[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Now I know some of you might be thinking, wait, didn't you already share your spiritual journey with us?

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes I did! But I also want to expose the different sides of Finding Peace.

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Now I met Healing Hoodz through a connection with Comedian JP.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Now I was first questioned, how are you connected with JP?

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But I'm glad that we had a chance to get an introduction through him and I'm grateful for it.

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_02]: My sister and I were recommended to take spiritual baths from her to remove some negative energy

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_02]: and to cleanse ourselves. And let me tell you, it worked wonders.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It really did, it worked wonders. So much that I did it for two weeks straight.

[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Now I have to share with you guys, after we recorded this interview

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_02]: my sister and I joined one of her live sessions and our mother came through with some powerful messages.

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Now if you don't believe it that's fine, but I do.

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And this woman didn't know anything about our struggles or us.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_02]: So yes I definitely believe. This is why this is going to be such a great conversation.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi, good evening, good evening. Love, light, peace and blessings to everybody.

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm honored to have you on. I really wanted to talk to you because I know your specialty.

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It hits home when a lot of people are taking your lives. It hits home.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_02]: But I want you to first of all, because everybody thinks they can buy a deck of tarot cards.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And if I learn every card, I know what's going to land and what it means.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Now it is a learning experience.

[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_05]: So I was, we all have the gift. This is one thing that I said and I explained to everybody.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_05]: We all come from God and this God, this gift to be able to connect with spirit and the Holy Spirit

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_05]: and be able to get some type of message or advice or something for us, you know, to lead us to our purpose.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_05]: I do feel we all have it. It's all about your mindset and how you take it in.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, with tarot, I tell everybody when it comes to tarot, anybody can sit because it's easy access.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, tarot was created in the early 1400s as a deck of cards of playing for the elite.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_05]: And it wasn't until the 1800s that tarot was really taken in as a tool to sit and be used to communicate with spirit.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_05]: But the elite people used to use tarot just to sit and mess around and pull it out to sit and get some type of encouragement, you know, when it came to their life.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, anybody could sit and pick up a deck of tarot.

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_05]: Anybody could sit and learn tarot, the definition of the cards and learn what it is that it represents.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_05]: But I always tell people make sure your mental health is correct as well because you are working with entities.

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_05]: You are working with spirit. You are working with energy.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_05]: There are so many different words for what it is that you are working with and you have to have the right mindset.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_05]: You have to be more of that inner self knowing to sit and be able to mess with something like this, to sit and know that if you believe in God and you believe in devil, the devil and saints and angels and there's demons and you got to cleanse

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_05]: and you got to make sure you are mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally ready to sit and really trust within yourself and what it is that you see and feel when you are going to communicate a message to somebody because these people are really depending on you with their life.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. I take it seriously because you know, when you are on a journey and you're trying to get in contact with all the right people to put you on the right path.

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And there are so many damn scam artists out here that randomly message you, I got a message from your ancestors and your mama told me to call you.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's that kind of situation. But people should understand the intuition as well as the types of readings that are given via tarot cards.

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, tarot is the most popular. Like when it comes to getting a read tarot is like the most popular read that most popular type of reading, you know that people really come to get.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_05]: But I, you know, everybody has their own vision when it comes to the tarot cards, you know, I took tarot and when I started tarot when I was young, you know, I wasn't as open as I am now.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_05]: But when I started, I really took tarot as for me. I didn't start tarot as for me to do reads on other people.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_05]: I said, you know, I want to take these cards and the first card that I had mind you, they were the Native American tarot cards. And I don't know shit about it.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_05]: I didn't know anything about tarot. You understand, and as I started messing with the tarot, I was confused. I didn't know what was going on.

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_05]: So I'm like, okay, I don't want to sit now as again, a spiritual person that over stands energy. I said, I don't want to mess with nothing and call us something that I'm not supposed to before I sit and keep fucking with it.

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_05]: Excuse my language, but that's just before I can make me with it.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_05]: Let me make sure I'm doing things correctly. And I started studying, you know, between going, you know, Barnes and Nobles is an amazing bookstore.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_05]: And when I heard one year that they was closing down, I when I tell you I sat in front of my office and I said don't close them. Please let it just keep going.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Because a lot of the knowledge I got from Barnes and Nobles you find a lot of stuff in Barnes and Noble dictionaries, you know, Google of course, but you got to make sure and and when you find things on Google,

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_05]: you got to sit and look up the things you found on Google as well sometimes but started Google wasn't really around. I had to sit and look for people. I had to go around and find people walk into different spiritual stores and ask elders questions and find my spiritual family

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_05]: and as I grew up finding different people and them teaching me and and you know showing me stuff and the one thing that hit me with Tara was is is overstanding the definition of the cards, but it's also overstanding when spirit is trying to show you an image.

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_05]: Right. Sometimes I could look like I could see I could let's say the ace of pentacles comes out and I've been like this is not making sense. Why would the ace of pentacles come out within the story but if they want me to pay attention to something in that picture.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_05]: That's going to sit in a line with with with you, you know so is the lot that comes with with with any type of reading, you know, with any any type if they do reiki and people use chameleons, which is like, it's coconut shells for coconut pieces is a lot that you know is a lot that comes with

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_05]: some some people are very clairvoyant and some people just go off of energy. So anybody can sit and do it is just about who you are and how you sit in you you accepted.

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm glad that you tapped on that because you know sometimes you know you'll have your own intuition like I don't know if this was valid but you know my validation is pretty much on point.

[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_05]: That's right and I'm a reader, you know, I'm a reader. You understand I sit and I tap into you guys life and just because I'm a reader doesn't mean I don't have one you understand because I have my I have my my my one I'm going to be honest with you I only have my one which is my Godfather you

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_05]: understand and let me give love, light and peace to my Godfather. I whenever I'm going through anything I don't go to anybody else I don't I don't let just anybody prophesy over me. And again, sometimes I'll be off for myself and I'm like hmm, but you know I need you to sit and help

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_05]: me. There's been many of times where I've done readings and I'm like, I don't know that something not right I can't get into it if I need help, I ask for help. And I go to my Godfather because I'm not perfect nobody's perfect. You understand what I'm saying that nobody's perfect

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_05]: and there's still a lot of I could be 50 years old and I'm still going to be learning new things because this is so ancient this is way before our time.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_05]: It's a lot it's a lot but it's very it builds your confidence in so many ways when you sit and you tap into everything.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I came in your live one day and you was just doing a general reading.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Right. And when you tapped in on me and I was like, because I was pissed today matter of fact I was pissed the day I came in your room and it was no energy towards you it was just some nonsense.

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And you were just like, wait a minute I'm feeling something I said, damn I must be really pissed because she could vibe.

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right.

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I felt, you know that's real quick. This is what I tell people also I'm a spiritual reader and I read people over technology. I read people through Instagram through a phone through stream art.

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_05]: If I could do that imagine what your enemies could do you understand so if I could feel when there's negative energy, I could feel when the energy is shifting.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_05]: I could feel when when when somebody joins my life and there's been many times where if I've had to stop the general read and I'm like, ooh, let me tell you.

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_05]: Is it okay that I read you because when you came in whoever was walking with you just smack me like help us help her help her.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_05]: So

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_05]: I was pissed.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_05]: I was pissed.

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_05]: She was angry she was angry and I was like, ooh, okay hold on. And then, you know, of course I asked permission because I understood that you know Rocky and Michelle have their own spiritual advisor.

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_05]: So I've always asked permission first before I sit and I read anybody, even if I'm going to give the advice but I tell them please make sure you go to your spiritual advisor and just get the confirmation before anything because again we are all family and we

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_05]: all trying to do the same thing.

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_05]: And with Michelle, you know, I tapped into her.

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, it's been, it's been a wonderful journey.

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I just hate it.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I mean, I already we know I already knew of you and we were following each other but at the same time I'm like, damn I didn't want to come in the room and just jack up all the energy but I appreciate you taking the time to you know walk me through that because I was just like yo I'm about to

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_02]: catch a charge out here so I'm so glad that you were able to tap in.

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_02]: But let's discuss the purpose of spiritual readings and what people seek from them.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_05]: What I believe in is what is the Yoruba culture, right.

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_05]: I believe in the Euro culture that believe that there's many different type of cultures religions and spiritual, you know, houses and stuff that said it comes from your over.

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_05]: And I do believe in if I do believe that when there's a time in our life where we, you know, we don't know which way to go.

[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_05]: I believe we go to I go to if I go to a profit, I go to a profit and I saw this profit like access profit can you help me.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_05]: And that's what I do and that's what everybody every spiritual person that's out here. Honestly, I must repeat it.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_05]: That's out here doing this honestly and serving more than what they get paid for and really want people to sit and get their life together and find a purpose and and and heal from past trauma from trauma that they're going through now, and even get a little bit of advice of some trauma that could be coming.

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, is that's the purpose of it to sit and do our best to lead you to the water.

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_05]: And the main the main thing about that water is when you drink it, you get into knowing you were letting yourself with God, because this is all to sit and lead everybody to your happiness to to your peace to your purpose but also to teach you.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_05]: We do come from a higher source.

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_05]: We do we are of God.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_05]: He is the creator no matter what you call him. It doesn't matter the name you call him those names are just him in different languages and different tongues.

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_05]: He's we got our faith in God comes before anything and we have to sit and have that faith in God, and we have to honor our ancestors, because we won't know what we know.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_05]: And we won't even have what we have if it wasn't for them.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_05]: So the whole purpose of coming to us is to lead you to your purpose so when you become an ancestor you're remembered as well.

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Amen. And I promise you it's an interesting journey, because I never really knew because I know when I talked to spiritual.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I got her background that her gift was you know, with her since childhood.

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So did you have a similar experience or how did you know that you had this gift.

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_05]: I was very little. I was definitely a cartoon girl, I was a quiet little girl you know my mom always says when when I was 567 just give me my box of 100 materials and turn on the Saturday cartoons you won't hear my mouth I've always had like this vivid imagination.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_05]: So there was times where I will wake up and I will see things in my house and I'm a little girl shit that's my imagination I'm going to sit and I'm going to play with my dog or whatever.

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_05]: But then as I got my first experience with a diet team name and leg while was when I was nine years old, this was after this was a year after my dad transition.

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_05]: And I always used to see this old man that worked around the apartment that was in nobody never really believed me when I said no that's your imagination you crazy and then of course, growing up in my mob side with Jehovah Witness, you know they practice Jehovah Witness is it conflicted a lot.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_05]: So I will see things I was always seeing things I will see this old man just running around the apartment.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_05]: I will see and I will see another energy or somebody there and I will get I don't hear this was I don't hear I hear certain things but it's more things like I hear the voice in my head I'm not crazy, but it's just that's how I get my messages and I will hear some this this very militant man.

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_05]: Tell me, tell somebody not to sit there because they're going to fall and I was sitting I say don't sit there you're going to fall where you get that I heard it. Are you crazy. What's wrong with your cut that shit out, and then they sit on the chair and they fall.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_05]: There's nothing that I could do.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Not like you didn't want.

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_05]: So that right so that's when I started you know noticing this and again after my dad died, you know I was introduced to the diet here leg watch aware at the time my stepfather his brother.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_05]: I was raised up in a whole bunch of different cultures so it's like I want to get to the story but then it's like to understand you know to my step that was a freemason, but at the same time his father was Hebrew.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_05]: So it was so many different things that they will sit and tap into and then my uncle out of my step up water nowhere just comes with these black and red beads and says listen somebody said that he needs these my nickname is to be my nickname is to be.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_05]: So you know, to be me and they placed it in my room and we I woke up in the middle of the night and I saw him standing at my front door. I was scared. Yes I was scared young I was the fuck is this you know what I'm saying but as I grew up learning who he was I

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_05]: I over stood why he was standing at my door he's protecting me they said I needed him because I needed the protection and then once I don't know I've asked when I started tapping in.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_05]: And then I also have my family from my mom side who's my grandmother sister you know she was a son data and also a paleta and she she told me a lot about my mom, you know listening to her about my mom and when it came to the your religion and and she was the one that really tapped into and she will tell my mom this

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_05]: one this one right there you know and of course growing up being scared of not getting I fear they could have like a jojo witness they teach you when they is all this other stuff my dad you know my grandmother my dad side you know he's black but she was Baptist and it's the

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_05]: going like this back and forth but I've always since small even in school my mom people tell you like they if it didn't make sense. I'm not rocking with it has to make sense for me to rock with it and from very young nine years

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_05]: old I've very I've always been very spiritual because the things I used to see and even going to see a side of therapy it's like it's trying to put me on medicine and I'm like I'm not doing it.

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_05]: I can't do it.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_05]: And I was a young mom you know I have my I got pregnant at 16 and over stand you know at 14 was one the first time I really started getting initiated into stuff and learning more and another way of communicating with spirit is getting mounted that was the first

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_05]: time I got mounted and then the second time at 14 again my mom had a spiritual event happening in the house and there was a drumming going on and I got mounted and what the spirit told my mom she's going to get pregnant at 16 and over stand the baby is going to have complications

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_05]: and all of this stuff is going to happen but they said she's wise.

[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_05]: We need her to have this all of this has to happen, and I have my son and at 16 was when I tapped in even more was like yeah, I want me to have this kid.

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying.

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_05]: I got pregnant. You guys want me to have this kid. What did you want me to do and here I am 37 years old my kids are me I've had, I have five kids, you know, and the knowledge I don't use this for cars I don't use this to grab a nigga I don't use this for that I use this for knowledge.

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, I want

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_05]: because you have people out here that think they need to come to certain spiritual people and people are going to say he and say, oh you want to control. Don't come to me with that. That's that's not what I do.

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Same thing. You know, and this is just my personal belief. I don't understand why if you are attracted to somebody and they not attracted you why would you would give up the free will of theirs.

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_02]: The cast a spell and I don't want nobody got a brainwash.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I got.

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want that.

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_05]: What's the purpose of that. There's no purpose of it and not only that you know, God gave us freedom of choice and God has made a promise and he doesn't even force us to love him. What the fuck makes you think

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_05]: you have the power to do that I tell everybody and anybody and everybody that does that ago you don't know what you're working with and you're working with some real crazy entities to sit and turn people into a zombie.

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_05]: You you're not allowing you don't have no right to sit in and control anybody's life.

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_05]: Right.

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_05]: You don't. And I don't I tell everybody like oh what you got your stuff. Well I got my stuff because as I have them and I have my stuff it forces me to learn what it is learn who they are.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_05]: Overstand their experiences and my experience in life, combining with theirs. You know again, I believe I strongly honor my orisha or riches which is another word of saying saints I strongly strongly I know my orisha I honor my answers to because if it wasn't for them billions of years ago being created

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_05]: and on this earth. There's we won't even have these laptops, you know where there's a creator for everything there's always something is something is always created and I honor my ancestors for that and and is.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_05]: I want to learn them. I want to learn these people that were here before what they went through because a lot of these ancestors that we are a part of our bloodline.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_05]: I love I love to sit and tap into the historic, not this is me the history of my clients and excuse me my collectives as well, because it helps you understand you and what you're going through now.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_05]: You know I'm not an astrologist. I'm not. I do know someone it comes to astrology. I do learn how to combine certain things and, and it's like you, you guys are my collectives and I just want you guys to get better.

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_05]: You know that's like that's the whole more of it is the whole more of this is to get better so over stand. I don't force nobody to sit and do anything that I do.

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_05]: If you're interested, I have no problem sitting here teaching you and showing you what it is that you want to learn.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_05]: If I don't know anything over stand I got a crew that's behind me that's going to sit and let me know what it is so like that we can help you.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, and this is a beautiful thing. That's how everybody spirituality is a beautiful thing because we're not forcing you to sit and do anything.

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_05]: We just giving you a message the same way when you go to the altar at a church and you sit in your bow and you clap and you praise that past that I sit and give you the message.

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_05]: We just don't sit and have we don't tell you to come to church. We just didn't say the word.

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's one thing I love about spirituality because like I said, I was exposed to church my sister and I'm both at a young age now we knew at a young age this ain't it.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_02]: So when we got into our spiritual path is just a lot better. I still got my connection and love with God and I still have and I have better intuition.

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_05]: That's one thing I will definitely say my intuition is I don't want anybody. I don't want anybody to sit and think that I have because you know people could sit and take your words and do stuff, you know.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, right.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm don't knock off churches because I have been in churches I was raised in Kingdom Halls churches Baptist Church Catholic Church.

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_05]: I've been in churches with really good people over stand really amazing people that these these pastors and and and deacons and ministers are busting they ask working real life and making sure that the community is good those are the ones that you

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_05]: really don't see so I don't want nobody to sit and think that I don't believe in when I feel you know what there's something in my spirit that wants me to sit and step in a church and again this is me.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_05]: This is not everybody or they have to do but if something in my spirit says yo step into this church because there's something that you need to hear I do it.

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm not saying I'm a step into this church all the time. I'm not saying I go to church every Sunday, if I do go to church is probably once a year over stand but I want people to know I don't have anything against the church I don't have anything against anybody that figured out a tool to sit and communicate with us to meet us to God just do it honestly and

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_05]: and respectfully.

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And I don't have nothing against people who do attend church.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_05]: It's just wouldn't have fit for me. You know what I mean so that's I mean so hey as long as you praise go ahead and I just want people to over stand what it is that they're doing and over stand that knowledge is everything you know knowledge is way better than luck and if you're going into a church know why you're going to the

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_05]: church.

[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, get your knowledge first learn when when when the pastor is speaking a word and there's a language or word that you don't understand that language is you have all rights to sit and look it up and questions that pass as they passed so you understand what

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_05]: what happens with a lot of the churches and a lot of religious they don't want you to question is what they said and that's it spirituality we don't move that way we truly believe that there's truth in everything.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's why I love the path I'm on with this natural gift did you have to do any training or additional education as you started to build your clientele.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_05]: So there's when it comes to you know follow my own way when it comes to something that he told me which I'm scratch I'm initiated in follow my own bad been expressed in follow my own bit.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_05]: And since 2017.

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_05]: And what that comes with is you know you receive your initiation.

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_05]: There's very sacred there's a lot of sacred stuff that happens because this is your life.

[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, a lot of people should have know what you're doing with you nobody should know your defense, you know, nobody should know your defense so it's a very sacred you know how you can say it's a very sacred coming together that

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_05]: happens. So I did mine in 2017. I'm in the process now of going in getting my initiation and something yeah, but within the years, I had to sit and communicate and do community work, you know, going to different spiritual houses

[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_05]: and helping with spiritual events we do spiritual masses where as a spiritual gathering, and we sit and we pray and there's a whole bunch of other readers there and a whole bunch of Santeros or Paleros or high priest or high priestess that are there we're coming together for a person to heal them.

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_05]: Some people get paid for it. Some people sit and do their community work.

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_05]: So that's a lot of community work that you have to do within the community work you align with elders the elder sitting you said I want to learn from you they teach you is different.

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_05]: It's so many different.

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_05]: It's just like school you got to go to different classes you got to go to science and social studies is the same thing when it comes to learning spirituality, but when it when it comes to working the spirituality, you know when it comes to, you know, working

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_05]: in diet, you know doing your prayers when it comes to different rituals and stuff like that. There's a lot of knowledge you have to do, but at the same time you have to go within.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_05]: Right, you have to go within you know your knowledge and what you learn you know we holistically was a lot of many of us spiritual people are holistic healers.

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_05]: We love to work with herbs we love to work with nature we sit when you learn the herb and you it's not learning like oh my God it can sometimes it might just come to you, but you have to sit and read history of where all of this is coming from.

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_05]: How why they sit and they use it what was it that made them sit and use this as a way of healing is journey there's many different journeys because it's again it's spirituality we believe that this truth and everything so if I believe that this truth and everything and I want to sit

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_05]: and learn Buddhism, I have to sit and go get the knowledge and even practice it to even over stand what it is right right and some then there's so many spiritual culture even religious culture that they will sit and tell you you're not allowed and as a spiritualist I have to respect it.

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_02]: But I know along this journey getting educated. What were some of the challenges you had to face during the journey. Many of the challenges was the false prophets.

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_05]: I think that was like the main challenges that I had to deal with. I dealt with a lot of elders who I felt were very knowledgeable but they wasn't using this for good reasons.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_05]: They will say, you know, in this world that we're in people could pick up on your energy people can pick up on your gift and sometimes you can meet an elder and your gift is just maybe just as powerful or just as just above them, and they want to sit in and real you in.

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_05]: I'll give an example when I did my scratching for follow my own but my Godfather at the time me him were very cool.

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_05]: No he says I see it and you see your longevity. This is what you have to do, and I'm not going to say here say the stuff that he was saying was not correct because again, when I did my scratching, and I followed the rules and then I needed to do look at where I'm at now I cannot complain I'm grateful, but who he was, it didn't rock on me anymore because

[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_05]: now he felt like you, you initiating me yes and I have this respect for you.

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_05]: And but you're just my elder, we're still human, you're still we're still the same age, and the whole real of the reality. You got your bullshit I got mine.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_05]: You understand and I had to deal with a lot of people that didn't really want to help me they just wanted to use me. So that's the best one of the biggest biggest challenges that I had to deal with even as a little girl because even as a little girl at 14 years old, I may not know a lot

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_05]: of the challenge is the name calling, you know the people not overstanding what it is that you believe and and people I've gotten beat up I've gotten jumped I've gotten into a lot of altercations to where I was told I need to be dressed in white when I was little because I got to protect myself

[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_05]: because I'm gifted and I'm walking down the street and people are making fun of me to calling me a nun and I got to punch you in the mouth, because I was young and that's just what it was you know and then when you sit and you get into the reality of things.

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh she hit me now I gotta sit and I gotta defend myself so it being called a demon you know it.

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_05]: I was called demon child, I was called devil worshipper, I'm called witch I've been threatened.

[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_05]: Right now I'm in the process of trying to figure out how could I hide all my information because we've been hunted for thousands and thousands and thousands of years, especially our people because the Europeans don't want us to know our stuff.

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_05]: So when we sit and we get and we tap in and we're here telling people this is what gotta be, we're leading you to your purpose. They don't like that, especially this is very therapeutic and if somebody comes to us and we're like baby for you to move on and for you to get to where you need to, you need to let go of this.

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, this person is not was blocking you. This is the energy family friend folk you have to release it. This man is not doing good for you. We, many of us readers will have gotten tapped into where it's like your niggas cheating on you and you have to stop.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, this is not good. There's nothing that I could sit and do no matter how much I try to change the energy spirit is like no, leave him, leave him.

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, so we go through those things and then it hits, of course, the collectives and the finding out the truth and then the person that was doing the harm, the person that was doing the wrong was sitting threaten us.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to kill you bitch, or they actually will. They are gonna find you. We have people is this has been going on for years for thousands and thousands of years. So, you know, we, that's the one of the challenges of a spiritual person that chooses to sit and move by faith.

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and move by what it is that makes sense to me and mainly knowledge of what makes sense and that I have facts on because I don't like to talk on things and I don't argue, because a lot of people see me as a very argue and stuff like that and it's like I get it you know I do.

[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_05]: But over the same I'm arguing or something that I feel and I know I have the facts on I'm not going to argue with anybody and I don't know. You know, so we have these people, we have these people and it's not all but we have that they attack us. So that's a challenge that we have to deal with as well as a challenge.
