[00:00:00] All right y'all get ready for another edition of Newz and Trendz with your host Dave and Len. Welcome, welcome, welcome to Newz and Trendz with Dave and Len. This is one of your host, Mr. Dave and Coker, the prior to Dave Mark Inc.

[00:00:41] For motor, you've been planning on all around good guys hanging out with my partner Mr. Len at Young and Fabulouser. Hey Dave, everything is good. This is Leonard Young, CEO of National Black Guide. DelawareBlack.com, Black Media Specialist and all around good guy. How goes, Dave?

[00:01:01] Uh, I can't complain, man. This one day at a time, you know, just hanging out in this world trying to be a part of it. You know, whenever they allow me to be, you know what I mean? Yeah, Dave, you're just a squirrel out in the world.

[00:01:16] That's right, that's what I'm trying to be not trying not to give rain over by car as I call it the street, you know, all right.

[00:01:22] Yeah. So how about just everything, all right? Yeah, you know, everything is good. Just another, another week closer to the end of the year. That's about it. You're doing anything in recent weeks. I said the end of the year is coming quick too. That's crazy. No, scary.

[00:01:43] Yeah, it is scary. But now I didn't really do anything this weekend, man. I kind of chilled this weekend.

[00:01:50] Not the work on Saturday for a little bit. And then, um, now I didn't really do anything really big. It's up to start, you know, you know, just watching a couple things on TV, you know, where you're thinking, you know, we're going to be just the Olympics and stuff like that, you know.

[00:02:08] But other than that, um, no, it was kind of chill, man. You do anything exciting and he's win me to anything going on. Wow, you know, really it was kind of, uh, I mean, in a good way. It was un-eventful.

[00:02:24] Oh, yeah, I know you need to have those every now and especially if you need to have those every now and then. Right.

[00:02:32] Yeah, yeah, yeah, so, but here we are. Another week is another Tuesday and actually the weather's not too bad today. It's really a nice day today. So, not too hot. So here we are. I guess, um, ready to talk about some things and whatever.

[00:02:56] So, you know, I guess we're going to go in and get right into the show today. You know, we got a few things that we want to talk about. First of all, we have to do a public service announcement here.

[00:03:07] Um, I know you guys were a lot of you guys are tuning in to hear new council County, um, candidate for county executive. Mr. Marcus Henry tonight we had advertised that he was going to be on tonight. Unfortunately, something came up. He asked the reschedule.

[00:03:30] And we will try to get him on at a later date. So it's unfortunate, um, you know, I know you wanted to come on tonight, but I'm running to a scheduled and conflict. So, um, so we will try to get him back on and another time.

[00:03:48] So you got me in letters tonight. So hopefully that's not this appointment till you got to know. Yeah, there you go. There you go. So but we're going to try to keep you entertained as we always do so.

[00:04:03] All right. So we're going to go ahead and get into tonight's show because we got a few things we want to talk about. So, um, we're going to lead off with whatever everybody's talking about the Olympics right now, well, leads a lot of people are.

[00:04:17] You know, um, I actually think the Olympics has been really, really good. So for what do you think? They, I kind of have mixed feelings. I know. So we want that as always.

[00:04:36] Well, okay. So two things. One, I feel like the Olympics is a lot more exciting when the main events are aired or night time. Oh, when it's not doing the day you mean, yeah, yeah, you know, I mean, I just so like, for instance, um,

[00:04:57] I think it was live. But you know, I got home today a little early, you know, that's turned on the TV and they had the final for some swimming events.

[00:05:07] And I was like, damn, you know, I wouldn't have a drink ready and kind of kind of held up my height.

[00:05:13] So I, you know, I don't know. I just feel like nighttime when you know, you kind of get pumped up to see them and you know, they had them all lined up.

[00:05:22] And then, but that's why you don't pay attention. But that's why you don't pay attention to anything doing the day time. Don't turn on any sports. You just kind of chill tonight. Um, you know, you know their head over, right? You already know that.

[00:05:37] You heard the day, but they, they're not playing when nighttime. They're playing on when they play. And I mean, you know, you can put channels and watch the brand of replays. But at least Tokyo, I feel like, you know, they were just all lined up at.

[00:05:54] And I mean, I know, you know, I don't want to watch the way on my internet and I'm playing them. I've been watching everything in there. I mean, they have so they've this leads to my second point. Social media is ruining the Olympics.

[00:06:10] Because everybody's talking about it before you watch it. And everybody's posting about it. So it's like even a person swimming, you know, I'm scrolling through my feed.

[00:06:19] There's, you know, there's a couple of different swim pages are follow in all of them are like, oh, someone so broke the world record. Someone so got gold. Someone so did that first second and it's like,

[00:06:30] I didn't even get to see the race. I ain't get to see Bill Noah suspense. And I know you said stay off a TV, but they always stay off TV and social media.

[00:06:40] How do I know how to say that's the difference between a person who grew up doing the computer age and a person that did. Because somebody like me, we know how to not pay attention to things for less we want to like if I didn't want to know.

[00:06:58] I had I'm conditioning enough not to want to look at anything and until I am ready to look at it, you know, because at one time, because I've been watching the Olympics since I was a kid.

[00:07:12] And so back during when I was a kid, you only saw those events when they showed them to. We didn't know anything at all. You know, you know, or we might, you know, or we found out on the 11 clock news or something like that, what was going on.

[00:07:28] But, you know, of course as the time went by and computers became more of a thing, then then nearly, you know, then almost everything started becoming to you.

[00:07:42] And they were happening, you know, so. And yeah, it does for those who don't want to know, it does ruin everything. I mean, it's just like when you go to take something now.

[00:07:54] If putting a vent now outside their Olympics, it could be a sporting event that you might say if it's a swimming that you want to watch. And you know, and you go to record it and you say, okay, I'll watch it when I get home.

[00:08:08] You're trying everything you can not listen to anything. Not look at your phone, you know, whatever. So you can watch it when you get home.

[00:08:17] A lot of table, a lot of sporting events and a lot of it. Yeah, I might know before I get to watch it with the score was whatever and I said, okay, well, I'm still going to watch it because I want to see what actually happened that led to the score. That's the way I look at it now.

[00:08:33] So, you know, and I understand, I still want to see it, but this suspense is gone.

[00:08:40] Yeah. Yeah, and I know, it's fancy like I know what the swimming, the two main things that you know, we were, you know, that we're going to be passionate about this, you know, like you got the swimming.

[00:08:53] And then you got the track and fill with starts on Thursday. And of course, you know, we'll know have to stop before we even watch a lot of this stuff, you know, you know, so, you know.

[00:09:03] So, but there's still been interesting because even like, did you watch the men's gymnastics last night? No. Oh, man, Leonard, down that was crazy. That was crazy.

[00:09:18] You know, the US men, the national team had them one of a medal in like 20 something years. You know, a medal any kind of medal. So, last night the team came down that it was the team competition and came down to you know, they needed.

[00:09:44] It came down to their very last event whether or not they were going to get a medal or not. Now, keep in mind that one guy left one, let's go. This guy had the sitting around for five hours. The only thing he does is the palm of horse.

[00:10:04] Okay. The palm of horse and he doesn't do any of the other events. So only thing now, he's been sitting around for five hours while they go through all these other four exercises and everything.

[00:10:16] They show him going to sleep. You know, sit there and put, yeah, I mean, but he's supposed to be like the expert at this from a horse.

[00:10:27] So it comes down to they need him to go up and put up an excellent routine for them to get a medal.

[00:10:37] This guy and he's like the nerdy is guy of the group. You know, the only thing the group is a guy with the glasses. I don't know if you seen the group he had a glass.

[00:10:46] Got him mind your clock can in the kind of way, you know, because he takes his glasses off to do the palm of horse. So he gets up there and everybody, you know, he the whole fleet of everything is on him.

[00:10:59] He gets up there and deliver this like crazy routine. I mean, yeah, and he gets a high score and he comes off at that palm of horse and you would have thought it was Patrick in the home. They raised that dude up and this is when crazy because they knew even though they hadn't seen the scores yet that this dude just killed it.

[00:11:22] And you hear all the fans going crazy with whatever it was just like crazy moment and finally they put the scores up and their guaranteed.

[00:11:34] It was against because they still have one more team to go, which was to pan have one more person to go and to pan and China were battling out for either for first place.

[00:11:47] And so they, but you know, but they knew at that time that they had one of metal. They just didn't know whether it was going to be silver or bronze. The pan goes up there, does what it does they end up getting the gold silver went to China.

[00:12:09] And they got the bronze and Americans got the bronze man you would have thought they wanted to support both. They and so overjoyed because of the mental long system in the middle.

[00:12:18] And they picked that dude up man and it was just crazy. I can't believe you didn't see that. Now I didn't. So so they have the camp ground we don't really have the tables.

[00:12:34] We have cable but we could not find our cable remote. So we weren't able to change any of the channels. Oh my god that tells you that tells you we're in a different day and time man.

[00:12:46] Look, it's going to the day you go walk up to the TV. It's a channel. That's right. Oh man that's messed up man that was you need to if you get a chance. This this this.

[00:12:59] Yeah, I'll go and look it up. Looking up just to see that the whole. But just how everything unfolded even though you might even though you know what happens. It still works thing. What happened? So that was great. And that's what the Olympics is all about that moment.

[00:13:18] And you know I sold the day, you know that the women did well. I don't want to say anything because I want to watch it. Please. Yeah yeah. But yeah I really enjoyed it.

[00:13:33] And yeah you write, you know we the only thing about the Olympics is you don't catch it in a real time. But a lot of these countries that the Olympics are in.

[00:13:43] There are on a different time zone and even when they next the next Olympics going to be here in LA they're going to be three hours behind this. Right. You know, you know.

[00:13:54] So you know let's say having here on the East Coast man we always will be behind you know. Yeah. So but um. But you know it's been I think it's been fun so far and and I've enjoyed it.

[00:14:08] Hopefully you guys you know you guys that have been watching or whether you haven't been watching. Let us know what you think about the Olympics and you know.

[00:14:18] Lent in and I will be talking about it until it's over you know course you know like I said you know we're. We got to track and feel coming up and that's you know that's going to be.

[00:14:28] It's going to be really interesting there's a lot of stories to unfold and tracking fields will see what happens. Um. Anything else you want to say about the Olympics before we move on?

[00:14:40] No I mean I'm I'm just excited to see track and field and I will set my. My reminders so I can try to see all those events live because I don't want to hear about. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:14:53] All right and I will say the swimming has been interesting because there's been some unpredictability with the swimming so far too. Like not not everybody has one that you thought was going to win, you know what I mean.

[00:15:08] I mean it all started with a decade coming in third place. I was I was I was going to have this from this point on and I got to give I got to give I got to give our girl a small manual. Um because remember the relay race.

[00:15:24] Hmm. They were losing balance as the moment was like, Chicago and a water. Yeah. She's right back there. She's got 50 more meters. She has 50 more meters. She was not. She was a car digger. You know so. So um but it should be it to be interesting.

[00:15:43] So we'll see how things go the rest of the way right now I think the. The American going into the day was still up in the metal count by the way. But Japan had the most gold medals. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. All right.

[00:16:04] Well, you know we got some more you got some more stuff coming up so we'll be talking to you guys again next Tuesday about that. So. Okay. All right. Let's move on to our next story. I came across this um. Um this real video about.

[00:16:24] Pastor down in Houston. Who. Had gotten tired of what. The Republican candidate had been saying about our. Vice President Miss Kamala Harris. We were going to play for you. What he had to say. And um. I'm going to have it on on coming to the presidential nominee.

[00:16:58] I'm a confess. I wasn't too happy about that. But I'm only in now. I'm 100% now. For this reason. I'm just this representative from. From Tennessee. Sorry, Connie from Tennessee. He called her a D.E. I. Candidate. And then he started calling a color.

[00:17:37] Then he started calling out of her name. And as a black man. I can't let no white man talk about no sister like that. And I'm not taking a French to it. Because who is more disqualified than Donald Trump? And Republicans are all in.

[00:18:08] Because he is the avatar for their grievance. How qualified does a black person have to be? Graduated at the top of a client's at Howard. Went to law school. And I was a attorney general of a state. A United States senator of vice president of the United States.

[00:18:31] But she's not qualified. I'm all in. Because I'm not going to let any white man tell me how I ought to feel about a black person. Sully the road we've tried. What do you think about what he has to say?

[00:18:58] I mean, I think it's kind of like what we are. You know, Donald Trump. I mean, if we're talking about credentials, Combolize, qualify, Donald is not. But what about you? Right. Well, and you basically took it right there. Donald is quick to try to discredit her.

[00:19:18] Based on credentials. And of course, you know, you've seen the commercial. But the commercials have been slander. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, you know, he's going just as hard against her or even harder than he did against Biden. You know, so.

[00:19:35] And so, but he keeps trying to go on her credentials and her records. But what records does Donald Trump has? What credentials does he have? And so, you know, that you can talk about this woman the way you do. What do you have? Well, you know what?

[00:19:56] I feel like the more he talks about other people and even those natural. I feel like he thinks it takes to heat off himself. Well, it definitely causes a distraction because he got to talk about himself. And he doesn't have to produce anything.

[00:20:14] But, you know, we see the people that follow him. You know, and there a lot like him. You know, in a lot of ways, you know. And we see the people that she does with. It's no comparison. Yeah. You know, who was that? Bill Gates X-White?

[00:20:36] Did you see where he pledged to her campaign? Yeah, it was like 12 million. No, it was more than that. Oh, how much was it? It was like 30 or 50. It was like that. It was, it was a lot of money.

[00:20:50] You know, so, you know, the people that are contributing to her campaign are all well established people like she is. You know, and the pastor does read all her credential.

[00:21:07] You know, you know, the fact that you can, you can sit there and try to talk about this woman the way you do. Whether you agree with her not because of everything he says, look, I wasn't in favor of her. That's the first thing he said.

[00:21:25] But then he said, even I have to say, you know, that she has, she has a credential. And, you know, and she definitely has proven that she can do what she does. So, you know, meanwhile, you got, you go out of Trump goes out of pictures.

[00:21:47] Jady van's person that people are going to say, yeah, we're going to go to that to the zoo there. You know, so it's really crazy that he can do what he does. I don't know if you guys that are listening, you guys that are paying attention.

[00:22:08] You know, a lot of pastors try to say neutral. A politics when it comes to politics. You know, except for, you know, the house jarffins and Jesse Jackson, those type of guys.

[00:22:21] But a lot of the pastors, I know my pastor is that way, I know quite a few pastors don't like to talk to them as politics because they live in the middle. Yeah, they don't want to get in the middle.

[00:22:31] And, of course, you know, there's the old act. There's a couple things you do not talk about when I'm in the middle. Yeah, yeah, other politics, you know. So, I mean, they think about it.

[00:22:42] If you have a congregation of 100 people and half of them are for publicism, half of them are Democrats, you don't want to turn off either. Yeah, because you aren't that, that's not being the building fund, the church fund. Yeah, I'm fine. Yeah, I'm fine. Yeah, I'm fine.

[00:22:59] But at the end of the year, what's party as a Muslim? That could be the second meeting, the church thing open or close. Yeah, he's a woman. So, yeah, they normally don't like to get involved.

[00:23:12] So, and you can tell even when this guy started talking, when this guy started talking, he was like, all right, let me be for my offices by saying, you know, this part. But then he said, well, I'm not going to let him talk about her.

[00:23:27] You know, so I'm all in because we can't have him in office. Yeah, so, but folks, you know, I wanted to put that out there. And unfortunately, they didn't give the past his name, so you know, I can't call his name. He's an article that gives his name.

[00:23:51] But he definitely made his point. You guys can let us know what you think about that. And if you have any comments, you can go to our Facebook page and leave a comment about that story. But I just thought it was something that we're talking about. Okay?

[00:24:09] All right, well, we got an excerpt. Yep, so this is an interesting story. When I first read the title, it made me curious to see what the visual looked like. So the title of this article says, endo-a-cp leader kicked out of restaurant for alleged revealing outfit.

[00:24:31] What comes to your mind? That it was, I know you're going to go to Twitter that there was probably a woman that had or something that was probably provocative or something like that. Okay? Okay. And I mean, that's the same thing I thought.

[00:24:51] So local NAACP leader and Baton Rouge, why mean McClannahan was planning to have lunch at Staph's Prim House take good last week when she was booted for violating the restaurant's dress code policy.

[00:25:11] So she said that she left feeling kind of mortified by a lady, a shame and really humiliated because something like that had never happened to her and her profession.

[00:25:22] She said, she said you feel alienated and like, well, you know, what's wrong with me? What's the problem with me? So they, I am going to bring up the footage. And this is what she's wearing.

[00:25:39] Okay. So basically, it will be like, I'm saying, how I'm working on a dog for the time. And I didn't hold my hand tight just now. But here from our community, it will be for the alien. What do you think about this outfit?

[00:25:59] Well, you know what is this interesting now? This is like a two-piece name. You know, it doesn't have straps. So it's put a like a like, like, let me say this. It's put a like an off the top.

[00:26:12] It's covered, you know, she's not, I will say she's not wearing a bra apparently. If she is, it's a half bra without straps. That's a cover in her boots and she's not, she's not an egg cup. I'm going to tell you that nail photo. She's busty.

[00:26:30] And she is a, I'm, I'm, she's a plus side person and her stomach is shown. So it's one of my, you kind of, yeah, I took a say a very little slither of her stomach is showing.

[00:26:48] Yeah, stomach is showing. I mean, it's not all out. It's better showing. Yeah. But it's not all out. And the dress, she has a skirt on that's a long skirt. There are also like, if she had a hat on something you would see with people wearing it,

[00:27:03] You know, on a beach or in a resort area type thing. I don't think it's something that she should be kicked out of the restaurant for sure that if he was on one of a different view. But it's that way that they wouldn't have been asked to leave.

[00:27:21] And if she was a smaller size person, could I think there was two things going on? It might be not only because she's black and she says he's worn that out to their few times. Okay. I'm important to what I just saw.

[00:27:39] Yes. So Dave, I'm going to play this second part of the video. This is when she encounters the manager. You know why I can't come in with what I have just to revealing it to her. But she has waitresses and her vision is back even if it's halfway.

[00:27:57] How long is a while? Because I was just in here too. Okay, well, I'm just saying how long she was going on for a year. Mm-hmm. So a two week, two top outfit is too much with world from H&M. This $75 outfit.

[00:28:21] I mean it's not about how much it's not. I'm not saying that much revealing. But my first thing I've ever covered yourself. You know. Yep. So she's basically saying that's the dress code. And Dave, you know, I just thought what's funny on the side of how she said,

[00:28:37] I wore this same outfit here two weeks ago. I'm glad you didn't. But yeah, yeah. That's it. Okay, my God. Hey, let's let's let's say what's going on here. This is the wifey male that's the manager or whoever she is. That's the host that's been talking to her.

[00:28:59] And, you know, now the only issue real issue with this outfit is that she doesn't have anything covering her shoulders. And that's what I think is, that's what the woman is trying to make a big deal out of is that she her shoulders out.

[00:29:16] Now keep in mind, she's standing there with a almost like a tank top t-shirt on that barely is covering her shoulders, right? Mm-hmm. Okay. So definitely. Um, we can tell that she was targeted. I think. Um, and now that was a male.

[00:29:47] I was you think she would have gotten that the male would have retreated through the same way. Uh-oh. Later. Sorry. I didn't realize it. There you go. Yeah. I'm trying to get the male would have treated her the same. I don't think so.

[00:30:13] Um, unless you know, I think the only people who would have treated her the same would be people that are targeting her. Now they if I was in a restaurant and I saw this lady walk by. Nothing in my head would jump jump around and say, um,

[00:30:29] she's not adhering to the dress code. You know, without even knowing what the dress code is, nothing in my mind would think she's violating that dress code policy. All right. It does go by. She would want it to be comfortable.

[00:30:43] But, you know, I mean, the outfit itself is a nice one. The outfit. I mean, yeah. It's not like she's not wearing a dress. She's not wearing anything. Trashy clothes. No. The outfit itself is a nice outfit.

[00:30:55] It's just that, you know, I got said I just think that the woman's targeted her and that, you know, she tried to make a big thing. Because the, the top is like she said a two top type thing. It has no straps and her shoulders are out.

[00:31:14] That's only thing that's wrong with the outfit, really. Yeah. And if anything is wrong with it, that's the only thing they can find wrong with it. That doesn't have anything covered in shoulders. Right. I posted the video to our Facebook page.

[00:31:30] So hopefully one is listening, you know, go to news and trends. David, land Facebook page and you know watch the video. You know, see the image and, you know, let us know what you think. Yeah, come on. Yeah.

[00:31:42] Definitely leave some comments of what you thought because we want to make sure that, Hey, look, that will we're looking at is an art opinion. There's, you know, pretty much everybody else these are there or, you know,

[00:31:56] of course you can give your own opinion as to what you say. Because, you know, this woman I'm sure is not going to stop here with what, you know, sort of letting them get away with that because she apparently had some poled in that air.

[00:32:15] You know, see, as a poled. So I'm sure that we who knows maybe he is we're all, you know, because it's, you know, because it definitely shows, it doesn't show anything wrong with that outfit at all.

[00:32:32] So you guys can take a look and see what you guys think about it as well. Okay. All right. Do you have anything else to say about that one? No, I mean, I think we've seen it all. Yeah. Okay. All right. Moving on to our next story.

[00:32:54] Um, one of our favorite people that talk about because she likes to find herself as hot water from time to time. It's Tiffany added, added. Um, recently took a trip to the Embobway Africa.

[00:33:11] And I don't know if any of you guys got a chance to see this video or heard about this video that she did when she went shopping in a supermarket down there. But it's kind of caused a lot of controversy over what she had to say.

[00:33:28] But we're going to play the video for you so you can hear the video. Um, you ready? Hey, yeah. So I'm out here in the Embobway in Arhar. And let's hit the grocery store. They got a grocery store. It's beautiful. They're grocery stores. It's beautiful and aggressive.

[00:33:54] Oh, look at these. Organic straw bear beads. This would all of, they sell sugar can out. And it is fire. They got this. Dates on dead. How much are these? $67. By the price is different. But they do look like this expensive store. This huge is absolutely humongous.

[00:34:28] An Africa baby. Yeah. Believe it, believe it, believe it, believe it. Africa. Think about where. Uh huh. Oh, baby. I'm out. I just like to mystify. They've been smell bad. And then they meet the pot. Look at that. Look at all that. They got the sodas.

[00:35:09] They got a whole wall out of. They got a frozen section. Uh huh. They got out of this. They got some of these out of there. Uh, uh huh. Uh, look at that. I'm like the grocery store is out of. They actually sell dishes. Look at that.

[00:35:40] I mean, some of us sell dishes. They have a Christmas box. So, the whole thing was about how. You know, see you was mystified. It's been believed how. Um. Out this grocery store had all the stuff. I figured what so I'm on read.

[00:36:11] I want to read a couple things real quick about this. So, um. Uh, Tiffany had it depends. The Bob play video at the back last. American comedian Tiffany had it. And it was a woman who had it on her account for a certain takeoff video of her.

[00:36:28] Bid it to the supermarket and the bobways. And that it was aimed at the spelling perceptions that there would or every day in Africa. Had it's faith that backlash from the bobby women on social media, after she posted

[00:36:46] the video of her stolen through the aisle of a supermarket chain and capital. And that's where I look at this grocery store. It's a luggage in Africa. She says, and this leaf has to scan the road. Love's felt we're covering 12 and the heat's fresh fruit.

[00:37:06] The video at that time had been viewed over 200 times on TikTok. And then, um, had it posted a response to the criticism on ads. Saying that she had been taught a false narrative about Africa.

[00:37:23] I am American, a black one at that and told for you that people are starving in Africa. So, pictures of babies were flies. She had it and she was told crazy stories about how Africans killed each other. And there were four or three days.

[00:37:40] But had it said that her trip is in Broadway has opened her eyes. And that she had been finding out the truth about the continent. I thought I would share because I know people wouldn't do a thing. That belief Africa don't have any things to do with it.

[00:37:56] So that's what her group was. That was her whole purpose of saying everything in posting the video. Now, um, which is, you know, interesting and she comes from an African descent because her father, I'm not saying it with Africa. So, um,

[00:38:16] what did you, were you a fan about the video or anything she said in the video or the way she was acting in the video? So, you know, as funny as it is, that was my first time actually seeing that video. I did hear about it.

[00:38:31] I heard about it though. I heard about it. I've never watched it. So, they, you know, with me, it's always two things come to mind. One is, she's a comedian. You know, I would expect nothing less than for her to be kind of cracking some jokes.

[00:38:52] You know, playing on some sarcasm, which I feel like she was. And then two day one, your second point, only because I traveled to Africa this past February. I'm Ghana. I think a lot of what she says is true.

[00:39:11] I mean, we hear about how Africans are living, poverty, diseases, you know, flies on little babies head feed the children. And when I went to Africa, I saw things that were totally different. And unfortunately, Dave, I saw some things that were just like,

[00:39:31] just like, I, you know, just like, they said we were, you know, this kind of like, if you're in a large city, you know, you'll see the better parts. When we went out to the rural rural parts, it looked like we were taught how it looked.

[00:39:50] So, to be honest, I'm really not knocking here. I don't feel like she said anything wrong. Well, I'm sorry in the video and in the response she read, you know, that's a little bit different, but I felt like she was mostly joking

[00:40:07] because, you know, it reminded me of that sketch she did. And I don't know what movie it was or show where she walked in some ways out and he's like, oh, this is nice. I ain't no rope shoes or nothing.

[00:40:19] You know, so it kind of reminded me of that. And you know, she's a comedian. She's not trying to make everybody laugh and that's kind of what I thought it was. Okay. Um, yeah, I think I kind of got the impression.

[00:40:40] Excuse me, is that she wasn't trying to offend anybody. And I think that she was just quite off-board by a special, that particular store. And if you look at the video folks and are you, or they'll put that on your own to fix what they do, right?

[00:41:00] If you look at the video, the place is a very big, kind of reminds you of a BJ type, look to it, you know, it's a big store. The thing about it is, so I guess, had everyone's go a little bit to fix it because, you know,

[00:41:21] the way she kept a looting to Africa and, you know, that they have this and they have that. You know, it kind of made her appear not to have a lot of knowledge about where she was. You know what I mean? And, and like you've been in Africa.

[00:41:47] I know there's a couple of people with my churches came back from Ghana. Recently, yeah, my pastor was in, well, they just came back from Kenya. I should say, my pastor was in Ghana. Also, um, this past year. And yeah, it definitely is a different,

[00:42:05] in certain places you go into because they actually had to come back to Kenya, but they're still the video from a supermarket in Kenya that sort of looked like that. When my pastor and people went. So, and did you guys go on the store?

[00:42:19] Any stores like that when you were in Ghana? Yeah, yeah. I mean, we want to have some supermarkets that weren't just like supermarkets. We see over here. My, my name's the products. You know, we ain't recognized all the products. Yeah. That's why we're going to have a product.

[00:42:34] Yeah. That's why it's the vibe of the store. Man, just like that. Right now, I just think Sydney has been scored with some things that she's done. And so everything is on her microscope right now with her.

[00:42:54] And no matter which she says it does right now, and she says, come to Rome, it's going to be magnified. Or if it appears to do something wrong, it's going to be magnified. I think she's kind of taking a little bit of a role deal here.

[00:43:14] But you know, it's going to be careful about which folks on social media, and that's where she made her mistake. You know, that's why I think so. And I don't think she was being really malicious with it, but as she tried to explain

[00:43:34] that, even though she might have put it wrong. But you know, this kind of be careful, you got to be prepared in what you want to say when you post certain things because, especially if you were celebrity, because it could come out like this.

[00:43:51] So you guys can share your thoughts about what you thought of the video and whether you feel that Tiffany was wrong or whether you just feel that people are, but two series these days, you know, everybody needs to get a life because that's what some people have

[00:44:13] read some comments or people who don't need to go like, you know. So definitely you can now let us know about that. All right. We got another story. I don't know, did you see this Amandafield posting? Maybe because I do follow her on social media.

[00:44:37] So I mean, you know, she says a lot. She has a lot of commentary so I made her do that. She does have a lot to say. She does. I listen, I kind of switch on my way to work in the morning.

[00:44:49] I just wouldn't back and forth between channels between her and the F and so forth in the morning, you know. But this, I found this on social media yesterday actually and she was speaking on a commoner, Harry.

[00:45:08] Well, well, now they, I will say, just a brief side note. I am a Amandafield fan. So I just want to go ahead. Okay. All right. There's a lot of Amandafield fans out there. I go said, I listen to her. I mean, she's a very smart girl.

[00:45:24] I will make that. She really is. All right. Let me change that. She's a very smart woman. Let me change that. Let me change that. But you know, sometimes, you know, her opinion does kind of make you go.

[00:45:40] You know, so let's play with you had to say about commoner, Harry. Personal Harris, stating things. I don't need politicians to state things. I need politicians to do things. When I met with Kamala Harris, after she summoned me, I said to her straight up, you

[00:46:08] talk out two sides of your neck and we don't know what you're talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if it's Kamala Harris who's trying to shut me the fuck up because I told her straight up that I feel like she is disingenuous in her messaging.

[00:46:27] And she said to me, well, you're being too critical. And I said, I am a voter. I'm supposed to be critical. That's my job. And I want to see actions. She said, well, how am I supposed to talk about racism in America without talking Americans racist?

[00:46:53] As I said, well, first of all, there are many. There are many racist Americans. But there's also policy, legislation, institution and systems that are racist, that need to be addressed. They need to be addressed.

[00:47:11] And if you're not going to do that in an actualized way and in a loud, bold way, people will never really know where you're coming from. Well, you can't tell me how I feel. I'm telling you how you feel. I'm telling you how you sound.

[00:47:25] I'm telling you how you sound. OK, the truth is that you should always, always question your source and what are their intentions. And what you all need to know is that I don't need to do any of this. I don't need to talk about any of this.

[00:48:00] Putting clips of Kamala Harris stating things. I don't need politicians to state things. I need politicians to do things. All right, so it looked around. Yeah, right. So man, the still, ladies and gentlemen, you know, a man that still has no filter.

[00:48:25] He says, we see once a day. And so this is her talking about her having a conversation with Kamala Harris by President Kamala Harris. You heard what she had to say about racism and so forth, so forth. Now, I know you're a man that's still a fan.

[00:48:48] And I actually like a man that's still a washer on TV and stuff like that. I listen to her show from time to time and she does make a lot of good points. I think my really, um, okay, I think my, my real feelings on this is this.

[00:49:15] And it's so funny because when I'm thinking is something I see off to the side where somebody commented on it. And this is my same post. Let me read this comment right. This one person named Jay said, did Amanda still meet the other candidate.

[00:49:32] Did he do the same? She wants to vice president Harris to do. Does she have the same expectations of the other candidate or is this a way of saying in the news cycle now? She said a lot just then.

[00:49:52] But a lot of that could be applied to the candidate that's running against her. Because we know what he is, and we know what he does. And we know how he feels. Because he's done each stone with everything. I feel, yeah.

[00:50:12] Every politician has some type of issue I feel. That we're never going to see. I all of a sudden, never going to see eye to eye with everything at politicians. Convillers and called out about early records as a district attorney. She's been called out about the borders.

[00:50:37] He's been called out about a few days. That one Trump can get called out every minute of the day for something. I just feel why bring this to the public about the candidate that looks like you.

[00:51:07] Why not talk about the candidate that doesn't look like you that we know has issues and have been found guilty of a lot of issues? That's my fault, I'm sorry. Would you be interested in you?

[00:51:27] Yeah, so I mean one kind of getting back to the game what you said. I think in man to see, she knows what to do to stay relevant in the news cycle. You know, because controversy always, you know, controversy gets spread more than anything else.

[00:51:46] She knows what to do. Now my question is, so of course, you know, I'm curious. Okay, so if she didn't meet with comela Harris, she was very vague on what they talked about. So it's kind of like, if she's saying, and this is just for me personally,

[00:52:05] if she's saying that comela Harris is contradicting herself, I wish she would have explained, okay, you said that you were going to do this and you did not do this. But it's almost like by just saying general things, I always

[00:52:19] she's contradicting herself, she's doubling back, you know, stuff like that. We don't, we don't actually know what she's talking about. You know, so I would have liked to hear her, I would have like to have heard a little more details on what exactly the contradictions were.

[00:52:43] Okay, I get that. I get that. But doesn't the other candidate contradict themselves every time they open their mouth? Yeah, yeah, now I mean, I do, I'm not doubting that, but it's kind of like in a

[00:52:56] fur conversation. It's almost like you remember when I, uh, whoa, whoa, who a Christian keys, you remember when he made just some some general anonymous statements that made your black producer had tried to molest them and it's like, you can't, I don't

[00:53:16] thought that without saying who, like who was it? Yeah. So, I mean, this wasn't on that scale, but it's still like, okay, she's like, let us know what the contradictions are because, you know, that's the only way we can prove back.

[00:53:33] Okay, but are you saying that you're not, is she saying she's not going to vote for her because of whatever these contradictions are and she's going to vote for the other side? I mean, I, I want to think she's much smarter to vote for the other side.

[00:53:54] I, I think she's staying relevant. You know, it's kind of like black people talking about Trump, a dime would does it. Black people talking about Kamala Harris, you know, I mean that,

[00:54:05] you know, that right there's it. That's what so funny is I listen to her show in the morning like I said, going back to court and saying I'm going to be the work and one of the things

[00:54:20] they talked about is how we have to get out of the book, we have to do this and we have to do that. And so she's saying get out of the book, black people, you know,

[00:54:32] so if she has all the issues that she seems to be saying based on the contradictions that she's talking about here, who's she telling people the book? I feel she's she's telling people do you research but it's kind of like great to be asked,

[00:54:56] I'm not going to know research, like I'm not going to say if if I'm borderline, that I need someone to kind of give me the details, you know, so it's kind of like

[00:55:10] Amanda seals is a professional she needs to give us the details. I'll just put it like that. All right, so you just feel that she needs to fill it then more on why she fills the way that she does

[00:55:24] about Kamala Harris, right? Which I find really interesting because why is it that we always have to try to give a clear understanding of why or how we fill about a black person versus how we fill about white people. Yeah and you know that's true, right? Yeah.

[00:55:55] Because it's improving over and over and over again if they tell us one thing, if they tell us something like somebody says you, then I got I got this great investment for you. All you got to do is invest $500 for white guys.

[00:56:14] I'll put you. You got to do it in best $500 so you're a couple of pieces of paper of course. So you have some statements and it looks good to you. There's a great chance that you might invest.

[00:56:26] I come to you with the same investment opportunity all day looks good but let me think about it a little bit and it's so forth and I never hear another word of it. What's the difference between

[00:56:38] the two of us? You know I'm saying you don't have to answer that but you know I get it because we seen it too many times so you know that's all I got to do back. All right, well folks,

[00:56:55] hopefully you have some feedback and references. I thought it was definitely some strong comments and I thought it was something that we need to explore because as we get closer to the primary that we get closer to the election and not just for the presidential election,

[00:57:17] you know these elections that are taking place right in your own towns and states and cities you need to pay attention to those people that are running in those positions too

[00:57:27] because they're the ones who affect you the closest and the ones that you have to deal with more on a regular everyday basis and you need to know who you're putting in office. You need to know what

[00:57:39] there's where platforms are standing on all of these things to make sure that they're standing on business on top of it. Okay? All right, let us know what you think. You know check us out

[00:57:55] and give your comments on it. All right, so that brings us to Leonard's favorite part of the show and I actually actually thought about this because of course the big movie that's out right now is Deadpool versus Wolverine or Wolverine versus what's funny?

[00:58:19] That's the whole thing. Deadpool versus Wolverine. You plan on going to see this, but you plan on checking it out. I would like to, but I probably will not. Okay, are your Deadpool fan? Yeah, I do like Deadpool. So is Deadpool and Wolverine?

[00:58:38] Wolverine, yeah. Okay, Deadpool and Wolverine. Of course, they miss you all the commercials. It's been looking good. Everybody says it's a great movie. It's gotten great rating to apply. So based on the fact that we have this movie coming out,

[00:58:56] I came up with this idea to do a virtual superhero versus. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to name some superhero. And that was going to a versus battle and you have to say,

[00:59:13] what's one do you think would win? Okay, so I know you are former comic book reader and so forth. So you know a lot about superheroes. But since we can, you know, I just talked

[00:59:27] about what I was saying the movie, neither one of us is saying the movie. Who do you think would win in a real battle against Deadpool against Wolverine? Warming. Okay, all right, even though they both had the same healing powers and everything, you know? Yeah. Okay,

[00:59:50] okay, you know, I guess I tend to agree with you there because I think well, they both had the ability to cut each other's head off. You know, you know, because we know they'd be dead then,

[01:00:01] I don't think they were the heal from that part, you know? Okay. But, um, I think I think I would get this flighted to Wolverine too. So okay, all right, so here we go. Here's

[01:00:15] my list. So I'm going to go to Jackie a little bit, but I think you are just curious to see who you go to say. All right, first one, Batman versus Black Widow. Okay, Dave, I'm not familiar with

[01:00:33] the black Widow as long as I got to go with Batman. How do you not know the black Widow is? I don't know. The costume from the Marvel. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I don't know. I'm going to

[01:00:45] go with Batman. Oh, okay, even though they had similar skills and everything, you're going to go with Batman. Yeah, we're just Batman and he's by the way, does he totally go?

[01:00:59] So I think you tell me about and I think anytime you can uh, in movie talk that you can put your hand around somebody's neck and lift them up and they cannot reach you with their hands or feet. I think that's just advantage right there.

[01:01:19] Yeah, first, first you're giving me no credit here. But you know, I want to understand what I think it would be as clear as you may in there because the time's gone from skill and

[01:01:36] you know, she'd be in many minutes, you know what I mean? So, um, and she had a little utility bill that were on, not like Batman, of course, but you know, but I would get the site as the

[01:01:48] Batman, but I don't think it'd be as big of a beat down as you say. I don't think it would be that big of a beat down. I think it'd be a closer beat now. I mean, they're a closer fight then, which

[01:01:59] is good. Okay, all right my next door versus Wonder Woman. They have a hate to be sexist. I wouldn't have to give it to Thor and the hammer. Wow, you know, these both were

[01:02:21] missed. People come from God like they're both God like creatures. They both have. She has, well, of course, Thor has the hammer and you've got a thunder. But she has the last arrow

[01:02:34] and she has the bracelet. She got to stop too, you know what I mean? She does. Yeah, um, I don't know. I think Wonder Woman can handle herself. Oh, you're gonna go, they don't,

[01:02:53] don't, don't be sexist like me. You know what? I think Wonder Woman can handle. I'm a good one to one. Since you went with Thor, I'm a go-one to one. I think she can handle. Yeah,

[01:03:06] I think she can handle. So, you know, all right here's another one. Another male versus female. I didn't realize I had three of them in the room. Superman versus Captain Mark.

[01:03:24] I'm gonna go with Captain Mark on this one. You know what? I think I'm gonna go with that too. Yeah, because you know, on the first Captain Marvel when she pulled in space and like exploded

[01:03:38] this old assistant, my well. Yeah, I don't know Superman is doing all that. Yeah, but yeah, um, you know, plus I think she's smart enough to figure out how this we can Superman, you know? So, um, yeah, okay, all right.

[01:03:57] I think that's the first one we agreed on. Okay, all right, the next one, the Hulk versus the thing. I'm gonna go with the Hulk. Okay, I tend to agree by slight heads because the thing ain't no joke either,

[01:04:19] but yeah, the Hulk puts a little powerful and the big leaky can take and all of that stuff. Even those things just strong. I don't think, uh, I don't think the Hulk, I think the Hulk is taking that crap. Yeah, here's another interesting one. Black Panther versus the

[01:04:44] iPhone man. Got them thinking, so got them thinking, you're looking up in this guy, trying to get it out. Yeah, I'm going to tell you. I, I may have to go with iPhone man.

[01:05:01] And we got a little bit of a set here. Yeah, because we're talking about Jason Mamoa, I'm right. We're talking about, we're talking about period with all the power and all the stuff said he has. Yeah, we can't. We cannot black Panther either. No, no, no, no, no,

[01:05:24] we, we're not knocking, but I'm just thinking about how he controls so much and see like Lord forbid it. Black Panther into the water. Like, yeah, that's all. Yeah, that's like an MMA fight

[01:05:36] when they put it when you go, they don't let them take you to the man. Don't let them take that. You know, so okay, all right. So he said, I'm a man, but that's a good one. What do you,

[01:05:47] what do you guys think? I'm curious to think with you guys what's going on? You know, Black Panther against the Alpha Man. All right, side board versus Iron Man. Oh, my, I gotta go with Tony

[01:06:05] Stark's all day long. Yeah, I got to go with Tony Stark too. That was my man anyway. You know, I think it's what you're going even though, side board ain't no joke, though. He got him. But yeah,

[01:06:18] okay, Martian man hunter versus Captain America. Okay, well, so I'm a huge Captain America saying and I don't even know who Martian, Marsh, Melo, man. No. Did you ever watch the death of Lee? I mean, they yeah, I didn't 40, 45 years ago, 40 years ago.

[01:06:47] You know what, you know, the movie, definitely movie? Probably not. Okay, I'm not kidding. Anyway, Marsh and man hunter was the leader of the death of the year one time. But you said you, we already

[01:07:02] know, you would pick since you were Captain America fan. So you know, take a lot to get rid of Captain America, right? Oh, yeah, yeah. All right. And my last one, the flash.

[01:07:17] Oh, I had to go and fix somewhere. Huh? I don't know. Okay, you do remember if we fill her with. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, no, no, no. What a, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm thinking of the silver server.

[01:07:36] You think about silver server, right? Okay, on a week's surface. The guy who was just even Marvel's version of the flash. He, uh, memory of Vendor. Yeah. Remember the twins, you know, the scarlet witch in her brother and he was real fast. Anyway, okay. He's a man that

[01:08:02] invents his movie. Yeah. Okay. I think he was worth that guy with yeah, that guy was actually like silver, but he's real and he was an X man at one time too. Yeah, coffee like in the movie wasn't he one of, but the next generation of X mode.

[01:08:21] Like one of the key. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, basically the same type of skill that flash has. But who's so you, or you still think, what's the original kind of flash? Only because I don't remember something like, oh, it's last. Oh, each of them,

[01:08:47] he tried to do some research, but you're real quick people. He's a Marvel guy, man. You know, DC guy and you and DC aren't you? Hmm. What do you know on you and the Marvels?

[01:09:00] Are you a little bit of DC? No, no, no, I feel like you're cheating both. Yeah, no, so I just posted this to our Facebook page. This is something where you can create

[01:09:12] and vote on your favorite superhero battles and fights. So I'm not, I'm not exactly sure how to work it. But like I just, so you're like, I mean, like, just you're going to try to plug it in. Okay.

[01:09:24] Yeah, I wanted to want to say the one here. I mean, they, they, they got a lot of Paul versus the unknown. They got the man. Captain America. Yeah. So I mean, kind of cool.

[01:09:36] Well, let's say you can create your own. I did just share it to our Facebook page. So anybody who's in a rest of the can, you know, create their epic matchup. Yeah, I'm not going through that too.

[01:09:48] There are one that I'll only take to create the battle. Yeah, I'm not, so I also get you at the log in. You're on your creative account. Yeah. Okay. All right. Okay. So that leads to me.
