:56:04 --> 00:56:07 step up to the plate especially women
00:56:07 --> 00:56:09 you know God has poured his spirit on
00:56:09 --> 00:56:12 women and God is going to be using women
00:56:12 --> 00:56:14 mightily in the next five t years
00:56:14 --> 00:56:17 there's going to be amazing movement you
00:56:17 --> 00:56:20 know uh that God is going use women to
00:56:20 --> 00:56:22 to achieve and so you don't want to
00:56:22 --> 00:56:25 count yourself out you know go to God
00:56:25 --> 00:56:27 ask him if he's not been targeting your
00:56:28 --> 00:56:30 heart to want to do anything ask him
00:56:30 --> 00:56:31 perhaps there's something more he's
00:56:31 --> 00:56:34 calling you to do for the kingdom of God
00:56:34 --> 00:56:37 for his glory you know so it's my prayer
00:56:37 --> 00:56:40 that as you uh listen to this testimony
00:56:40 --> 00:56:43 that your hope will be renewed you know
00:56:43 --> 00:56:45 your spirit will be quickened and and
00:56:45 --> 00:56:47 that your joy will also be restored
00:56:48 --> 00:56:49 because woman of God a lot of people
00:56:49 --> 00:56:51 have just lost their joy and the Bible
00:56:51 --> 00:56:53 says that the joy of the Lord is our
00:56:53 --> 00:56:56 strength so it is that which quickens us

00:56:58 --> 00:57:01 the Lord and many many people my God
